Main target this round (and most likely the next round) is to lose the weight I gained over the holidays...
8/31: 65.9kg - same as yesterday
9/01: 65.5kg - in a good flow, accurate logging and firmly back in the (spinning) saddle
9/02: 65.3kg - can't wait to see the back of 65kg again
9/03: 64.8kg - wow, super happy with this, looks like I'm dropping it as quick as I put it on
9/04: 64.7kg - struggled yesterday, but determined to keep this up
9/05: 64.7kg - same as yesterday, which is fine
9/06: 64.7kg - patience patience patience...
9/07: 64.3kg - that's better!
9/08: 64.3kg - same as yesterday, hoping for a woosh to finish this round tomorrow

- Changes often take several days to show on the scale.
- A drop is often followed by a bounce up before it settles back down. A general downward trend is the aim.
- A high sodium day usually results in water retention, unless you drink extra fluids to flush it out.
You are making positive lifestyle changes which will lead to increased health and fitness.
Slow and steady leads to sustainable weight loss.

Round 15 Target weight: 162
30/8/2017: 163 A week's holiday last round put me up a bit again, but have already lost 2/3 of it.31/9/2017: 162 Yes!!! Goals ✅ Another one bites the dust. Overdid the sodium yesterday, but drank extra water to flush it out.4/9/2017: 163.4 Goals ✅ Small drop. Back on track. Just a couple of slack days have consequences.
1/9/2017: 156.6 or 164.2 I got both readings this morning, and a whole lot in between. Scale is being temperamental. I moved it all over the joint, changed the batteries, still going haywire. Goals ✅ Did a lot of sitting at the computer, may not have hydrated enough. Let's see what tomorrow brings. Technology can be annoying!
2/9/2017: 162.2 Phew! Scale has settled down again! Goals ✅ Had a good workout 1st thing. Lots of water. Sticking to my goals and daily plan.
2/9/2017: 163.8 I was expecting that. Goals ✅ apart from a minor blowout on chocolate after dinner. Drank lots of water early in the day, but forgot to combat the sodium in lunch/dinner later in the day. Live and Learn!
5/9/2017: 162.6 Goals ✅ Much better. Still working on losing holiday baggage from the summer.
6/9/2017: 161 Goals ✅ I have finally lost the holiday baggage from the summer months. Time to batten down the hatches and go for my ultimate goal.
7/9/2017: 161.8 Goals ✅ Normal fluctuation. Often get a bounce after a whoosh. Still below where I started the summer, and my R15 target.
8/9/2017: 161.8 Goals ✅ Yay! Holding steady and under goal for this round. Now to just stay there!

Here we go time to do it to it.
RD14 start 252.6 End 252.8
Day/Weight/Comment
8/31 253.6 I have been yoyoing between a couple of pounds lately time to make some progress. Having a long holiday weekend during this 10 days will be a big challenge.
9/01 253.9 I have this two pound back an forth thing going on. Holiday weekend is looming large gotta focus.
9/02 254.9
9/03 254.9
9/04 256.1 Yup holiday weekend, mexican, Applebees, last night grilled ribeyes, I own it, I must do WAYYYYY better, no excuses here.
9/05 256.1 Wow I really suck at this and I have lost 40 lbs in the last 18 mo. so what is going on, the last 17 days have been awful. I gotta get my crap together no excuses. My exercise is fine so quit feeding your face dude.
9/06 255.9
9/07 255.6
9/08 254.2 I ate better and had good steps about 8000, I have discovered that meeting my step goal(8000) is an essential part of my day. I'm down 40 lbs over 18 months thats my motivator. This is a marathon not a sprint Id rather get the weight off over 2-3 years and keep it off for life than lose it in six months and gain even more when it comes back on. I don't diet I eat in such a way that I can sustain it for life and it works.

