My favorite is the banana chocolate. I also like one that's not on this site which is the classic, with about a half cup pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Tastes like pumpkin pie9 -
I use oats, almond milk, chia seeds, nonfat yogurt, frozen/unsweetened raspberries or blueberries, and walnuts.4

Sorry if this is sorta off topic. I tried a lot of the recipes for overnight oats and didn't like them, I found the texture unappealing. But my husband and I both really like this...it doesn't have much liquid but storing it overnight does help soften the oats so it's easy to mix in the morning.
1/2 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
2 tbsp. quick oats
1/2 tsp. ground flaxseed
1/2 tsp. chia seeds
sprinkle of cinnamon
your choice of berries, cooked & cooled chopped apples, mandarin oranges, etc...OR peaches/pears chopped up and added in the morning.10 -
I kind of kitchen sink it (whatever's in the house) but I really like bob's red mill whey protein, they have a non flavored one that you can throw in without tasting it. I also never have milk in the house, so I got dry milk and throw that in and use water. But in general I do:
chia seeds
frozen fruit (I buy whatever's on sale, cut and freeze it, currently cherries, strawberries, and blueberries)
tapioca pearls
oats
ground flax seed
bob's red mill protein powder
milk powder
honey
I also throw almond butter or peanut butter if I'm feeling it.1 -
Cant wait to try this!!!0

Don't do the overnight thing but make steel cut oats 3 or 4 times a week. Approve of all of above even though I don't think I've ever eaten a flax or chia seed.
Savory oats are good too. Try cooking in chicken or pork stock instead of water. Some things I sometimes include are:- Bouillon (if you don't have stock)
- Onion
- Garlic
- Peppers
- Sausage (Chorizo )
- Bacon Bits
- Cheese
- etc.

You all got me interested, so I looked up overnight oats. Yummo! I'm definitely trying these. I'm not a big breakfast person, but I've been eating breakfast since I began on this "lifestyle change". I'm getting tired of boiled eggs and Greek yogurt (I don't have much time in the morning) - this will nice and easy!1

Some of my additions:
dried cherries and coconut
dried figs and honey
dates with cardamon and honey
cinnamon and cut up apple (or dried)
banana and PB2
fruit jam (add this to Greek yogurt, too for a change from honey)
various extracts: vanilla butternut, vanilla bean paste, etc.3 -
This is my go-to on the weekends! I do weigh solids in grams even though some of these say ounces.

I love my oatmeal cooked with cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamon, nuts, and fresh berries.2
