12/1 167.4 I am feeling like a yo yo here. Lol
12/2 166.4 I haven't been drinking water or anything else hardly since Mom passed. I've been really pushing it the last 2 days. I feel like I've been living in the bathroom.
12/3 167.4 I think my body really likes this number. I see it a lot. I did a lot of walking yesterday. It's the Christmas season, and our kids need normalcy. So, we went on our towns Christmas Walk and took the kids to see Santa. Maybe tomorrow it'll be back down.
12/4 166.8 We went and picked out our Christmas tree. It's HUGE! We also went to the drive in and saw some classics: Home Alone and A Christmas Story. Good weekend with my family, but I did cry a few tears last night. I'm missing Mom.
12/5 166.4 I was crazy, busy at work yesterday. My students had me hopping. Then, my youngest son and I went out and picked out some toys for the Toys for Tots drive at both his school and my oldest son's school. We do this every year. It's for such a good cause.
12/6 166.4 Had a great day at work yesterday. I'm loving all these Christmas themed lessons, and so are the students. I went to a baby shower after work also for a co-worker. She's having a little girl any day now. I am also battling some kind of a cold or something. A lot of the teachers and students are sick. I hope it passes soon.
12/7 166 Put up my Christmas tree last night and all the decorations, and I have been pushing fluids like crazy.
12/8 164.6 I am just blown away...gobsmacked! I have been eating well, but I have been really pushing the fluids. I'm not one to drink very much, so this alone is a HUGE thing for me. I have always detested water, so that was also another hurdle for me to jump over. However, it's paying off!!!! I got to enjoy my daughter's Christmas concert for her Freshman year. (She plays the clarinet.) I also was able to discover this morning that I've reached not only my goal but a new low. I think I will do a little jig.

Like this number. No exercise this morning; so tired from working extra. My 2 wk. vacation was without pay since I am a part-time WAH employee. Spent more than I intended, so now I need 2 good weeks before Christmas. Will go back to exercise 3 times a week until after New Years!

I don't know how I missed logging in yesterday! I seem to remember doing it just as clearly as I am logging now; but, evidently, I did not! I've been running all day today and that's not good! For the past few days I have been very slack on my water. Vacation threw me off rhythm. But eventually, I'll get back in stride! Onward and downward!
I remember logging in yesterday also, and I even found a comment I made to someone on here. However, my own post didn't show up at all.
I just looked at my Friends list and apparently MFP has reinvented the alphabet. "C" now comes after "R."
Uh...I would be interested in knowing what alphabet they are using.
I wonder if they're trying to update their product. Sometimes glitches like that happen during the process.4 -

Day/Weight/Comment
11/29- 227.2 - non scale victory is staying within the daily calorie plan while also going to the movies with friends and not drinking a soda! Popcorn needs soda and I'm proud I just got water instead.
11/30 - 226.4 - NSV - after a few weeks of dealing with the happy/annoying fact that nothing fits anymore (it's good cause everything is too big, but nothing fitting right whether big or small sort of sucks), I went shopping for jeans. I wasn't sure if I'd lost enough cm to fit a size down, but I did! I'm officially a size 16 for the first time on 3 years and they were $16. So happy I don't have to pay $90 for jeans anymore. Great day
12/01 - 225.6 - NSV - started baking for Christmas, three different cookies so far, haven't eaten single one. Goal is to not eat any until the holiday break.
12/02 - 225.4 - NSV - exceeded my steps today by 4,000 but splurged on calories, which I'm ok with because it's only one day at my friend's wedding shower and also date night with my husband. Tomorrow's weigh in might be rough but still feeling good. Back on the wagon tomorrow.
12/03 - 227 - the scale isn't surprising, I ate twice my daily calories between cake, pizza, drinks etc., but it was expected. NSV is I had a good day, did my steps, made the right food choices and did my meal prep for the week, even though I was tired and didn't want to.
12/04 - 227.8 - NSV - another day of making my steps, making the right food choices and staying hydrated. The scale isn't surprising given Saturday, and you may laugh but I welcome the learning experience. I'm happy that I'm learning more about how my body responds to certain foods. It'll help me make more knowledge chocies regarding alcohol and treats, which is especially important going into the holiday party season. Hopefully tomorrow the scale will be better.
12/05 - 226.8 - looks like I'm adjusting back from my weekend chocies. NSV - didn't eat the lemon cake a coworker brought into work. I love cake so much lol, saving all my cake eating for the 25th. Mom's cakes so much better, worth the wait.
12/06 - 225.6 - NSV - not going through the drive thru after running errands after work like I would have done in the past. Went home and made a sandwich instead. It's harder to make the right choices when you're worn tired so I'm proud of that.
12/07 - 226 - NSV - did more Christmas baking today, didn't eat any of it.
12/08
That takes some will power to bake it and not eat it. I'm about to do some Christmas baking this week. I love baking in general, but especially around this time of year. I am doing a low carb mousse (cheesecake and chocolate), a pineapple whip, and a no bake low carb raspberry pie.4 -