I am definitley in! This group has been such a motivation to me. Last round was really difficult between having the flu and TOM being here. I've also found it incredibly hard to do my 30 minutes of biking 5 days a week since school started back up. When I get home from work, I am completely exhausted from molding little minds all day, yet I still have to help my own 3 children with their homework, cook dinner, pack lunches, and it usually isn't until 8 that I get to sit down. I need to be able to figure out how to fit exercise back in. I thought about mornings, but I get up at 5:30 as is to get my oldest on the bus and as soon as he leaves, I wake up my youngest to get him out the door. (Staggard busing here.) When he leaves, I leave for work. Any suggestions?
Round 15 SW 178.6
Round 15 GW: 178
UGW: 125
08/31: 178.6 I am back to where I started last round. Lol
09/01: 179.6 I am at a plateau. That's okay though. I'll keep walking, eating right, and drinking my H2O.
09/02: 177 Woo Hoo!!!! I have lost 25 lbs. now, and I met my goal and then some. I met last week's goal.
09/03: 176.8 Yes!!!! A little bit more has come off. I have been walking a lot more than I ever have before. My water intake was awful yesterday because I was gone all day running errands. I need to up my game today for that. I was under my calories but not by much either.
09/04: 176.6 I am losing a bit at a time. Still had a rough day with water, but I did better than I did the day before. I ate well though and plan to go biking with my husband this morning.
09/05: 176.8 My day started off well with a healthy breakfast, and I went on a 6 mile bike ride with my husband. Then, I barely touched water, skipped practically every meal, and ate a high carb and high sodium meal last night. I must admit, the dinner and the skipping of meals was a really bad choice. Did I fall off the wagon? No, it was almost 10 at night when I finally had my dinner because I spent all day in the hospital with my Mom. My Mom in this instance is my mother-in-law for clarification. She is battling lung cancer and could barely breathe. I sent a text to check on her and knew something was wrong. My husband and I rushed her to the hospital to find out she has developed pneumonia. It was a difficult Labor Day to say the least, and she will be there for I don't know how long.
09/06: 176.4 Slow and steady wins the race. A friend of my brother's asked me to pull over yesterday. He said he asked my brother who I was, and he said it was his sister. His buddy said that is not your sister. My brother told him about my weight loss journey, and the guy just had to tell me that I was looking really good. Awesome validation for all of my hard work.
09/07: 176.4 HOLDING STEADY!
09/08: 176!!! Woot Woot!!!! I'm starting to get really excited. I think it's about how close the 175 is getting. I'm glad I'm still eating healthy even if this week has been hard with Mom in the hospital.

Round 15
SW 161.9
Goal for ground 15 159.0
8/31 - 161.9 - yesterday was hard and today will be too - back to school which means inservice - lots of sitting in one spot and feeling hungry to stay awake yet no motivation to work out when you get home. Hopefully I can do something physical tonight.
9/1 161.2 not bad considering yesterday was inservice, I sat all day, didn't work out, and had Wendy's for lunch
9/2 161.3 - had almost 20,000 steps yesterday but went and had a pretty calorie dense dinner because it was cold and I wanted potato soup so overall not bad!!
9/3 161.3 - had a lot of steps but no actual exercise, also stayed around my calories even around date night with hubby - hopefully today's exercise makes a difference on the scale tomorrow morning
9/4 160.2 ahhhhh!! Getting close to 159's!! Going to have to keep up the activity this week because it's my mom's birthday on Wednesday and we will have cake, plus we are celebrating with the family on Thursday. MUST keep up the activity!!
9/5 160.7 ???? Had picnic food but also major activity and a bit of s stomach bug...not sure about the gain?
9/6 161.3 - yesterday was the first day of school plus Labor Day leftovers plus 16,000 steps on high heels leading to sore legs - we will see how this goes...
9/7 161.0 - had an extra long day, salty dinner, cake for mom's birthday...I'll take it
9/8 161.7 - cake and pizza and did not reach 10,000 steps yesterday

