Hi All - I just started the keto diet. Would like some daily meal ideas. Having a hard time keeping up with fat intake.... and is it bad to eat too much protein. Thanks!

    I am still figuring it out. Yes, you can eat too much protein. Shoot for 20 grams of carbohydrates, a lot of fat and less protein. I drink fatty coffee (google it) in morning and it really helps get the fat in early, plus putting cream cheese in scrambled eggs. Still haven't figured out the meals yet but I have lost weight so doing something right. Good luck

    Drinking fatty coffee is not necessary. "Getting the fat in early" is not necessary.
    20Grams is not a magic number.

    Thank you. I like the cream cheese in eggs idea. I have the keto app which helps keep me on target. I find I am still hungry at end of day despite all my targets being met at close to 100% so I confused on what I should eat or do once I hit my quota for the day. I'm hoping once I have more time in the diet that my hunger will decrease.

    How many calories are you eating? How much weight do you need/want to lose?

    I am eating about 1400 calories and would like to loose 20 pounds
