I am definitley in! This group has been such a motivation to me. Last round was really difficult between having the flu and TOM being here. I've also found it incredibly hard to do my 30 minutes of biking 5 days a week since school started back up. When I get home from work, I am completely exhausted from molding little minds all day, yet I still have to help my own 3 children with their homework, cook dinner, pack lunches, and it usually isn't until 8 that I get to sit down. I need to be able to figure out how to fit exercise back in. I thought about mornings, but I get up at 5:30 as is to get my oldest on the bus and as soon as he leaves, I wake up my youngest to get him out the door. (Staggard busing here.) When he leaves, I leave for work. Any suggestions?

I have similar issue. I leave the house at 7:15 am with my 2 kids and just don't stop until about 8:30 or 9:00 pm. I just don't exercise until 8:30 or 9:00 at night.
You can manage to stay awake? Hahaha3 -

It looks like I’ve gone up since starting this challenge but last round I reached my goal of 69 something however timing was bad and I had travel for work which included a lot of functions and drinking so I’m confident this ‘gain’ will come down this round after I get back into 5:2.

8/31 - 72.2kg (159.2) - a lot is water weight so trying not to stress. No exercise and have had a big couple of days of eating out and drinking due to work trip.

This is scary! I don't share my weight with anyone! But, I need to focus, so I'll join in!
I typically weigh myself every day (except when things aren't going well.)
I'm not sure what a reasonable goal is, I've never done a 10-day challenge. Instead of a weight goal, I will focus on actions:
Log food every day
Run 5 X's in 10 days
Do strength training 3X's in 10 days
10K steps each day

9/1 : 204.9 - not sure what this is, I've had great day. Today was my rest day after working out 5 days in a row. Did 30 flights of stairs and walked for about 50 mins during my down time at work. Logged my food, was under my calorie goal but went over in protein by 26g. Idk if that matters lol2 -
I started in round 14 at 165.5 and ended at 165. This morning am at 164! Had many ups and downs last week. Plan is to be more consistent this week and notice when I sabotage my own weight loss.

9/01 164. Another day I kept the eating under control. Daughter had her wisdom teeth out so busy taking care of her and not busy eating.

Today was my rest day after working out 5 days in a row. Did 30 flights of stairs and walked for about 50 mins during my down time at work.
My body would strenuously object to calling 30 flights of stairs and 50 minutes walking a "rest day." Hahaha!
Are you still weighing at night? If so, (as someone already mentioned) that could account for a wide variation, depending on what and how much you ate or drank during the day. Best to weigh after waking, after going to the bathroom once (or twice) and before showering or bathing.
Consider really resting on rest days, too. Give your muscles time to recover & rebuild into fat - burning machines!
My two cents of advice. Keep on, the weight WILL come off!6 -

30/8/2017: 163 A week's holiday last round put me up a bit again, but have already lost 2/3 of it.
31/9/2017: 162 Yes!!! Goals ✅ Another one bites the dust. Overdid the sodium yesterday, but drank extra water to flush it out.
1/9/2017: 156.6 or 164.2 I got both readings this morning, and a whole lot in between. Scale is being temperamental. I moved it all over the joint, changed the batteries, still going haywire. Goals ✅ Did a lot of sitting at the computer, may not have hydrated enough. Let's see what tomorrow brings. Technology can be annoying!

8/31 - 139.6 - I haven't been below 140 for months. Great if it's a whoosh but most likely a bit of dehydration as I didn't drink much water yesterday. Time will tell....

02/09 - 228.6 Yesterday i had a regular smoothie for breakfast at 6 am. I couldn't eat again until 6:20 pm due to work commitments. I was so busy that I couldn't stop to eat. If I had consciously decided to fast, I would have focused on food and failed. Yet because I was focused on getting through all my tasks, I looked past the hunger (which was not as bad as a normal "can't think until I eat" day) and for once food was not THE priority. I can look at this "experiment" a few ways. 1. All my life I am mentally unchallenged so food relieves the tedium. 2. Food is a fuel not a reward. 3. I can control the times I refuel by need and not desire. 4. Get passionate about life and not endure until the next scheduled fueling point. * I am addicted to flavours hence the doorway to overeating. If I like the flavour my brain goes "more please". Chocolate, stewed meats, homemade bread, peanut butter and cheddar cheese, cake and baked mac and cheese. Sigh.
So let's see how busy I can be today. I don't work on weekends so major challenge here.

Ok. This is it. 10 day weight loss challenge. I was 193.8lbs on August 30. Hopefully, I'll be at 191.5 lbs by the end of this challenge.
8/31 - 192.7.-- great! I was kinda expecting to gain weight because I overate dinner, of all meals! Good rhing I still lost a pound. Will surely exercise more control today.
9/01 - 193.6 -- uh-oh! This is what I've been afraid of! The other night was a little bit over my allowance, bit last night was really a problem. And today I'll be going out for another gathering! Hope I can still manage.
9/02 - 193 -- the struggle is real! I'm glad I didn't gain weight but not minding just 2 of my meals is really scary. Still halfway of my 191.5 target.