12/2 - 220.8 this is good.... but..... as soon as I got home I started eating things that are a huge Nono. What is that about I am scared to death if the weekend...
12/3 -221.8- ugh weekend I do horrible!!!!!!
12/4 - 220.6 - now is the more structured time on the week that I can excel at if I keep my head in the right place!
12/5 -219.4 - holding my breath waiting for the bubble to burst.. omg I am losing!!!!
12/6 - 219
12/7 - 218.6 - I am doing it
12/8 – 218.4 – well not bad for a 10 day start and literally it was my first 10 days so I will take it and know that things will be going slower. THANK YOU for adding me on this and I want to do the next one10 -

My goal is to reach 10% body fat by year end... actually by 12/30 because that is when my Dexa is scheduled. I'm going to list weight and BF% based on my scale, which is going to fluctuate at times as diet changes. On some days - and I know when those are based on diet - it will be inaccurate.
Round 22:Day - Weight - BF% - Comment
11/9 - 149.6 lbs. - 16.8% - scale is reading higher than actual BF%
11/10 - 148.4 lbs. - 15.9% - scale is still higher than actual BF%, but getting closer to actual
11/11 - 147.2 lbs. - 16.9% - scale is higher than actual BF%, this time not expected
11/12 - 148.6 - 16.8% - scale is still showing higher than actual BF%, still not entirely expected. I have a theory as to what is driving the incorrectly high BF%.
11/13 - 148.6 lbs. - 18.5% - Yesterday was a re-feed / glycogen replenishment day. I'm surprised weight did not also increase, but expected BF% to be unreliable. I expect it to remain that way for the next 2-3 days.
11/14 - 147.2 lbs. - 16.4% - Depending on whether I eat a lot of fibrous green vegetables today, BF% will either stay pretty stable by tomorrow morning or will decrease. I may find it hard to feel full without lettuce or green beans... but since scale BF% is just artificially high if I eat them and real BF% is not truly much different, I'm probably going to eat greens if I'm hungry anyway.
11/15 - 146.4 - 15.6% - No veg yesterday, scale is closer to a correct BF%.
11/16 - 146.2 lbs. - 14.9% - No veg yesterday again, and BF% is almost right where I would expect Dexa to come up. The idea that eating low carb green / fibrous veggies would affect the scale BF% so much is a relatively new revelation. Thinking back, the last Dexa was 0.3% lower than the scale on that same day (that is extremely close); and my scale is ALWAYS higher than any other measurement method or device - including other bio-electric impedance devices, which are always super low. When that last Dexa was taken and it was almost the same as the scale, I had not eaten plants for 45 days prior (except coffee, tea, and small quantities of seasonings and sauces). I still plan to eat some low carb (net carb) fibrous veggies while I continue to strive for 10% BF by 12/30, but will do take breaks occasionally to get a better idea of where Dexa will come in.
11/17 - 147.8 lbs. - 13.9% - Slight weight increase, not sure why... probably water weight. Another day without veg and BF% is spot on as close as I'm going to get to being real. Tomorrow is going to be high again based on today's planned diet.
11/18- 146.0 lbs. - 15.4% - Did not expect weight to decrease, but expected reported BF% to rise.
Round 23:Day - Weight - BF% - Comment
11/19 - 145.8 lbs. - 13.5% - Did not expect BF% to drop this much this fast.
11/20 - 147.6 lbs. - 16.2% - Both increases were expected based on yesterday's food plan. Should see decrease over the next few days until Fri. morning, which will go back up again.
11/21 - 147.0 lbs. - 15.7% - Expected a small decrease. Expect another small decrease tomorrow.
11/22 - 146.6 lbs. - 15.3%
11/23 - 145.6 lbs. - 14.8% - Will be higher tomorrow.
11/24 - 147.2 lbs. - 14.4% - Did not expect BF to decrease, but maybe that is delayed...
11/25 - 145.8 lbs. - 15.2% - There is the delayed fat storage.
11/26 - 145.2 lbs. - 15.7% - Did not expect another rise in BF%, but I can only assume it is continued delayed fat build. Tomorrow will be higher probably of both weight and BF.
11/27 - 146.4 lbs. - 17.0% - Increases expected.
11/28 - 150.4 lbs. - 14.6% - Had a spontaneous free meal yesterday and paying for it with weight gain - meal itself was probably around 4-5 lbs., including water in food... so this is about right.
11/29 - 149.4 lbs. - 14.9% - For this round, I'm going to make a few changes. I'm not sure exactly what to expect at the beginning, but should have lower BF% by the end of the 10 days.
11/30 - 146.2 lbs. - 14.9%
12/1 - 144.4 lbs. - 14.7%
12/2 - 144.8 lbs. - 13.3% - I'm thinking this is about right again for BF%, but let's see if that holds for the next few days without changes that affect the scale calculation.
12/3 - 142.2 lbs. - 16.1% - BF definitely reading too high, but not sure why this time.
12/4 - 143.2 lbs. - 16.2% - Definitely unexpected BF... consistent with yesterday, but still incorrectly high. Unsure why.
12/5 - 140.4 lbs. - 14.9% - Some time in the bathroom this morning revealed what I think is causing the suddenly abnormally high BF% (no, not pregnant, lol). Solved part of the issue this morning, but still some to go.
12/6 - 140.2 lbs. - 12.9% - Before measuring today, spent a bit more time in the bathroom getting rid of more of what is causing the false high BF% readings.
12/7 - 141.4 lbs. - 13.1%
12/8 - 139.8 lbs. - 13.5% - I was expecting to start this round with some wonky numbers; but end up close to accurate and drastically improved weight and body fat %. Ended up losing 10.6 lbs.; about 3-4 lbs. of which was fat. I struggled in the first couple years of dieting where tracking calories didn't work and nobody could figure out why; but much learning and experimentation and I consider myself to know my body very well now and can call myself a very advanced dieter. That said, the 10% body fat goal by 12/30 is still going to be very difficult and a tight goal... but I believe it is possible.
*Next round will once again start with some high and wonky numbers at first and end up drastically better by the end.6 -

