    Goal weight: 120
    Current weight: 129.4
    This week's weight change: +1.8
    Total weight loss: 31.6

Slight gain due to pre birthday celebrations with extra sweets and salty foods. Leaving for our Halloween cruise tomorrow. I will be watching the carb intake but will also enjoy the great food and drinks. New pirate costume is packed and it feels good that this year I will not be the great pumpkin or frumpy witch.

    Happy Halloween everyone!

This weeks successes: Been lurking these last few weeks, pretty despondent at staying at around this weight and even put on 4lbs but realised tammierlewis and Miss MaggieMuffin are in the same boat so if they can keep on it so can I. Have upped the exercise and so far so good
This week's challenges: Be semi sensible on my treat day

@Toxtethogrady, yes you CAN keep at it! :)
Over the past few months while on this weight loss journey, the stall has happened to me a few times in spite of doing everything right. Others on this site have reminded me that the process is typically not linear and to keep at it! I weigh myself daily and have learned that the number moves around a couple of lbs from day to day but is trending downward!
And, I refuse to give up!

@rishelor Thanks! And welcome to the 52/52 Challenge! I have used it the past two years as a way to focus on a small attainable goal (pound a week) BUT I don't always win the Battle but definitely winning the War!

This week's successes: Stayed the same instead of gaining during a rough week of not keeping it green. My shoulder is a little better and I'm able to sleep uninterrupted and I'm off of the steroid dosing.
This week's challenges: The birthday lunch for a friend that was supposed to happen got pushed to this week. So I still have to deal with that.

    Goal weight: 175
    Last week weight: 191.4
    This week weight: 190.3
    This period loss: 1.1
    Total weight lost: 36.1

    This weeks successes:
My life has been utter chaos for the last few weeks. I have intended to post, but never seem to get much leisure time online. I am still on with this group. I am not likely going to make 52 pounds this year, but my weight loss is not lost!

I consider my success this period that I have not gained weight and actually lost a pound while eating very unstructured meals and while being surrounded by and consuming Halloween chocolate.

And in an update, I now have a granddaughter.

    This weekends challenges:

    Calm life down
    Practice interviewing
Drink drink drink - (water! I don't know what you people are thinking! )
    Stay in calorie limits
    Get a run in

I'd like to comment on everyone, but don't have the time. However I am glad to see familiar faces sticking with this and so pleased to see new ones join. Just hanging in hear means that you are on the track to success!

@jimb376mfp - We may have slowed down a bit but we are still progressing!

    @12774 - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

This week's successes: I successfully executed the birthday lunch with good choices and stayed away from the yeast rolls that the waiter placed at the table. Really happy with the big loss this week even though I know it's mostly water weight. It's weight off my joints and I can feel the difference already.
This week's challenges: The first challenge is today's trip to Charlotte for the Panthers game. It's a day trip that take all day. So I've packed my food carefully. The next challenge is bigger, going to be in Charlotte for a 3 day weekend next week for Monday Night Football. Day trips are easier to plan for than weekend trips. Vacation brain wants too take over. Vacation brain thinks it's a free pass on the “Plan”.

    Week 44

    Starting weight: 226.4
    Goal weight: 175
    Last week weight: 190.3
    This week weight: 190.0
    This period loss: 0.3
    Total weight lost: 36.4

    This weeks successes:
Since my last post at week forty three and a half life has calmed down a little. While I recognize that this is probably the calm before another big storm, I will take it while I can. I will continue to lose weight even though I am off the track for 52 pounds in 52 weeks. I am not complaining! This thread really has helped me stay focused and kept my accountability visible.

    This weekends challenges:
No big challenges but all things that have to be dealt with.
    • I have a radio interview tomorrow with the high school team I coach. I cannot get out of it. I don;t want the spotlight.
    • Wednesday I have a phone interview for a position I want.
    • I have a husband that wants to host Thanksgiving and my house is a disaster. I have to say yea or nay.

    I will:
    • Stay in calorie limits
    • Drink 64 oz + every day.
    • 10K steps a day
    • Get a run in

I am restarting my journey today by breaking my overall goal into smaller not quite so mini goals. I am working on a weight loss of 1 to 1.5 lbs a week. Hope it is okay that I am not joining at the beginning of the year.

    Starting Weight: 200.6lbs (Nov 1st)
    Goal Weight: 175lbs (first goal)
    Current Weight: 199.4lbs
    Total Weight Lost: 1.2lbs

This week's successes - Got started, lost a pound.
This week's challenges - Not sure yet, this week should be quiet but my own lack of discipline will likely be my greatest challenge.
