Still trying to shed that vacation weight! Didn't help that my husband was home all last week finishing his vacation, so lots more drinking together and snacking! So, I'm down a little, but not much. At least it's going in the right direction....0 -

Starting Weight: 268.2
Goal Weight: 256
7/04: 268.2
7/11: 268.2 Still trying to lose some extra water weight, but I don't report gains, only losses. I WILL hit my Labor Day goal! GO TEAM PURPLE!!!
7/18: 268.2 Last week I was technically up to 274 up 6lbs from my start weigh, but this week I'm down to 270! Glad to have lost 4 of those water weight lbs. Not counting it as a loss though since I didn't count the gain so I'll say it's another week of maintaining. Hoping for a great loss next week.

Well.....After a DISASTER of a week, I managed to lose the 3 lbs I gained last week and only came out losing those 3 lbs and staying the same I believe for this challenge. I weighed in this morning at 226.1 :frown: But I'm very glad I didn't keep those 3 lbs...I was working my butt off to get those off. So....live and learn, stop punishing myself and move forward! I'm gonna do some serious kicking for next week. Lets go GREEN team!!! :happy:0

My favorite BB recipe
Flours Famous Banana Bread from Runners World
1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar, plus 2 tablespoons sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 1/2 bananas, very ripe, mashed
2 tablespoons low-fat sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
2/3 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift together first four ingredients. Beat sugar and eggs with a whisk until light and fluffy. Drizzle in oil. Add bananas, sour cream, and vanilla. Fold in flour mixture and nuts. Pour batter into a buttered 9" x 4" loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Makes 12 servings. *Lower-fat version: Reduce oil to 1/4 cup, add 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce (260 calories, 9 grams of fat).
