Started at 301 pounds on January 19th, 2017. I am now in the 190s. I don't know my exact weight, haven't stepped on the scale in a while. So about 11 months? I workout (walking, dancing) and just count my calories440 -
Started exactly 348 days ago at 320lbs. I'm somewhere in the 220's today. I walk a lot and log every calorie. Not exactly a success story yet, but I have a feeling in another year I will be.224

Ladies.....keep it going! Don't quit. Push through the disappointments and frustrations. They are going to happen. FOR SURE! We are all human. We are all going to do stupid things. Things that are counter-productive. In 20 years from now, God willing, who cares. Don't worry about it. Just keep on doing whatever y'all have been doing.
@katieemeeks - 40.5lbs down......when you are ready to share go for it. Make TN proud! Dominate the next three months....you have killed it the last five!!!!
@getoffin1year - excuse me? Not a success story? You look amazing. Cant wait to see in three months!23 -

THIS. Own it. You worked hard for that!! It's very impressive and didn't happen without a lot of hard work.12 -
I haven’t been on the success stories for aaaages and this is the first thread I open and Omge all of you guys left me shocked! You all are doing terrific! You get mad respect even if you feel you are not there yet! Please please keep trying as you are sooo inspiring most people would feel its pretty pointless to even try but you guys give all of us, no matter what our goals are, a ton of hope and crazy motivation.

Love this thread. Such inspiration. How many calories were you allowing yourself and what did you do to feel full? Right now I'm sitting around 2k and still feeling some hunger pangs (could be the Christmas goodie season though...)13

What worked for me was eating frequently. I always eat when I'm hungry - I just make better choices. I knew I wouldn't get far if I was hungry all the time. I'm the lady at work with two lunch boxes full of snacks
BTW my calorie allotment was around 1650-1900 throughout my journey since it changed as I lost weight. As mentioned above, I am 6'1". I started MFP set to sedentary and 2lbs loss/week. Now I have it set to lightly active and 1.5 lbs/week and my cal goal is 1820. I say find what works for you. I realized I didn't like trying to eat less than 1700 calories, so I didn't. I feel for you shorter ladies trying to eat 1200 calories. Mad respect.25