12/02 212.0 - I've been bouncing around a lot and possibly starting to stall out because I often don't have time to eat much (if at all) during the day so I'm too far under calories. Working on that this week.
12/03 213.2 - not surprised. No tracking so far this weekend.
12/04 214.0 - I need to get back to basics. Water and tracking. Now that I have a crazy job, I haven't been drinking water - need to do it.
12/05. 212.0 - better yesterday. Tracked everything.
12/06 211.6 - Hopefully I can squeak through to my goal over the next two days... so close!

I was not kind to my body during Thanksgiving week. Family visited the whole week so I really didn't work the plan. I'm back to running and lifting this week and it feels good.
Round 24 (3rd for me) Goal 169 - Goal met 12/1
Readjusted goal - 166.6
11/29 - 171.8
11/30 - 170.4 - YES! Back on track. Off to run a few miles and lift.
12/1 - 168.0 - Wow! I weighed myself twice just to be sure. I really think it's water weight. During Thanksgiving week I ate like crazy all week and my hands swelled so much that I couldn't get my rings off. And I really didn't drink water all week. I'm just glad to be back! I will be resetting my goal weight for this challenge round.
12/2 - 167.4 - Hard work pays off! Now to get through the weekend.
12/3 - 167.6 - Very pleased with today's results.
12/4 - Did not weigh
12/5 - 167.2
12/6 - 167.2 - Happy with today's weight. Need to push a little harder if I want to make my readjusted goal
12/7 - 167.6 - weighed this morning at 4:30 but forgot to post. I did treadmill, stair master and lifted weights today so I am hopeful about tomorrows weigh in.
12/8 - 166.2 - Woo Hoo!!!!! I did it. Met both my original goal and my readjusted goal. I've been working hard and it shows. Still a ways to go to hit my final goal but I'll get there.
5.4 pounds lost this round

