I use a Garmin Vivofit and that app averages weights.
Back in 1999-2000 when I last lost a bunch of weight, I used a spreadsheet to calculate it. The concept is definitely not new. It may not be for everyone, but it's definitely the way to go for me.

No weight loss this week. Had a couple not so good days and a couple that were pretty high in sodium. At least it's not a gain!3 -
I was sitting comfortably at the 165s, but this week, my weight has been slowly creeping up. Nothing has changed eating-wise, but it is my TOM, so I'm sure that's the culprit.
Original Starting Weight: 197.6 lbs.
November SW: 167.8 lbs.

Today was a hard day... i gave in and eat Ice cream a lot of ice cream.. it was too hot and i just couldnt take it.. hope it dosent ruin my week....0

Today was a hard day... i gave in and eat Ice cream a lot of ice cream.. it was too hot and i just couldnt take it.. hope it dosent ruin my week....
Slip ups will happen, just have to jump back into the healthy eating in the morning. 1 day won't have much of an impact unless you continue the unhealthy choices.
When I'm craving something sweet I like to have either a frozen tube of yogurt, I get chobani that's only 50cal, or I have a cup of frozen fruit, we keep blueberries strawberries peaches mangos and blackberries in the freezer with no sugar added. It taste delicious is low calorie and is a nice treat or snack.2 -

Losing weight this time around is a lot tougher. It is very slow, and I am walking each day and sticking with the diet. I am 63 years old. I am doing the same type of diet as I did last year.2 -

Just keep reminding yourself they are empty calories and do nothing good for your body. If you want some, try to make it only a bite or 2 and then eat a salad or something nutritious and low cal to help balance out the bad food.1 -
I'm seeing the number creating the wrong direction and honestly haven't been giving a *kitten* about what I eat. Time for that mindset to go away before I do some real damage.

Don't you hate when that 2 number rears its ugly head again? I know it's temporary for you, for me when I was there before, it irked me!
