I pretty much love all fruits, but which ones are better?

Whichever suits your goals. There's no particular food that's better or worse for weight loss. You have to consider your overall diet, not a single component. Some people prefer volume, some people prefer flavour, some people aim for certain vitamins...5

Whichever ones you like1

I prefer strawberries because you can have a lot of them and it's not very many calories. For example you can have a big bowl of strawberries versus one apple. To me it's a no-brainer.3

The ones you really like but would not overeat.1

I like a variety of fresh fruit (and variety helps balance the micronutrients), but berries are my favorite because they are so multi-functional, low in calories/sugar, and high in anti-oxidants. I freeze blueberrries and strawberries and throw them into smoothies, oatmeal, make fruit toppings to use instead of syrup, bake with them etc.2

The ones that fit your calories and other goals that you enjoy eating are the best.1

Watermelon! Full of nutrients without a lot of calories3

None. You lose weight when you consistently eat less (fewer calories than you burn). If fruit makes it easier for you to do that, eat fruit.
Now read up on nutrition from reliable sources. You may have to investigate how to detect unreliable sources.1 -
Fruit is like pokeman... you gotta eat them all.
I have about 5 or 6 servings a day, which include a combination of; apples, pineapple, mango, peaches, berries, and much more.7 -

Avocado.
No way. It doesn't take much for me to overeat avocado. I eat them like you would an apple. My only saving grace is that it's too expensive here so I rarely buy more than one fruit, if any.2 -
Funny you should ask about fruits. It is taken me a long time to incorporate more than one a day into my diet. I am loving fruits right now. I grew up with 2 older sisters. One was anorexic...the other had a weight problem as well as my mother. I can remember at age 6 being put on a "diet"...I look back on my pictures and I was normal weight. At age 12 we were all on the Atkins diet (I was 5'3 weighed about 115)....no fruit at the time. They were all trying to look like Twiggy. I still feel guilty eating FRUIT...not cookies, candy or cakes BUT FRUIT!!!! It has taken me years to realize fruit is my best friend when my blood sugar drops. When I really want to treat myself I buy beautiful sweet mangos and will have one as my afternoon snack. I can't believe when I weigh my blueberries and strawberries how little calories they have. Bananas were absolutely a forbidden fruit...my middle sister still will state in a negative condescending voice how full of sugar they are when she sees me eating one. She does not mention how high they are in potassium. My oldest sister probably has not had a fruit in 10 years. She is strictly meat, vegetables and ice cream. Anyways, all fruits are good and especially good when a cookie, chips or cake craving happens.5

Best fruits? Berries. And maybe 3/4 of a cup a day.
You want majority fats, moderate protein, and carbs below 30 grams a day.
You'll feel fuller, longer. You'll burn fat 24 hrs a day. And your overall health will improve dramatically.

Nonsense.10 -
I love apples cause they make me feel satisfied, I guess due to the fiber, and they average about 80 calories ish. Bananas for the same reason.
I keep clementines on hand for when I want something sweet and 'indulgent'. But really, I mean, fruit is fruit.
Oh, and grapes are supposedly really great frozen, but I have sensitive teeth so I haven't tried that.
I don't think you can go wrong, so long as you're eating balanced.2 -
Mind your macros and calories, make sure it fits and eat whichever fruits you like. There is no fruit that magically does anything other than any other type of food. Calories, and macronutrients for weight loss and body composition, micronutrients for everything else = the end. Anything else is woo.2

It depends. For me, none. It has been months since I have had fruit and that has contributed greatly to my success.
I don't know enough about you to answer for you.5 -

Why do people make such dietary prescriptions, as if they were right for everyone.
Some enjoy keto and do well on it. It's not something everyone should do.7 -
As to the question, no specific fruits are good and bad for weight loss.
Personally, I enjoy fruit and find it satisfies me quite well. I tend to enjoy mostly local fruits and more when they are in season (when anything is), so I'm eating mostly apples now (and blueberries, since I always seem to eat blueberries). I also recently bought some pears. I tend to eat lots of clementines in the winter, and lots of different fruits (peaches, plums, melons, all berries, but especially strawberries) when in season in the summer. I eat a lot more fruit in the summer than at other times.1 -

For me whichever ones are in season, on sale and fit within my calories for the day.3

In my experience "not much" fruit is best for weight loss, but I don't think it actually has anything to do with eating or not eating fruit. Jmho.0

It's true that you burn more fat, but it's not body fat.. it's stored fat. This will be shocking, but that who eat more fat, store more fat.. thence the increase in fat oxidation. Which means nothing without energy balance.5 -

Study ketogenics, it's all over YouTube, to understand what fruits may be best for you if the goal is weight loss. Fruits are high in fructose which can lead to retention of stored fats from your liver to your abdomen, butt, etc. . I prefer cherry tomatos, Kiwis, berries, lemons, pineapples, pomegranates, and grapefruits which burn fats. While fruits are healthy due to the vitamins, the fructose causes immediate increase in insulin. Meaning- burn that energy right off or turn it into more fat. Good luck achieving good health, that's what matters.26

The human body, untrained, has a storage capacity of 300 - 500g of glycogen.... more if you are training. One will not max out glycogen stores in a deficit, even on a high carb diet. Dietary fat is less metabolically taxing to store as body fat.
As cars are broken down into glucose, they are stored as glycogen or generally oxidized as for immediate energy. DNL overfeed studies would auggest that after days of overfeed, one can store some carbs but it generally 30% or less. This means most of what is stored is dietary fats.
Even more ironically, the healthiest and longest living cultures are all high carbs. Think about that for a bit.7 -