11/29 223.5. I know holiday time is hard, so I'm trying to be kind with myself. I'm verifying today as a new start. I need to get back on track. I'm going to start keeping track of my exercise here as well. I do it in my food log, but if I'm putting it out there, maybe I'll actually do it in a regular basis! I've promised myself a new hair do when I make my first weight goal, so let's do this!
11/30 223.5 Exercised for 10 mins. yesterday. It's a start. Today I'm shooting for 20 mins.
12/01 223.5 Exercised for 20 mins. yesterday. Going to try to make it 30 mins. today. Drank 2 liters of water as well, but want to increase that to 3 today.
12/02 222.4 Going down! Only exercised for 5 mins. yesterday, and still only drank 2 liters of water. I was having a lot of fatigue, so just wanted to rest. Going to take a walk today for about an hour. Will increase water to 3 liters.
12/03 222.4 Took an hour long walk yesterday around town. Didn't quite manage 3 liters of water, but came close. I will take another long walk today, the weather is very nice right now! Thinking that my husband and I will also head to the archery range!
12/04 222.4 Took a 45 min walk in town. Went to the archery range with my husband. Did some shopping for him and visited the inlaws. Didn't get enough water, only about a little over a liter, and ate poorly all day. Still, was under calories so I will take it!
12/05 222.4 My husband and I did lots of running around yesterday, so didn't get any real exercise in. Water consumption was terrible. I ate pretty decent yesterday, so overall things were ok, but could have been better.
12/06 222.4 Still here. I'm struggling with getting exercise in on the days that I work. I have to remember even just five minutes is better than none. Water consumption was better, but not where it needed to be.
12/07 220.9 Whoa! That's quite the drop! Wasn't expecting that! Not sure I believe it, but I'll go with it. Hoping to make it stick!
12/08 220.9 YES! YES! Finally, it sticks! So happy to end this round on a new low for this challenge! Just a lb. to lose and I'll be in the teens again! New hair do, here I come!11 -

11/29 - 145.8 slow and steady! Ate within calories and had a green salad for lunch changing my goal for the round to 144. Need to have a bit of a push/goal for the round.
11/30 - 145.2 decent day yesterday. Went to the gym and ate within calories. A bit surprised I didn’t have some extra water retention but I’ll take it
12/01 -144.4 not sure where this came from, but ok. Maybe it’s my gym day showing up. Did some extra walking last night aka wandering/shopping at a huge craft sale so that also probably helped.
12/02 - 145.6 late weighing so this is probably out of whack. Had a dog competition all today and totally forgot this morning.
12/03 - 145.0 although I had a busy day yesterday we ended up going to the pub for dinner so I expect an increase over the next couple of days due to the beer and salt. Hopefully I didn’t completely derail things. More dog competition today so lots of movement at least.
12/04 - 146.2 Ugh! That must be Saturday night showing up. Hoping that goes away soon. Got lots of steps in from the dog competition. Also did pretty well for calorie intake as well. Went for the salad option for dinner hoping to make up for the pub on Saturday night.
12/05 - 146.6 Another rough day. I need a better plan for eating when friends want to go out to the pub. I want to hang out and I ate a small dinner before hand (in the hopes of saving calories and money) but I still felt obligated to order a drink and an appetizer which of course is sodium heavy with the limited pub menu. Oh well salad for lunch today and hopefully that will help put me back on track.
12/06 - 144.8 finally I think I got over my pub blunders. Green salad yesterday for lunch for the win! Very pleased with this number. Now to keep it up for the last couple of days of the challenge.
12/07 - 144.2 feeling back on track. Busy day yesterday and kept the calories in check. Salad again today and hopefully keep moving in the right direction.
12/08 - 144.6 a bit disappointed with this one. We had a goodbye coffee break yesterday for a coworker and I managed to avoid all the tasty treats despite the pressure from others to partake. Also had a salad for lunch so I’m a bit surprised by the upwards movement. However, I did lose a pound this challenge so the trend is definitely still going in the right direction. I’ll be in for the next round.7 -

Day/Weight/Comment
11/29 - 194 heh, I had a huge dinner last night and did weights at the gym. I'm surprised it isn't worse.
11/30 - 193.6 Cardio yesterday, did eat out again, but it was much more restrained.
12/01 - 193 Much lighter dinner last night.
12/02 - 192.6 I thought it'd be up because I did some weights yesterday. Might still be shedding some holiday bloat.
12/03 - 192.6 Had fun going out and doing a bunch of walking and some bike riding yesterday.
12/04 - 192.6 Had an unplanned large dinner last night, but holding.
12/05 - 192 Really trying to go low on food this week because this weekend has some major food days.
12/06 - 191.6 Back to where I was before Thanksgiving.
12/07 - 191.4 Fingers crossed for finishing this round off below 193, lol.
12/08 - 191.2 Starting tomorrow it is all parties through next week. At least I have a (so far) quiet week before Christmas to maybe recover.8 -

