Thought I went way over yesterday and didn't want to log it, but just finished up and I was only about 100 calories over! It helps to log everything and see it all, even when I'm scared I went over by a lot25

I hadn't been on my weekly long run in a couple of weeks because of vacation and general life things. I was kind of dreading going this morning because I thought I would have lost my conditioning or something. But I got up this morning and went for an 8 mile run anyways. It felt so, so good to just get outside and run. I realized I'd been missing my Sunday morning long runs as they've become kind of like a reset button between weeks. And not only did today feel great, but I also knocked 9 minutes off of my time for this training run since my last half marathon training cycle! Bodes well for a PR (fingers crossed)!24

I went to get dressed yesterday and realized all of my shirts looked like tents, so I had to go do some shopping. Purchased a size large shirt for the first time in about 15 years. Feels great to go from a 2xl to a large!40

I ran 3 miles in under 30 minutes. (Barely, but I did it!).35

I had to switch from medium to small for my surgical scrubs, actually between sizes small and xsmall for pants. Surgical scrubs are kind of a pain because they don't fit all shapes of bodies. Typically you're between sizes. At least I don't have to buy or wash them. Lol. Also bought some new jeans yesterday and went down a size! I need to go out and buy some new tops because my shirts ( at least the button-up tops look like tents on me. Me happy!25

Don't like to quote myself but had to update - my dear, dear little girl did so well today. She was aiming to knock a few seconds off her previous time.
I ran with her and at some points she was running faster than I was. I kept telling her to just jog, not to run, or to run very slowly but I think that at four years old, "run" means run and "jog" isn't in her vocabulary. But then she tired herself out, so it was very much run/walk/run/walk all the way around. But that's okay, as at no point did she say that she didn't want to do it. And any activity is good, in my opinion.
Just got the results and she smashed her previous PB by two minutes and four seconds! Wish I could knock that amount of time off my 5k! I am so, so proud of her, especially as she wants to keep on going - she's already talking about the next one, and working out how many more runs she needs to get her "half-marathon" wrist band (three down, eight to go).29 -
I was having a really bad pain day(chronic pain sufferer here) and I didn't binge on carbs or chocolate. No, I had three oranges. Still not perfect but before MFP I'd binge waaaaaayyy more and definitely with less nutrition value
Also, I ate before groceries so no bad snacks where purchased. Including no Maltesers which are always begging me to buy and eat them30 -
I tried on my white skirt and realized that it has a band at the top. I have been wearing the skirt for several years with the skirt being bunched up because it was too tight and my muffin top was over it so I never noticed the band at the top. The band now lies flat and looks great!28

okay, this, this is a major NSV and one I aspire toooooooo
I hear you! I've been eyeing shoe stores for fall boots just so I can see if I can fit them over my calves now. Haven't see a pair yet to try on.6 -
I tried on a 0X dress from forever 21 and it fit! At the beginning of the year I was a 2X! And I've only lost 15 pounds so far20

Even though the scale didn't move the whole month of August, I kept to my calorie and workout goals and never got discouraged (although i admit a couple mornings I wanted to throw my scale out the window, but that was annoyance not discouragement). In fact the WL stall made me want to double down rather than give up. The last two times I lost weight I gave up after 2 week WL stalls, so this is significant for me.32

The capri pants I wore to an antique show today kept slipping down while I was walking. They have an elastic band, so I never figured they'd become "loose" on me, but there ya have it. Guess I'll have to buy new ones for next summer, and that's FINE!23

I've decided to start jogging and managed 1.5km without stopping. I know that's a tiny amount to most people but previously I would have given up after a few minutes and started walking as I "couldn't breathe". This time I concentrated on my breathing and made it to 1.5km before needing to walk. The following day (yesterday) I repeated it and got to 1.7km before walking. My goal is to complete a 5k park run on Saturday 30th September. I may not run it all but I hope to run most of it!!33

My calorie intake was much much better this weekend!! Think over by 72 Saturday and under by 150 odd yesterday! yay
I have been being careful with my knee, so no running or leg weights, but I still went for some walks and did upper body workout and Pilates
used the pull up machine for first time in gym - that is weird!! climb up, set to 55kg, so am 'lifting' around 30kg as I weigh 85kg at the moment. Stand on the plates and slowly it lowers so I have to pull up - very odd motion, but cool. I don't like the under grip one as it felt like I had to lean back a lot to do anything - but looking forward to practicing.
This morning's NSV is that I stopped 2 ladies from swimming for 10 mins as they were watching me and chatting about how much stronger my stroke was I went to get out of the pool and they collared me to tell me! lovely of them19 -
Bittersweet NSV milestone. Just did my measurements this morning. After 8 months the narrowest part of my waist dropped from 30in to 27in. Unfortunately the widest part my hips dropped from 48.25in to only 44in. I was hoping to be much lower on my bottom half by now. I love my pear shape but somedays it can be annoying. It would be so nice if humans had the ability to spot reduce, I really want to get rid of all this excess hip and butt fat. Fighting genetics is no easy task.24

The K-Mart closest to me closed yesterday, so everything in the store was 90-95% off. The changing rooms were closed, so I was unable to try anything on. The two large workout tanks I grabbed fit great (I like them loose) once I got home to try them on. One is kind of sheer, and one has a very open back, but I can confidently wear them to the gym! I had to get new undies, too, since all of my 9/XLs were saggy and in a sorry state (and they were all marked down to between .29 and .07). I grabbed a dozen pairs of pretty lacy undies all in mediums, AND THEY FIT! After slacking hard in the nutrition department this summer, I am so glad that even though the scale is currently mad at me, I have not lost all of my progress. It has taken me four years to lose 150 lbs, but I will not quit!49

I was constantly hungry yesterday and gave into eating more calories but didn't go crazy and didn't let it bother me either. I think there are times your body is telling you to eat a bit more and it wont make a big difference as long as you don't go crazy and eat everything in sight.25

100 days of logging and we have progress people.
I've been catching up on this thread so I realise re-posting this is crazy late, but not only is it great to see 100-day results like this (I recently hit my own 100-day mark, which is why this resonates with me), but I realise now that another 100+ days has passed since. Were you satisfied with your progress in the second hundred days, @cordney ?
ETA: By the way I LOVE your profile pic23 -
I have 30 lbs to go. I feel amazing inside and out. Losing weight is so good for your self esteem.

I went over my calories yesterday but I logged it anyway. Normally I would give up logging for the day when I know I'm going to go over. I just couldn't say no to homemade buttermilk waffles so I know I'm going over again today but still plan on logging.29