Day/Weight/Comment
8/31 - 160 - What what?? Great workout with my trainer, under calories, and lots of water. Big loss for one day, so may not stick, but I'm going to enjoy it for now!
9/1 - no scale
9/2 - no scale
9/3 - no scale
9/4 - no scale
9/5 - 161.2 - this could have been way worse based on my long labor day weekend...so I'm ok with it. Back on track today.
9/6 - 160 - Sweet! I may actually hit goal this round! Regardless...this number is encouraging since I had a difficult time getting back on track yesterday after The Great Labor Day Weekend Binge of 2017. Just the boost I needed to get back to my new normal.
9/7 - 160 - I dreamt I got to 159.7 hahahaha...not today says my body. It's OK body, you may let go of .3 lbs, love me.
9/8 0 159.8 - OK so the first time I weighed my scale flickered between 159.8 and 160 before settling on 160. Walked to the kitchen to get my coffee, came back and tried again and it stuck on 159.8. Calorie and water intake has been good, but I haven't gotten in any exercise for most of the week.
9/910 -
9/07-156.86 So I had a cry today when I realized everyone got a yummy Starbucks except me. Then husband and I got into an argument because I don't want to go out to eat. I see no point in going to a restaurant when I can't order what I actually want to eat. So mentally not having a great day. Maintaining calories.
9/08
9/09
Don't do this to yourself. You can still go out to eat, and you can still order what you want, eat half of it and put the rest away for a lunch the next day.
Change your side choices, have a side salad instead of potato, don't eat the bread. There are many different choices you can make and so what if you go over by a couple hundred calories. Once you get to goal it's not going to be a free for all and you eat whatever you want. We live in the real world and we have to adapt to it so go out and enjoy the company of your husband, laugh over dinner, take a couple of his fries to satisfy that urge. You can do this! You are doing awesome this round but don't deprive yourself or you will end up binging. Be good to yourself. Oh, and Starbucks ain't all that.. hahaha..13 -

9/02: 238 (ok so my bffs bday weekend continued with going to a buffet last night which I didn't want to decline because it was her bday weekend so I just tried my hardest to go with healthier choices which I guess paid off. If you get the salad first it really fills you.)

Back again! I started last round at 144.4 and finished at 142.4 so happy. I'm looking to get to 141 or below without bouncing back. I started midway through Round 2 at 153.9 on 4/29. Slow going but better than nothing. I'm at roughly .5 a week loss.
We are all champs!
Day/Weight/Comment
8/30 142.4
8/31 142 ....45 ellip and gym yesterday! Yeah me!
9/01 142 and holding... for now. 1 hr weeding and 30 ellip yesterday. Ate smart but had a late night snack, something I never do but seemed like a good idea at the time. LOL today: gym and ellip.. Happy Friday All, stay strong.
9/02 142.4 Made it to gym and an aqua aerobics class but kinda blew it later. It's ok. The scale will go back down. I'm off to the forest for a couple days so hiking will be good change from ellip. I hope to come back in the 1's. Have a great holiday weekend (for those in the States).
9/03 no scale
9/04 no scale
9/05 144.2 Well, that hurts. Rained until morning we were leaving and so we ate in restaurants which never helps. Last night on way home had Chinese. Hoping this is mostly, or all, water weight. Lemon water and maybe to gym.
9/06 142.2 That's better. No exercise since I had a phlebotomy yesterday and losing 500 cc's of blood makes that out of the question. Ate reasonably and drank some lemon water. 3 days to get in the 141's.
9/07 141.4 Yes! Reached goal for this round; now to stay here. Lots of protein yesterday and some lemon water... my fav bev. Need to get some exercise today.
9/08 142.4 Nooooo. God, my body loves this number. Well, no exercise all week. Just restricting cals doesn't do it for me. Tonight is pizza night at my house - so I don't have to cook. I'll limit to one slice and salad.

Such great advice. Especially about it not being a free for all after hitting goal. It's about learning new habits and establishing a different relationship with food. And I agree about Starbucks...10 -