8/31 - 193 I pay dearly for cheat days. Even if I don't do too badly, I'm bloated for 2-3 days. I'm so sad that I'm not likely to see the number I wanted for my Birthday because of 1 weak moment. But I'll keep being good and see what happens. At least I'm not too far off my goal for Sept.
9/01 - 191.8 I'm ecstatic! (This was recorded this morning on my mom's scale which is more accurate than mine and it has made my day!!!)
9/02 - 193.6 I should have known this was coming. I was WAY over my calories yesterday because my friends all took me out to celebrate my Birthday. I had a shwarma plate (spicy meat with loads of rice and sauce etc) for the first time and ice cream for dessert. That would have been bad enough but THEN I ate fries for dinner with my husband. So I'm bloated and feeling gross this morning. I won't be able to weigh for the next 2 days due to the fact that I'm away. So I'm hoping to be back to my low number by then!

Back again! I started last round at 144.4 and finished at 142.4 so happy. I'm looking to get to 141 or below without bouncing back. I started midway through Round 2 at 153.9 on 4/29. Slow going but better than nothing. I'm at roughly .5 a week loss.

9/02 142.4 Made it to gym and an aqua aerobics class but kinda blew it later. It's ok. The scale will go back down. I'm off to the forest for a couple days so hiking will be good change from ellip. I hope to come back in the 1's. Have a great holiday weekend (for those in the States).

9/01 137 (Boooo! I ate Chik-fila last night. It was within my calorie limit, but I'm guessing the salt is to blame here? Anyway, did 45 minutes of circuit training at the gym this morning and have my day's meals pre-logged. Onward!
9/02 136.2 Back on track. Today I'll be at a theme park for the day so I'll get plenty of walking in. But the foooood! I know there's a Subway in there so maybe I can make some good choices. I'll be with my husband and kids who will all be gorging away on funnel cake, burgers & fries, etc. Give me strength!

Round 15 I would like to be in the 180s. I realize that eliminating the water pill from my medications, signalling better health, will probably usher in a water weight gain as my body gets used to normalcy again. I hope I deal with it gracefully... Welcome Back Friends!!
8/31 - 191.6 Well I knew it was coming, the weight gain from eliminating the water pill. I'm on a liquid diet from oral surgery, stacked 2 cord of wood yesterday and came in with a significant calorie deficit so this is definitely fluid in some capacity.
9/01 - 192.4 Day 3 of liquid diet, I seem to be salt and carb loading. Today I can start soft foods for two weeks, at least I have more choices. When it's all over I'll have a brilliant smile, it won't erase the memories but it will erase the daily reminder of a time I would rather forget. On a better note, my bp without the water pill is still running around 110/70 and I see the Dr in 6 weeks, hopefully I'll be in a downward trend by then and he can eliminate more meds. Sorry for the grind guys... feeling the stress of the scale going up when I'm on point.
9/02 - 191.8 Went over on calories but still under maintenance, pretty sure that bottle of wine isn't included in a liquid diet. Crawled out of bed at 11:30 pm and staggered around the block in my pajamas because I was at 8900 steps, and I didn't want to break my 10000 step streak. Not sure if my loss is dehydration or that my fluids have finally levelled out.8 -

9/02 258.6 - got fast food for dinner last night. to be honest, the fries were awesome tasting (but potatoes are always awesome in my book), but nothing else was really. didn't taste that good, and i didn't feel full or satisfied at all. as i eat better, i can literally feel that all that fast food stuff is just empty calories. i also didn't walk at all yesterday, but sometimes, i need the extra sleep. got the family some bowling balls, going to try to start adding in some weekend bowling for a little exercise.

8/31- 202.6 yesterday I was finally able to eat some food after two days of having awful strep throat. I still have it but the antibiotics is working. I can't go to the gym because now my son and husband are sick.
9/01 202.6- I officially caught my sons cold. My throat feels better but I'm still on antibiotics. Man I can't catch a break from all this sickness!
9/02- 200.8 yesterday I did lifting. Didn't have much of an appetite because of my cold and sore throat.

8/31 - 199.2 - hoping this is real. I've got a cold so haven't done any exercise. Ate within calories yesterday but didn't drink enough water.
9/1 - 199.0 - Happy. Especially because I feel like death. Took my progress picture today (1 month in). I've lost 8'lbs total and don't see a difference which is frustrating. As Dory would say, "Just keep swimming."
9/2 - 198.2 - Whoa! Was not expecting this at all. I'm still sick and haven't been eating much so it could be due to that. I just want this terrible cold to go away! Not much planned for today. Should be able to stay within calories. Wish I felt good enough to exercise but I don't.

I'm back!! Starting a day late on this round, we returned from our road trip last night. Much food I normally don't eat was consumed (think Poutine, Smoked meat, crepes...LOTs of wine LOL) so I know most of the reason I'm way up is that. I kept my breakfasts and lunches lighter so I could splurge at dinner....
So here goes 9 days of trying to get rid of the water bloat so I can see what the real damage was.

9/01 - 157.4 - Results of our trip to Ottawa and Montreal. Also TOM started yesterday so this is a double Whammy. Going on a trail run this morning and will drink lots of water and get back to my regular meal routine.
