When you Skinny Sorts Nuts purchase Clear American beverage, it leaves less on the shelves for us to purchase. Half the time, I can't find it on the shelves. The major beverage makers won't make any diet beverage that taste good any more. the only other diet beverage that may be found on the shelves is Tab, but it is hard to find. I'd rather take my chances of dying from cancer after drinking 999,999,999 cans of Tab, than dying from Diabetes in a few years. I know, The World Is All About You!

If it were specifically ONLY for diabetics, you'd buy it in the pharmacy.
Ooh, the Golden Peach. So freaking yummy! In fact, this reminded me, I have one in my work fridge. Think I'll crack it open!
I do notice I will get headaches from the aspertame if I drink more than one per day.
I'm going to Walmart today (it's a rarity, I try to avoid them at all costs) and may have to check at least this flavor out0 -

Make sure to buy all of it so those with diabetes suffer (that is what this resurrection is about, isn't it?).9 -

Key Lime tastes exactly like Sprite to me. Not Diet Sprite...Sprite. I also like Fuji Apple and Mandarin Orange. Plus they are only 50 cents a liter!
ETA: Another note - I can't stand it in the cans. Only in plastic bottles.2 -

Found one that is Darth Vader shaped. The control lets you choose between the light side and the dark side. It just toasts the "Star Wars" logo text onto the toast though.

It sure has the same cadence. The "You IDIOTS" in the first sentence is a good indicator.
eta: And where on earth does he live where the only other diet option is TAB??5 -

This is one of the only flavors I've found that I like from this brand. Tastes like a dreamsicle.0 -
I agree with many of the above posts. Aspartame, in reasonable amounts, is harmless.
My problem is with my husband's daily use of ELEVEN packets of Sucralose (brand name Splenda) in ONE cup of coffee!! He had to have a kidney removed 2 years ago (benign tumor) and I worry about the one he has left. Sucralose is fine, in *reasonable amounts* but I think 11 packets at once is UNreasonable.
He clearly should give up coffee and just drink a Diet Coke (or a real one!) in the morning instead. About the same caffeine content in one. But - you know how husbands are. Can't nag them into good behavior3 -

DannieElise wrote: »LOL! I totally agree! It's so hard to keep up. That's why I was even questioning this water in the first place. Kinda funny that I even have to ask if WATER is okay to drink? Lol! I even read recently that "organic" isn't always what it seems....it's the kind of thing that will drive you crazy! I tried looking up some of the other ingredients on the water bottle and the explanations made my head swim. So I guess I'll just keeping on drinking it, but still make H2O as my first choice as much as possible. :drinker:
Please note that the article linked from Medline states:When all the research on aspartame, including evaluations in both the premarketing and postmarketing periods, is examined as a whole, it is clear that aspartame is safe, and there are no unresolved questions regarding its safety under conditions of intended use.
You're going to have to decide who to listen to: random Birkenstock wearers on the internet, academics who have actually researched the subject, or media quacks like "Drs" Mercola and Oz. Personally, I'll take real science over quackery any day - and none of the scientific evidence suggests aspartame is "poison" or "nasty stuff". Know what? None of us are getting out of this alive - and there's plenty of other things lined up behind whatever aspartame you ingest waiting to do you in.
My personal choice is to minimize aspartame and sucralose in my diet, and opt for items sweetened with stevia and monk fruit and erythritol. I like the Bai line of products, which are sweetened with a combination of stevia and erythritol. I usually have a Bai in the evening. I personally don't get gastric distress from erythritol, but other sugar alcohols do bother me.
Regarding "organic" -- it means whatever the person using it wants it to mean. The ingredients in your Clear Water all look pretty innocuous to me. I'd enjoy it and quit worrying.6