Round 15 I would like to be in the 180s. I realize that eliminating the water pill from my medications, signalling better health, will probably usher in a water weight gain as my body gets used to normalcy again. I hope I deal with it gracefully... Welcome Back Friends!!
8/31 - 191.6 Well I knew it was coming, the weight gain from eliminating the water pill. I'm on a liquid diet from oral surgery, stacked 2 cord of wood yesterday and came in with a significant calorie deficit so this is definitely fluid in some capacity.
9/01 - 192.4 Day 3 of liquid diet, I seem to be salt and carb loading. Today I can start soft foods for two weeks, at least I have more choices. When it's all over I'll have a brilliant smile, it won't erase the memories but it will erase the daily reminder of a time I would rather forget. On a better note, my bp without the water pill is still running around 110/70 and I see the Dr in 6 weeks, hopefully I'll be in a downward trend by then and he can eliminate more meds. Sorry for the grind guys... feeling the stress of the scale going up when I'm on point.
9/02 - 191.8 Went over on calories but still under maintenance, pretty sure that bottle of wine isn't included in a liquid diet. Crawled out of bed at 11:30 pm and staggered around the block in my pajamas because I was at 8900 steps, and I didn't want to break my 10000 step streak. Not sure if my loss is dehydration or that my fluids have finally levelled out.
9/03 - 194 I have no words
9/04 - 192.4 okay better..
9/05 - 190 This morning this happened, I really don't know if it's real or not.
9/06 - 188.8 Yup, it was real! Hooray for wooshes!
9/07 - 188.8 Wow, truly in the 180's... I took out my fall clothes and they are all hanging off me, sucks that I have to go shopping for new clothes
9/08 - 188.8 I like this number but not that much!

R15: 192.8 -
R15 Goal: 191
Day/Weight/Comment
8/31: 192.8 – didn’t eat enough yesterday. But still walked a lot.
9/01: 192.2 – Ate over cals yesterday. I made a big mistake the other day not eating enough, because I am so tired and drained now that I ate too much and didn’t work out. I am looking forward to this 3 day weekend!
9/02: 191.8 – Ate good calorie wise yesterday, over on the sugar, but treated myself! Walked our normal 3.25 mile route. Really happy with my results lately. I can’t believe I’m knocking on the 180’s door! I’ll have to buy some new clothes soon.
9/03: 191.4 – kind of a lazy day yesterday. I will get moving today.
9/04: 191.2 – Walked A LOT yesterday. Ate a little high on calories, hubby and I walked to the local burger joint (1.2 miles one way) and had a couple beers and split a burger and fries. Shopped and got some new work pants a size smaller! Woo!
9/05: 191 – the day after a long weekend. So tired! I just wish I could sleep a couple more hours. Ate a little extra yesterday, but not derailed by any means. And I hit my R15 goal!
9/06: 192 – Some bad food choices catching up. Goal today is to drink lots of water and get my food back on track and walk.
9/07: 191.4 – Calories and water good yesterday. I didn’t get a chance to walk since after work, grocery store, cooking and eating it was 9:00pm. Tonight I go to a meal planning meeting and get weighed and measured for a six week challenge I signed up for at a local gym.
9/08: 191.6 – I have no complaints. I know that my body goes through this, it’s not because I’m doing something wrong, it’s just how it works for me.
9/09: I will be camping and don’t plan on bringing my scale with me, so 191.6 will be my final weigh in for this round. Down 1.2 pounds in this round. Yay!
Also, I have joined a transformation gym and am participating in their six week challenge. This will definitely be a challenge! Clean eating, intense workouts (5 required weekly), no alcohol and weekly weigh ins along with personal counseling. The reason I’m explaining this is that they do not want participants weighing at home, only at the weekly weigh ins on their equipment. I have learned a bunch about my body doing this and logging it and feel like I can be in control when I do it. But I’m going to follow the guidelines of the challenge and not do daily weigh ins for the six weeks. I’ll still be logging and doing my weekly check ins on the app! And I might even check in with this challenge group because I like it so much.

