    My super sporadic heartbeat. Its been beating about 5x faster than normal every 20 seconds for the last hour or so. Makes me lose my breath. Odd. IDK, could've been all the rum i drank. Hmm...

    I think it really depends on what needs to be healed .

    Some pain dose heal over time and others never heal.

    Yeah, I have this feeling what I fell will never go away. It will be bandage over but it will still be there.

    I lost my father less than 2 months ago. He was my North Star. I've run a hundred in-the- future scenarios and there isn't a single one where I feel like this will be healed. Everything good that happens to me will be tainted by the fact that I don't have my best friend to share it with. But I do feel like with time you learn to live with the loss, like you numb to it so it's bearable. Similar to your band-aid analogy.