SW - 182.4 - March 2017
GW - SMASHED it in October and now I'm working on maintaining under 145
11/28 - 146.2 - I had a major sodium and muscle repair water weight jump to end round 23...rolling 7day average from my Garmin app was 143.5
Day/Weight/Comment
11/29 - 144.0 - Coming back down. Ate and hydrated well yesterday but was still really tight in my legs from that brutal workout on the weekend. Finally feeling back to normal today so might see how the trails in the bluffs are after this warm snap and take the dog for a run this morning.
11/30 - 142.8 - And it's back where it should be. So crazy how the scale weight can fluctuate so much when all I did was change how much sodium I consumed and did too many lunges.
12/01 - 141.2 - I keep settling back here even though I'm not trying to get this low. Ate around maintenance yesterday...or so I thought...pizza and beer helped get the kcals up.
12/02 - 142.8 - back at this number...that's ok!
12/03 - 143.2 - didn't get much water in yesterday.
12/04 - 143.8 - indulged a little bit over the weekend...back on track today
12/05 - 144.2 - bloated this morning...not doing well with the water intake lately. Cals were good yesterday...active day at work but I haven't gone for a run or picked up my kettlebells in a few days.
12/06 - 143.2 - not puffy this morning...
12/07 - 144.4 - put a lot of stuff in my gob I shouldn't have yesterday...pretty sure this is mainly excess carbs and sodium.
12/08 - 144.4 - steady freddy...Ending this round with a rolling 7 day average of 143.5...even more steady freddy, same as last round. If that's not maintenance I don't know what is.
See you all in the round 25 thread!!

Back again! I started midway through Round 2 at 153.9 on 4/29. For this round I'd like to get below and stay below 140. Started at 162 something back in early March so I'm down over 20 pounds but haven't lost in a couple of months. I am aiming to reach goal of 139 before New Years. It's been verrry slow the last couple months.
Day/Weight/Comment
11/28 142.6
11/29... 142.2 decent drop, headed to gym today. Think I need some lemon water and ellip I revised my goal to reach 139 before New Years. That's 3 pounds and I haven't been losing for some time so that and a goal of returning to very clean eating. Happy Losing, ya'll.
11/30.. 140.2 Some loss must have been from salt but happy nonetheless. Ellip today... salad and protein.
12/01... 140.2 no exercise yesterday except for mopping, Today, gym.
12/02... 142.6 water, for sure... had a great workout yesterday and some drinks last night.
12/03...142 so tired of being in this neighborhood
12/04... painted the family room on the 3rd and couldn't get to puter.
12/05...141 cleaning and moving furniture was my exercise the last few days. Today, gym
12/06... 141 hour on ellip....today gym
12/07...141.6 Had insane workout yesterday... muscles are probably holding onto water. Ellip today. Another round almost over - they are going by so fast - and still no difference on scale.
12/08...140.6 Hello, my old friend, I've come to visit you again. So sore after Wed's workout but heading back to gym today.9 -
12/8 107.4 pounds - did not make my goal weight of 107 pounds. Lost ~ 1/2 pound this round. There is still time to make my annual goal. Round 25!6 -

11/29 - 243.6 - My routine has been all kinds of out of whack the past few weeks. Today should be the return to normal, so I'm planning on getting back to my exercise and starting to eat better. I always draw such a hard line for myself and if I feel like I'm crossing it, then I just lose all self-control and go way overboard. Something I definitely need to work on!
11/30 - 243.4 - Meh. Trying to get myself together.
12/1 - 244.8 - Another day that was pretty good and then when I got home to the husband and kids, all progress was destroyed.
12/2 - 241.8 - I didn't eat well, but I got 12k steps and didn't have any late night snacks. I'm focusing on getting exercise for now, will work on food choices once I have that under control. But, yay progress!
12/3 - 243.4 - I spent 5+ hours baking Christmas cookies. Didn't track everything I ate and didn't get my exercise in. By the time I was finished, I was exhausted. Today will be better.
12/4 - 241.4 - Finally starting to turn it back around. Yesterday, I stayed within my calories, didn't snack at night, got my 10k steps and started running again. I decided I needed to start the C25K program again, so I got to that last night. I think when I was doing it last time, my foot pain was caused by not resting enough in between runs (I would do runs every day or two a day). This time I'm going to follow the plan exactly, even if I feel like I can do more. I don't want to endure that foot pain again!
12/5 - 245.2 - I got my 10k steps, but I didn't eat well. Yesterday was my day to not worry about food. Today I'm back at it and I'll be doing my second C25K run tonight.
12/6 - 243.2 - I got 10k steps again yesterday and did my second C25K run. Dinner wasn't great, but in the end my calories were in the green. I have decided to do the elliptical each day I'm not doing a run, to keep up the exercise.
12/7 - 243.6 - Ugh. Late night last night, didn't get a chance to exercise.
12/8 - 243.0 - I didn't track any of my food, but I did get over 10k steps and did my C25K run. I have been struggling now for almost a month. I need to get myself back under control.9 -