9/04: 312.2 : Measure day. Lost weight but gained a couple cm.
9/05: 311.6 : wipee! This was from a huge workout and under cals. Most likely go back up tomorrow.
9/06: 311.6 : Glad to see it didn't go up. I would be happy for it to stay at 311 till the end of the week, but a little more won't hurt lol. Don't want to loose too fast lol.
9/07: 311.6 : So close now to 4lb loss this week. 2 days left.
9/08: 312.2 : Gone up but I know why. I haven't worked out and on my TOM.10 -
August 30: 193.8 lbs
8/31 - 192.7.-- great! I was kinda expecting to gain weight because I overate dinner, of all meals! Good thing I still lost a pound. Will surely exercise more control today.
9/01 - 193.6 -- uh-oh! This is what I've been afraid of! The other night was a little bit over my allowance, bit last night was really a problem. And today I'll be going out for another gathering! Hope I can still manage.
9/02 - 193-- the struggle is real! I'm glad I didn't gain weight but not minding just 2 of my meals is really scary. Still halfway of my 191.5 target.
9/03 - 194.5 -- I woke up feeling heavy so I was expecting this. But it's still disappointing. o'm disappointed with myself. Just 3 days ago, I was 192.7, and now, 4th day on my challenge, I'm already 2lbs heavier. I hope this is just water weight.
9/04 - 193 -- hmm, so the weight gain must really have been from water retention.
9/05 - 192.9 -- slowly getting there
9/06 - 193.8 -- water weight again I guess.
9/07 - 191.2 -- wow! I can't believe my eyes but this is what the scales are really showing. Finally got out of the 193-194 seesaw, even reached my target goal of 191.5 yey!
9/08 - 190.5 -- can't describe my glee. 1lb lower than my target. But weekends' coming up and need to have more control than ever. I can do this!
9/09
Target: 191.5 lbs (since I reached this already, I'll go for 190)13 -

Clean eating, intense workouts (5 required weekly), no alcohol and weekly weigh ins along with personal counseling. The reason I’m explaining this is that they do not want participants weighing at home, only at the weekly weigh ins on their equipment. I have learned a bunch about my body doing this and logging it and feel like I can be in control when I do it. But I’m going to follow the guidelines of the challenge and not do daily weigh ins for the six weeks. I’ll still be logging and doing my weekly check ins on the app! And I might even check in with this challenge group because I like it so much.
I think you should pop in and let us know how you are doing!9 -

This is my second round!
R14 sw 205 end 201
Day/Weight/Comment
8/31- 202.6 yesterday I was finally able to eat some food after two days of having awful strep throat. I still have it but the antibiotics is working. I can't go to the gym because now my son and husband are sick.
9/01 202.6- I officially caught my sons cold. My throat feels better but I'm still on antibiotics. Man I can't catch a break from all this sickness!
9/02- 200.8 yesterday I did lifting. Didn't have much of an appetite because of my cold and sore throat.
9/03- 200.8 yesterday I watched what I ate and didn't workout.
9/04- 202.4 ugh I'm going to blame this on the bad eating of doughnuts and lack of water. Oh and I didn't workout
9/05 204.4! Gotta love cheat days! Lol
9/06 201.8 did leg day yesterday and watched what I ate.
9/07 201.6 did back and biceps. And watched what I ate
9/08 202.4. I ate good and workouted shoulders. Wish I drank more water tho!

R13 SW 236
R14 SW 230.6
R15 SW 229.8
Goal - 225
31/08 - 230
01/09 - 229.2
02/09 - 228.6 Yesterday i had a regular smoothie for breakfast at 6 am. I couldn't eat again until 6:20 pm due to work commitments. I was so busy that I couldn't stop to eat. If I had consciously decided to fast, I would have focused on food and failed. Yet because I was focused on getting through all my tasks, I looked past the hunger (which was not as bad as a normal "can't think until I eat" day) and for once food was not THE priority. I can look at this "experiment" a few ways. 1. All my life I am mentally unchallenged so food relieves the tedium. 2. Food is a fuel not a reward. 3. I can control the times I refuel by need and not desire. 4. Get passionate about life and not endure until the next scheduled fueling point. * I am addicted to flavours hence the doorway to overeating. If I like the flavour my brain goes "more please". Chocolate, stewed meats, homemade bread, peanut butter and cheddar cheese, cake and baked mac and cheese. Sigh.
So let's see how busy I can be today. I don't work on weekends so major challenge here.
03/09 - 228.8 actually rode my stationery for 30 minutes yesterday. Second time in last six months. Felt good.
04/09 - 228.2
05/09 - 227.8
06/09 - 227.8
07/09 - 229 TOM and salty turkey legs for dinner.... could not resist. Onward and downward. I am in the process of making a collage of empowering notes to stick by my computer / bed / and favourite chair where I watch TV. I will see how it affects my eating habits.

