Nah, you've got some English thrown in there so you're probably good. :D

Nonsense. How are people going to improve if no one ever corrects them? I think they misunderstand doing it out of spite vs. doing it to make sure people can better themselves. :P

agree!! I've told Teacups I love her correcting me, as far as I'm concerned its self-improvement.

Kinda funny so I'll mention it again...I was writing (and still do) does as 'dose' and 'dosen't'...a friend at work mentioned it to me and I never realized I was doing it...I just didn't see it until someone told me!

Now I'm aware and I notice it! Self improvement!!

Honestly, I don't mind if someone is decent about explaining the right way to spell. But, some people are just right rude about it. Kind of like the anonymity gives the the ability to do things they otherwise wouldn't.

At the same time, I think it shouldn't be a flaggable offense to offer up constructive criticism on spelling or grammar. So long as it's done appropriately.

Self improvement is beneficial for everyone. :)

Also, I can't spell restaurant to save my life without the help of spell check and I am usually pretty rigid on my spelling.

Well yes, then there are those people. I don't know about others, but I tend to be a little more secretive/discreet about correcting people because I have had several friends and family members (myself included) who had dyslexia or some other form of learning disability which affected them. Wouldn't want to humiliate or completely trounce upon someone for a simple spelling error.

    People can be fragile.

Can I like this 100 times...funny what others don't realize ...we are not all functioning the same...be emphatic...you don't have to have these struggles but know they are out there
