I'd have said the same!
Auto pause is my friend on map my ride7 -
Going to orientations/trainings and packing a lunch (and pre logging it) instead of opting to grab fast food!21

Today is the awards banquet for the program I am in Pedal off the pounds. I am a leader this year and am so excited to see who won.
Saturday I was able to ride with one of my team members who was trying to make the goal she had set of riding at least 30 miles. She made it and in fact we did 35.3 miles, so much fun to help someone else attain a goal.
August has been a tough month stress wise and I had only gotten a ride in about half of the days. Since Friday I have been out everyday and have logged 100 miles in 4 days.
I rode this morning before work and I feel great today.

After a 9 day vacation of heavy r&r, I went running 4x and somehow lost 1 pound.28

So today I wore a size 18 pants to work and by the end of the day I had to literally hold the pants to keep them from falling off!!!! It was hilarious and fantastic at the same time...the scale has not been moving much but this gave me hope today.39

While sitting in church last Sunday I realized I was sitting with my legs crossed. And not at my ankles, no a full on normal crossed legs position. Whoooo!37

I bought new boots for fall today and they weren't wide calf! First time ever!!37

For the first time I felt like a real runner today. My 10k training app malfunctioned so instead of skipping the run I did something a friend suggested I try once a week
5 min walk
5 min run normal pace
1 min walk
4min run normal +0.5 on treadmill
2 min walk
3 min run normal plus 1 on treadmill
3 min walk
2 min run normal plus 1.5 on treadmill
4 min walk
1 min run plus 2 on treadmill
5 min cool down.
But that meant increasing speed and somehow at the end I was at 30 min and had sprinted the last interval and at like a 9 instead of 12.5 min mile. I felt good and strong and fast.34 -
When I started losing weight, I was squeezing into size 14 but should have been wearing 16. This weekend I was going out for a friend's birthday but none of my 'going out' clothes fit properly. So, I went shopping...
And I bought a pair of size 10 shorts from H&M for the first time in my life!!!
My waist has gone from 34 to 30in and my hips have gone from 44 to 40in.
I need to drop another 4in each to get to my goal of a size 6. Baby steps!34 -
Went clothes shopping - bleh
Size 14 women's blue cut off type trousers - straight on, no undoing them! was dancing round changing room. Didn't buy them though as phone and wallet would not fit into crummy pockets! meh
so off I go to men's section. Currently wearing a 38" pair of mens shorts, so I try 36s. They fit!! Muffin top makes an appearance, but same one as I used to have in size 44s!
and they are gorgeous jeans with awesome pockets, soooo happy!!! now just need the sun to b*gger off for a bit so I don't die if I wear them! hehe
I cannot ever remember buying a pair of 14s. Which means I must have had mum buying me clothes the last time I was this size - which admittedly could have been when I was anywhere up to 16 as I hate and always have hated clothes shopping.
Add to that the principle of vanity sizing and a 14 is prob a 16? But still!! have never seen that number in a label of something that fits me!!
did 3rd park run and was 7 seconds slower than last time - slightly peeved as I felt I was running better. but oh well. having a break for a couple of weeks due to busy weekends, can do my own 5k, but won't have 'official' time and all.
ooh and, went to Wagamamas and had their ramen, didn't want all the noodles, fought the 'wasting food' feeling and didn't eat them all. and then enjoyed a glorious ice cream in the sun!
Feeling epic!30 -

Snap!!! I bent down to get the milk out of the fridge when making tea and suddenly realised my undies were on display.... Fortunately I was wearing some big ones I've been working from home a lot recently so have been living in workout leggings which don't have the same issue! Happy dances, but also annoyed that it means I may have to finally go shopping (I HATE shopping for clothes!)22 -
I'm a living room exerciser, and when I first started this 3 months ago my fitness level was so off-the-charts low that marching in place was my warm-up before proceeding to other low-impact aerobic moves. Now JOGGING in place is my warm-up.40

Decided I would take the stairs today. Made it up 4 flights and was breathing hard but not to the point I would have been before last year.36

Ran C25K W5D3 (the dreaded 20 min run) last night.
Today, I'm wearing the pants to work that I INTERVIEWED in... 2 years ago!!35 -
.....got to add this...colleague walked past me and said, 'you're getting skinnier and skinnier!'
I love lifting the heavy things. Has changed my body shape more in a month than the previous 6 months of 'vaguely lifting the slightly heavy things, but mainly cardio and diet' thing I was doing.25 -
Stopped at the grocery last night, browsed for treats but successfully got out of there with only the stuff I needed. When I got home I realized my sugar craving had vanished.22

Put on some pants this morning that I haven't worn in a while. I knew they would be roomy since I've lost almost 50lbs but for some reason I thought I could still wear them to work? I don't know. Anyways, they literally would not stay up and it was ridiculous. It was a nice reminder that yes I have lost a lot of weight and my body is different even if I don't see it in the mirror yet.24

I still remember putting on my favourite dress shirt that I used to get complimented on, only to have my wife laugh at me. It got donated.18 -