11/30 149 Under on calories and protein and over on carbs yesterday. At least 4 quarts of water. And I made my pathetic step count for the first time in a month!
12/01 148.5 Slightly under on calories but macros were right on! That doesn’t happen often!
12/02 149 Ate later than usual + salt. Met my pathetic step goal again, over calories by less than 100, macros right on.

12/07 150 I think I have a cold. I went to bed just after 9 last night and was wide awake at 2:30AM! It’s gonna be a long day!
12/08 147.5 I was just not hungry yesterday. I finally ate my leftovers from the day before. About 1/4 c beef and a lot of broccoli!

11/19: 165.0 Expected jump from parade day. Staged holiday parade in a.m. Gave myself day off from logging & to imbibe / eat whatever I wanted. Drank adult beverages, ate restaurant meal and treats at home. Totally worth it! Walked dog 2.83 miles in afternoon. Fitbit 14,794 steps, 250+ steps 9/14 hours and 19 floors.
11/20: 163.5 Net calories red 18, sodium red 647 (ack) but sugar green (yay), 12c water. Walked dog 3.26 miles. Fitbit 13,815 steps, 250+ steps 11/14 hours & 29 floors.

11/24: 162.5 Weight is big surprise day after Thanksgiving. A day off from logging adult beverages & food for me, and ate what I loved (just not as much), limited wine to one glass. Felt absolutely stuffed after dinner, can't eat like I used to, which is an excellent thing. Ate very small pieces of pie (couldn't resist apple & pumpkin) later for dessert and no supper, just ate hard boiled egg for late evening snack. As planned, walked dog 3 miles before travels (had 5 1/2 hours round trip in car) & drank plenty of water = 14c. Fitbit 10,102 steps, 250+ steps 5/14 hours (yikes, that was sedentary) & 5 floors.
11/25: 163.0 Net calories green (barely) & 12c water. Walked dog 4 miles & raked backyard for final time this year. Fitbit 17,908 steps, 250+ steps 10/14 hours & 46 floors.

11/30: 162.0 Happy hour w/ 1 pint beer & dinner at Mexican restaurant / net calories -810 (guestimated) and sodium sky high / 15c water. Walked dog 3.07 miles before work. Fitbit 13,444 steps, 250+ steps 13/14 hours & 38 floors.

11/29 - 140.0 - up a squidge, got ambushed by work on an already busy day yesterday: got stressed, no workout, ate 600 extra calories ABOVE MAINTENANCE at the end of the day. Working on being really sensible and sneaking in some extra calorie burning (stairs at work!) today.
11/30 - 139.4 - another tough day yesterday. No workout, to bed early, planning to get my mojo back on today.
12/1 - 138.6 - lowest in over a year! Under calories yesterday and 40 minute workout, elliptical plus stairclimber. Sweating helps my emotional state SO MUCH.
12/2 - 138.8 - under calories and ran 34 minutes yesterday. Think I am dehydrated, drink drink drink!
12/3 - 138.2 - yesterday under calories, ran 30 minutes, stairclimber. Still dehydrated, working on it.
12/4 - 138.6 - finally rehydrated - Yesterday under calories, ran FIVE MILES which is big for me now. Made the healthiest arugula pizza in the world.
12/5 - 138.4 - ate just under my .5 a week loss calories yesterday, 30 minute elliptical. Awake since 3:30AM, not sure what's up, there goes my plan to cut out my energy drink at work Have to be careful today, no time for a serious workout in the schedule -
12/6 - 139.0 - bounce expected. Under calories yesterday, no workout, good night's sleep! I need to watch that my end-of-day treat does not become so habitual that I can't do without it. A pattern of mine. I leave room in the calories and that's good but the habit part is a red flag for me, I ate it last night even though I wasn't hungry at all.
12/7 - 138.0 - There's the drop. Yesterday ran 3.3 miles, under calories.
12/8 - 137.0 - Yesterday WELL under calories, NO NIGHT TIME SWEET TREAT, and a killer workout. Woot woot finish strong! Can't wait for next round!
This round - Start = 140.0 * Ave = 138.6 * Min = 137.0 * End 137.06 -
Over the last 10 Days, there was a dip and then a little rise, but overall still finishing lower than I started. Slow progress is still progress. Ready for the next 10!