8/31 - 132.1 I am the epitome of a yoyo for the last 2 months. I have to believe that if I want the loss bad enough, I will do the right thing. Obviously, I am not going to reach 130# this month. I leave tomorrow and return home to my regular scale. I will be interested to see what it reads But it's not just about the numbers!
9/01 - 131.7 on the road today and no scale tomorrow
9/02 - no scale. I will be home in 4 hours and back to my comfort zone for habits (exercise and eating). Looking for that 130# and then my ultimate goal to get below that!
9/03 - 130.8 back to my scale at home.
9/04 - 130 At the gym. Back to my routine. Things are looking up.
9/05 - 130 staying steady. But have not been logging. A little afraid what tomorrow will bring. But hoping my workout mode will help me and tomorrow I will log!
9/06 - 131.6 no surprise here. The stress of Hurricane Irma and living in So. Fl is not helping. along w/not logging. I am trying to refocus and stay on track. Was at the gym this morning. Eating has been fair, but I will log!
9/07 - 131.6 Hopefully will get better...
9/08 - 130.8 I am good with that for this round. Finally below the 131 mark at the end of a round. Bring on round 16.12 -

I'm in! Now that summer weekend events should be over, I'm hoping to get my weekends more in line with my weekdays. Not that they've been terrible - just hard to track.
Round 13 SW: 232.4
Round 14 SW: 232.4
Round 15 SW: 229.0
Round 15 Goal: 227
Day/Weight/Comment
8/31- 229.0 - hopefully the 230s are gone for good. No exercise last night because I was exhausted. Stayed under calories though.
9/01- 229.8 - I hung out with a friend last night and binged. Hard. I'm going to attempt to put something in my diary, but I'm not entirely sure that I can account for all that I ate last night. I feel pretty gross this morning as a result. But - I'm still under 230 and today is a new day. Going to push water because there will undoubtedly much bloat from sodium.
9/02 - 228.4 - new low! Guess I didn't do too much damage after all!
9/03 - 228.4 - I'll always take staying put over the yo-yo.
9/04 - 227.2 - Wow! I really didn't exist extra that at all! We will see if it holds.
9/05 - 227.0 - I already hit my goal for this round! Wow. I'm glad to see that my efforts are finally producing some real results. I just want to make sure I don't start losing too fast!
9/06 - 227.0 - I'm good with hanging out here. Still amazed. Just going to keep doing what I'm doing since I know it works.
9/07 - 226.6 - Alright. Clearly my body is just shedding weight now. I'm OK with this. Keep waiting for the yo-yo.
9/08 - 227.2 - Moe's for dinner last night. It fit in my calories, but I have feeling there was a lot more sodium than I usually have; also have added some jogging intervals in my walk the last two days and am a bit sore, so there could be some water retention, too. Still good with this number though! My average has me at 226.6.

