Don't mean to be crude...

I'm not trying to be crude or offend anyone, but why isn't sex listed as a cardio activity? You have to burn serious calories right?

Heh, we wish. But no. Include it in your daily activity level, if you're that lucky, or consider it a set off for working some strawberries and cream into the act.21
-
You could add it as a custom activity, different people's *ahem* activity level vary greatly during the act so it would be hard to have one estimate. I am now imagining someone having sex with their chest strap and heart rate monitor on to find out exactly what they burned

It simply doesn't burn that many calories for most people.20
-
Um, counted as part of normal activity level so not exercise.

The easiest thing to do is search for a calorie calculator that factors this & use that info to create an personalized entry into MFP.
I have everything set to sedentary/no activity so the system doesn't include anything like that.3 -

Haha. You sex game must be on point if you want to log it17 -
While it is exercize, bringing a timer, to properly log your workout, into the bedroom may be a bit odd at best.5

I've checked my fitbit after a serious session and even though I think its burnt a huge amount it hasn't. LOL7

Sex burns *maybe* 25 calories.4

I probably burn more calories washing my hair16
-
Sex doesn't burn that many calories as people think.4

Do you not do it often enough for it not to count in your daily activity? Also it doesn't burn much calories.5

What's up with this question lately? Is there something in the air?6

I don't believe this has ever been asked before.

I don't count anything that I do for less than a couple of minutes.30

It depends on the sex of course, but most does not burn 'serious' calories. And if you are lucky, it's just part of your daily routine.4
