I confess the SNES Classic I am getting from a co-worker is going to be my Christmas present to myself, not my nephews (well, their dad did get one for them so I don't feel so bad).

I confess that in the same way there's a "photochop" thread here, I kinda want to start a sketch thread, but (and here's the kicker), I'm afraid of the 5,000 "Woo"s I might receive as well as the the thought that people here might start giving me *kitten* over it because it has nothing to do with diet or fitness, it offends them in some way or they just plain don't like me and make *kitten* comments about my ability.

I just think it would keep me in practice and ultimately help me in my longterm goal of establishing a small business doing arts/crafts/commissions for people.

I also struggle on how I could keep people interested in the thread or how they could participate. Wouldn't want to be exclusionary or anything.

I like the idea. If you don't want to start a thread I think there is an art thread. I wouldn't be able to participate because I'm not very artsy but I've admired your sketches and knitting and general nerdiness from afar

See, I want others to be involved though. Just can't figure out how to do it outside of the art thread. Like a "You Think It, I'll Draw It". A bunch of people just suggesting whatever they want to see drawn. Though, I bet I'll end up with some really bizarre suggestions if I do that. :D

    Also, thank you.

Oh I didn't realize you'd be taking requests!! If this comes to fruition I'd like to have on record I'm requesting a bearded dragon dressed as a matador riding a piece of cheese through space

That's an amazing suggestion. Maybe I could open up the request thread with this. :D
I confess that I find oodles of mfp women super hot and wanna touch all their hineys.

At least you're honest about it, lol.

It depends on who's wooing. Some people use it as a good thing. Others use it as an oh shut the *kitten* up woo. You never know.

There's a certain faction of MFP users, obnoxiously referred to as "the veterans" (LOL). Most of them don't venture into Chit Chat. They love to gang up on new posters and use the stupid word woo in response to any comment that dares to venture into discussion about anything other than CICO as pertaining to weight loss in the boring diet and exercise forum rooms. When the mods told them to stop, they stomped, pouted and whined. To appease them, and give a subtle nod to their smug confidence, laboratory internships and post graduate dissertations, the mods decided to create an ambiguous and anonymous woo button. Turns out, from a PR perspective, it was a genius move. MFP woo culture accommodates everyone and maintains a certain mystique that keeps everyone slightly off kilter in a very quirky way.

    You make my heart smile

I need your general ability to form thoughts into coherent things today

I confess I don't think I have been to a party where I got to take home anything besides the consequences of my bad decisions.

I used to watch a lot of sports. These days I don't care about them at all.

    What changed?

Not sure, just seems like more wasted time than anything and so much energy can go into them, then you are either crushed or elated by something that really has no effect on your life.

IC: I post on Twitter about celebrities who shouldn't be famous just to watch their sheep freak out. I've had some hilarious comments posted back. I imagine their keyboard or phone covered in tears as they furiously punch the keys.

I remember liking KISS when I was young but listening to their music now, its just awful. I understand their cultural significance but music is bad.