44-year-old female
This is my first round...
Sw- 141 lbs
This round goal - 130's
UGW- 120 lbs
8/31 - ugh ! 143. Lbs - why?? Why did I gain? I'm going through a bad flare with my Hashimoto's. Makes my joints hurt terribly. But been measuring everythingI eat and everything is non-gluten and organic. I have increased my water intake and get my exercise in. Boo hoo!
9/01- 141.6 lbs - did no exercise at all yesterday as I somehow hurt my back. Can't even take a big breath.
9/02 - 141.6. Hubby and I went to dinner and a movie last night. I ate 1800 kcal yesterday, didn't get my steps in and didn't work out due to my back injury. Back is doing better today, so I'm going to take the dog on a nice walk and start my day off right! Morning ya'll!
9/03 - 141.6. Omg! How can I have three days of the exact same weight?? Got my steps in, my water in, and, light weights for back as it's recovering from an injury. Walked the dog for 30 minutes through our hilly neighborhood. Ran 20 minutes on the treadmill. Then I crazy-danced for a bout 10 minutes because I didn't want to stop moving because I LOVE early 90's dance music. Then abs and back workout.
Downfall is the actual hunger I've been feeling. Not cravings, actual hunger pangs and growling. It is very difficult to ignore. We ate dinner early yesterday 4PM, because I was hangry! It was BBQ ribs and veggies. It satiated me for about 2 hrs but then I was getting the hunger pangs again. I ended up going to a new local restaurant and ordered a small molten lava cake (of course they had no idea of the nutritional value except that was gluten-free. So I just did some searches and went with what looked like middle of the road for kcal. Then I went home and had some gluten-free, organic corn chips with salsa. I ate very healthy first 3/4 of th day though.
9/4 - 142.4! Ok, I'm trying not to be upset. This is where I think weighing every day can be harmful. I feel like I did everything so great yesterday, yet I gained .8 oz. I measured and tracked everything single morsel/drop that I ate/drank. I ate just over 1300 kcal. I worked out very hard yesterday, I am pleasantly sore in just about every muscle of my body. I really felt like I had a near perfect day. When I saved my diary, it actually said if I kept up a day like yesterday, I'd be down to 131-something in 5 weeks.
Now, we did eat dinner late last night. About 8:30 pm as we were at church late. I did get up earlier than I normally would today and weighed as I need to take a longish nap today because I work a 12-hr shift tonight starting at 7p.
As I said, I'm trying not to be upset because otherwise I feel good this morning and am proud of my eating and workout accomplishments.
Ok, eta. Just looked at my diary and I did consume too much sodium yesterday. Probably not where I should be with my protein either. I will try to improve this today
Also I really didn't have any hunger issues yesterday.
9/5- 141.2 lbs. weighed really late because I worked last night and slept today until 6pm. Just about 8pm now and about ready to go back to bed. Lol, last night is taking me a bit to recover from. Too many mommies wanting to go into labor on Labor Day
9/6 141.2 lbs. Went over with my calorie count yesterday. And had no exercise and very little water because I slept all day.
9/7-141.8 lbs. Well , I guess my goal is just not going to happen this round. I felt like I did awesome yesterday. I worked out ate below my deficit, drank my water yet I still gained. This just goes to show you (well, at least me) that it's not just what the scale is saying. Or whatever, lol. I feel healthier and in much better shape than I have in years. TMI but I'm on the verge of TOM. So, maybe that's why the weight gain. I've never paid attention to whether or not that affects my weight. I know it does for some women but I guess I'll test it out.
9/8-140.6lbs. That's better. But I didn't do much at all yesterday due to headache. By the time I started feeling better, I decided to drink the rest of my calories. Ugh.10 -
Goal weight 130
Round 14 SW 142.6
Round 15 SW 136.6
Goal for Round 15 is to log my food every day and hopefully get to 134.
Day/Weight/Comment
8/31 136.4 - Ran for 4 miles
9/01 137 - 45 Minutes circuit training at the gym
9/02 136.2 - No exercise but lots of walking around a theme park
9/03 137.8 - Ran for 10 miles. Yesterday was a calorie disaster. Was at a theme park with $1 days on all the junk food + Chinese food for dinner. Have planned out my meals for today and will eat some of my exercise calories and not worry about it because the 10 miler burned over a 1,000 calories.
9/04 138.6 - Did a 3 hour hike with friends and family. Ate my exercise calories and even so was out of calories before dinner so I just quit eating for the day.
9/05 138.6 - Ran for 3 miles. Have my meals planned out and for the day. I really feel like I'm just slowly backpedaling here as far as the weight goes.
9/06 138.2 - Circuit training at the gym for 45 minutes. Stuck to my food plan yesterday until the end of the day when I noshed down on an Almond Joy, a Skor bar, and a huge slice of ice cream cake. DOH! My husband brings home bagfuls of candy all the time. And I was so hungry in the day yesterday. I think I'll have to eat some of my exercise calories to avoid binges like that.
9/07 137.2 - No exercise. Just felt like a rest day for once! Yesterday I consciously tried to drink a glass of water every hour in the day. Wow, I was peeing like a race horse! I'm typically really bad about drinking water and live in a constant state of dehydration. Today I've planned my meals out. Have been busy running around doing errands so haven't felt hungry yet. Not going to meet my goal weight for this round, but I am on the right path and feeling determined.
9/08 136.6 - Well, I'm at least back at my starting point for this round. If I end a little under this I'll call that a win. Did 45 minutes of circuit training at the gym and have my meals planned out for the day. Yesterday was a good day. Hunger pangs didn't kick in. I think it helped that I was busy all day and really didn't have time to pine for a snack. I'm making a conscious effect to keep drinking water.