I've decided that I am going to eat at maintenance/refeed for 2/7 days a week, which is why I am going to start using my average weight. I want to offset hormonal changes that occur when losing weight for extended periods of time that can make it harder to lose and maintain weight and I'm hoping to alleviate potential emotional stress of constantly being in a deficit.

11/29--222.2 Still bouncing up and down. Need to mentally stick with it and not let the number on the scale derail my efforts.
11/30--221.1 Went out after work and had a couple of drinks, which I rarely ever do. Got home and fell asleep at 7 without eating any dinner. Feeling a little foggy this morning, I don't expect to get much done at work today.
12/01--222.6 My manager's retirement lunch was yesterday, so between extra sodium from lunch and the fact that I barely drank anything yesterday, this bump in weight was totally expected.
12/02--221.5 Up and down. Getting back to plan. Eating at maintenance today. Going hiking today.
12/03--223.5 Ate at maintenance yesterday. Going to kettlebell today.
12/04--223.6 Ate at maintenance yesterday.
12/05--221.5 Lost the water weight from eating at maintenance this past weekend. Finished W5D2.

12/07--220.9 Nice to see that my trend is going back down. Going to kettlebell today.
12/08--222.0 Ate a little too many cookies yesterday and now the water retention is showing.
Average Weight 221.9
This round has taught me how my eating is really affected by the dreary days of winter and how much more difficult it is for me to stay focused during this time of the year. We'll see how the next round goes and then I'll figure out whether trying to lose the weight now is worth it for me or whether I should just take a diet break for the rest of the year.7 -
Jan 1 2017 226... I'm 5'6"
Started R6 @ 177.1
First Goal: 170 ✔️
Next Goal: 159 ✔️
Next Goal: Hit a healthy BMI 154.4'ish... Hit it once, now to make it solid!!
End of R23 155.4
11/29 - 155.4 ... (16,300 steps) Slept well, packed my lunch, but not sure what dinner plans will be.
11/30 - 154.5 ... (14.790 steps) So my Grandmother passed away this morning, she was almost 95. I remember her laugh the most, she was always so happy to see us, always in a good mood. She had dementia the last 10 years or so and her quality of life wasn't very good lately. I hadn't seen her in some time, but would often think of her. I will miss her.... I love you Grandma xoxo.
12/1 - 156.5... Too many sweets with tea and a little stress. Not really worried.
12/2 - 157.7
12/3 - 160.7
12/4 - 160.3 ... Yesterday I did my first ever 5k race. I ran it in 36:49, I'm pretty happy with that number as I kinda stopped training for the run. It's a fun run called the Cinnamon Bun Fun Run and they give you a Cinnamon bun after the race, So good. I shared it with SO, who loves them (and me). I ate over cals for the last few days due to Grandma and wanted to give my body a few extras for the race. SO leaves for work in a couple days, I'll be better at cutting then. Need to see those 5's again.
12/5 - 160.9 ... Ugggh but I still feel in control.
12/6 - 159.6 ... Sick, up all night, so tired. SO left this morning, hope back in 2 weeks.
12/7 - 160.1 ... Feeling better. Not even close to step goal, but killed it on sleep hours (over 9 hours!!)
12/8 - 158.2 ... I like these 5's. I use Trend Weight and this morning it told me I would reach my goal (9.5 lbs) September 30 2051.... 2051? Well I'd better change some stuff up? But this weekend has me travelling and shopping and some holiday fun.5 -

