I am focused and i am going to push myself to get to my goal for this challenge ! I know it might mean me losing 2 pounds a week but i can get it done !
Congrats to Team Teal for being the winners this week ! We are doing so wonderful Team Teal !
I am going to go ahead and put a challenge up here i hope the other 2 girls dont mind .

Put me down for a maintain. I've hit a plateau. Been about the same for 3 weeks now. :( I thought maybe I was eating too much so I was extra careful this week and nope, no loss.

I need some suggestions on how to bust this plateau. I run 3-4 days per week, weight train 2 days and bicycle on those days. Saturday is a wild card exercise day. Sometimes I run, others I do zumba. I plan on upping my weight training to 3 days and I'm going to try zig zagging cals since I know that has busted other people's plateaus. What else can I do?.

i sent you a message about the zig zagging...i'll copy and paste it here in case anyone else is interested...i also included a link to the spreadsheet i use on google docs....

__________________________________________________________________________________________________okay here is what i did....i set up the freedieting.com table with 0 exercise and chose the middle column, i think regular fat loss...then i eat most of my exercise cals (i wear a HRM so i know my true burn, i feel like that website obviously has to estimate based on what you tell them you are planning on doing)...anyway for example see below....

it has me set up for a total of 10235 calories over the 7 days divided up like this
    mon 1403, tues 1543, wed 1400, thurs 1403, fri 1683, sat 1400, sun 1403
these are the net calories i should end up with by the end of the day....

so for instance: thurs i have 1403 cals to net plus i burned 817 cals at the gym so i had to eat 2220 cals to get the 1403 net...does that make sense???

another example: tues i have 1543 cals to net but i dont have any exercise planned so i just eat the 1543 for that day

i set up on MFP my daily calorie goal as 1462 since that is the daily average of 10,235/7...so at the end of the week i should break even if i hit my days right...but 5 days on MFP will show me over (in the red) and 2 days will show me under (in the green) but by the end of the week it averages all out creating the zig zag over the course of the week to jump start your metabolism....i'm back at it this week full on (less my 2 slip ups when i binged on monday and tuesday nights) but i'm trying to balance out the rest of the week and be a little lower than my net for those days to maybe make the mess at the beginning of week work out.....let me know if you need more info....also here is a link to a sample spreadsheet i keep on google docs to help me track the zig zagging...it helps me "SEE" what i'm doing - i'm a numbers girl....

So I'm finally getting on the computer and making my little chart instead of replying from my phone! I've had a rough week. My husband started a new work schedule where he's working 12 days straight on, then 2 days off. We're only on day 7 and it has already been really hard on me. I'm grateful he gets to come home every night, but he usually just comes home, eats dinner, then falls asleep around 8:30 in front of the TV :ohwell: I'll admit, today I've been feeling very lonely and frustrated with the situation and ate my feelings. Guess what? I don't feel ANY better! But tomorrow is a new day, and I'm really hoping I can come back from today and have a good loss next Sunday (my birthday!) Hope you all have an amazing week! Especially my beautiful BLUE TEAM!!!!! ....... Sorry for the rant!

I'm really at a complete loss this week. Up exactly two pounds. I'm not sure how it is even physically possible. If we play by the numbers, I should've been down .9 lbs. I'm trying really hard not to get crazy about this but it's about to make me flip my wig. All I can think is that because I've upped my strength training that I'm retaining water.
So Team Green, you can feel free to kick me off the team because I am going to be a major weak link until I get this banana figured out.