SO this has helped everyone....to weigh in everyday? I've been working on healthier options for about 2 months now and yes I am down but last 3 weeks has been a see saw on the scale. It frustrating as hell since it is a MAJOR mental breakthrough point for me as well (haven't been under 300 lbs in years and last 3 weeks I have went around 304-301 back to 303 to 301.2 to 301.8 (this is today's weight) etc.) Been clean eating and lots of water (which has never been a problem with me). Also running and lifting 3 times a week and heavy bag boxing 2-3 times a week. Both days between 600-800 calorie burns just from the workouts. Daily weigh ins I believe would drive me nuts. I noticed yesterday the next tighter notch on my belt needed and I feel better, just curious about this daily thing. Is it more for accountability daily?2

I'll definitely have a better round this time!
SW: 210
CW: 185.6
R11 SW: 193
R12 SW: 189.4 - lowest for R12 was 188
R13 SW: 189.8 - my lowest for R13 was 187.
R14 SW: 187 - lowest was 184.6
Goal for R15: I'm not sure what my starting weight for this round will be since I haven't weighed-in for a few days so I'll just say I'd like to lose 1.5 pounds
Day/Weight/Comment
8/31 - 185.6
9/01 - 185.6 Well at least I'm consistent. I'm surprised at this number because I feel super bloated and heavy. Plus, I didn't eat very good yesterday and didn't drink enough water. I totally expected to be 187 or so this morning. I'm excited to see the scale go down once I get rid of this water weight!
9/02 - 184! Umm what?! Well, happy birthday to me! I got on the scale totally thinking (in a snarky sarcastic voice)..."ok here we go..187"- insert eye roll too - my jaw hit the floor when I saw 184! I ate a calzone at 11:30 last night too so I was expecting a gain..but nope! And yes, I stepped back on that scale mutliple times to be sure! Hahahaha!! Let's hope it stays this way. I'm guessing not because we have some bday activities planned that involve food...so yeah.
9/03 - 185.6 I knew that I'd be higher today because we went to the a food festival for my bday and ate a lot! Good news is I got my 10,000 steps in yesterday...bad news is I feel so hung-over, not from alcohol but from the lack of water and all the carbs and sugar!
9/04 - 187.8 Ugh I gave myself way too much leeway with eating yesterday and didn't drink enough water. I wasn't even going to get on the scale. Lol! Here's to a better day! I'd love to see 184 again by the end of this challenge!
9/05 - 188.9 - Nooooo...definitely the wrong direction but it must be water weight because I certainly didn't eat very good over the weekend but I didn't eat enough to gain THAT much weight!
9/06 - 185.6 Much better! I drank a lot of water yesterday and stayed under my calorie and carb goal. This seems to be number of the week. 4 out of 7 days! Hahaha!
9/07 - 184 again! Whoohoo! Let's see if tomorrow will bring back 185.6. I'm hoping not!
9/08 - 184 - I was hoping to see a little loss but at least I didn't gain anything. I drank a lot of water yesterday, went over my protein goal, stayed under carbs but I didn't eat enough calories. I ate almost 1100 but with exercise I only net around 600. Not good but I didn't log until nighttime and definitely didn't want to eat much at that time because I knew it would likely throw the scale off. I'm trying to not eat after 8pm! Have a great day everyone! I enjoy reading all your comments ♡

People are doing so great! I'm jealous that so many are reaching their goals for this round. I definitely am not as far as weight, but I've been happy that I've been working out and have lost a pants size. Keep up the awesome work! Maybe next round I can join everyone else with an actual lb loss.
You'll get it! Keep on doing what you're doing and it'll happen! When you have less weight to lose it usually comes off much slower and is more difficult. Be proud of the work and commitment you're putting in!
P.s. per your weigh-in post - I totally gain water weight around my TOM and also mid-cycle!6 -
@junodog1 I hope everything works out and Irma misses you. How scary! Glad you're prepared though!4
