Breakfast is usually just apples or grapes. I usually skip lunch and have an early dinner which is always steamed and raw vegetables with the occasional sweet potato or maybe I’ll just have oatmeal.
The attached photos are a variety of apples, and then spaghetti squash with tomato paste, steamed spinach and blanched mushrooms, and steamed greenbeans, zucchini and carrots on top of a bed of bean sprouts and a large dallop of tomato paste on top! I know it doesn’t look very flavorful, but I loved it!

It's at a local bakery in Vancouver called Purebread. They offer an insane selection of baked goods. That was the chocolate chip bar- so fudgey in the middle :)

That looks amazing! I love barley stew.

Made Sichuan eggplant for lunch...definitely one of my favourite Sichuan dishes...savoury, salty, spicy and of course the numbing Sichuan peppercorn!

Over steamed rice with fresh cilantro and spring onion. I could eat a ton.

Now traditionally one would fry (more blanch) the eggplant in oil as a first step...I steam in the bamboo steamer instead.

Homemade turnip cake with freshly grated radish. Less rice flour and more dried scallops than in restaurants :)9tkgv7yod13v.jpg

Today’s lunch. Salad with lettuce, cucumber, peppers, tomatoes, carrot, avocado and pomegranate seeds. Light lunch as having steak and home made chips for dinner tonight. vtqniu41u9hn.jpeg