Round 24
Day/Weight/Comment
11/29 - 223.4
11/30 - 223.4
12/01 - 224.2--- Treatment day yesterday, which meant "big food day" to keep meds from upsetting my stomach. I was too exhausted to cook but, nobody said I had to eat Zaxby's, nibble on chips, nor eat candy all evening .
12/02 - 223.8
12/03 - Sidetracked this morning and did not weigh.
12/04 - 223.4 this morning, then I spent 3+ hours in the yard getting up LEAVES. Everyone else"s leaves blow in my yard and sit there. Jumped on the scale out of curiosity when I came in the house and saw 221.8 . We all know the deal though---refueling and hydrating will land me back at 223.4
12/05 - 222.4---My yard had me sore and exhausted so, I wasn't very hungry yesterday at dinnertime.
12/06 - 223.2----up and down, up and down
12/07 - 222.6
12/08 - 222.4 -- 1.8 lb. lost this round.
Once you see results, it becomes an addiction.6 -
R24Start :: 182.6
Day/Weight/Comment
11/29 :: 182.6 - Need to focus on drinking more water today and not succumbing to all the things people keep bringing into the office
11/30 :: 182.1 - Drank more water yesterday than I have been lately which felt good. Skipped my usual frou-frou coffee this morning from Starbucks and surprisingly don't feel "deprived" which is a major victory for me. Gotta keep this up!
12/01 :: No Scale - Traveling for job interview. Hoping to stay on track but I tend to make bad choices when I'm traveling...
12/02 :: Didn't Weigh - Bit of a rough morning. Ate very crappily yesterday and really feel it this morning. Let's see if I can get back on track today
12/03 :: Didn't Weigh - Could have weighed this morning but chose not to, pretty sure it was because I'm scared of what it's going to tell me... Doesn't help that we finally got a stand mixer and the husband decided he wanted to make chocolate chip cookies...
12/04 :: 184.3 - UGH... yep, pretty much what I thought. Back to work today though so the schedule should help this week... Hoping I can get closer to where I started by the end of this round.
12/05 :: 182.8 - Hopefully this is from being extra careful with my intake yesterday and going to try not to screw it up today
12/06 :: 180.6 - Totally was not expecting to see this!!! Although I know I didn’t eat quite as much yesterday this is probably just some water weight since I’ve been upping my intake, but still very nice to see!
12/07 :: 180.1 - Nice to it still going down, would be really awesome to end this round under 180!!
12/08 :: 179.0 - WOOHOO!! Nice to be able to end this round like this!! Hopefully the weekend doesn’t screw me up too much; just have to be cognizant of what I’m eating this weekend.
Round Loss :: -3.6 *** Total Loss :: -20.0
R24End :: 179.0 ~ Average :: 181.6
I’m calling this round a win! Excited for round 25!7 -
Goal 140 and then pause; UGW 130 (no rush)
R24 goal 148 (if I can hold steady through Dec, I'll be content with that!)
5'3", 64 yrs.
Weight 2/2016 - 218
Lost 68#, regained 12 (to 156) on metabolism reset 11/16-6/17.
R15 end weight 151.2
R16 end weight 151.4
R17 end weight 151
R18 end weight 150.4
R19 end weight 149.6
R20 end weight 149.3
R21 end weight 149
R22 end weight 148
R23 end weight 148.4
11/29 - 148.8
This is no surprise as I feel puffy and seem to be retaining everything. Hoping for a drop in a day or two. We're going out for lunch, but I plan to drink lots of water and stay within my calorie limits. All is well.
11/30 - 148.6
Patience, she said. Patience.
12/01 - 148.6
12/02 - 148.8
Well, I don't get it. I've been within my goals. Thinking maybe it's time for a bigger calorie day to shake things loose. OTOH, I bought some new pants in a smaller size, so there's that.
12/03 - 149
Expected - I ate about 400 extra calories yesterday and am probably retaining some water (and food!).
12/04 - 149
I have a cold and have taken Nyquil a couple of times at night. I think I'm retaining water (although it seems like it's all coming out my nose!). There's also the delay factor from Saturday's extra food. I'll just hang tight for a while. I'd like at least to finish not higher than last round!
12/05 - 148.6
OK! Maybe I can finish this round lower than the last one after all. As long as I'm headed in the right direction, it's all good.
12/06 - 148.8
I wouldn't say I'm on a binge but I am eating a cranberry scone and enjoying it.
12/07 - 149
Well, the cranberry scone morning splurge turned into a day of intentional and willful eating, not a binge and no real junk (except maybe that scone!), but a series of decisions to go ahead and eat more than I usually do. Baguette & butter with my soup (about double what I'd usually eat), a cinnamon raisin English muffin with almond butter (mmmm!), and later a whole wheat English muffin with peanutbutter (mmmmm!) - both nut butters nuts only, so healthful despite amount (that's my story and I'm sticking to it). That's fine, I haven't done this in a long time and for some reason I needed to snarf carbs & fat. Back on track today. We'll see what that stupid measuring device says in the morning.
12/08 - 149.2
Okay, I've had my little fling. I was within my calories yesterday, so this is the time lag from my day of crazy. Next round!
