Ugh. Agreed.0 -
Rice cakes and Twinkies were the first thing that came to my mind. Also most gummy candy.
I've never heard of or tasted liquor filled chocolates.0 -

I try to make one of Alton Brown's fruitcakes every year. There's one on the counter right now that I made last week. It's awesome. Those store-bought bricks dotted with nasty neon green excuses for cherries should be banned.1 -

i don't htink so. don't tell anyone, but i have occasionally knitted socks for american friends and i might have *cough cough* included some smarties with them. carefully removed from the box and bundled into a baggie so they won't rattle the way socks would not.
the reactions have never given me the slightest impression youse guys have met with 'our' smarties before.

How about Moxie? Never had it until a local pizza place started carrying it a few years ago. That was my first and last Moxie.1

Unless the Canadian version has cocaine or toys embedded in them, I don't think you need to hide that you are shipping them into the states.2 -

they don't :P but i think the issue is more: it might take your border folks seventeen weeks to decide that. that's what the canada post dude told me, so i decided not to find out the hard way if it was true.

Wow!! Sorry to offend your kitchen. But seriously, if I'm eating anything and notice bits of mushroom, I pick out as many as I possibly can.
Also mushroom flavored stuff leaves a taste in my mouth, and a feeling in my stomach a long while after.
Anyway, you enjoy!!2
