Back at work today after the festive break and I got a compliment from a colleague about my weight loss11

Just looking at my 'life spreadsheet' and the figures for my exercises for the year are quite shiny. I have:
Swam over 200 miles
Played squash x75
Gone for a run x45
Combat class x28
Pump class x45
StrongLifts in gym x66 sessions (I miss a few here and there cos of life stuff)
Pilates x21
I have averaged 8.83 hours a week of activity
scale shows me up 8lbs from holidays. However, NSV is that even if my logging was atrocious (don't think it was too inaccurate) I could double my excess and still it only comes to around a 3lb gain - so am going with the fact some is water weight and I will officially weigh in next week to give me a better idea of true 'damage'. Feel very chill about the whole thing!26 -
Blew my own expectations in 2017 and walked not 1200+ miles in my 1k mile run/walk/crawl challenge.

I bought a pair of size 16 jeans for the first time in over 7 years. I started in April at 20/22W and I still can't believe I can wear pants without a "W" in the size.37

Just turned down cupcakes and brownies. I work in a school so this happens pretty regularly, even so, it can still be hard sometimes. But I did it, and I'll keep doing it. Just glad the kiddos still think of me30

I've been able to take photos of my face and self and feel fine about them. No special angles or make-up needed.21

Back in the gym today. 45 minute Fitness Fusion class and then 5 miles on the recumbent bike in 20 minutes. Was -15 this morning so biking outside has to wait awhile. We might get up to 32F on Sunday.17

I’ve comitted to tracking macros the entire month of Jan and I’m not stressed about it! I’m excited for the month of “recalibration”14

Completed C25K W4D2 and continued until I completed 5k. 46 minutes. One of my goals this year is to participate in my first 5K before I turn 60 in Nov. Well, there is a run on March 31 in my neighborhood, that I am signing up for. I may not run it all, but I know I can finish it!22

I have been wearing my size 14 jeans from when they were too tight til now having to wear a belt to keep them up about 30 lbs later. I decided I deserved some new jeans, and I looked forward to hopefully finding size 10s that fit. I came home with well-fitting size 8 in TWO different brands, and a third brand (Lee) was too loose in 8! Size. Eight. Was. Too. Big. A fourth brand was still snug and I know there's a lot of vanity sizing, but hey, my 14s were probably vanity sized, too.
I'm aware sizes have shifted and gotten larger, but I don't recall ever wearing size 8, possibly I did when I was 13 or 14. (I seem to remember size 10 when I was 15-16.) I'm 48.34 -

My NSV is that I started this process in February 2016 and here I am today, still eager to continue and learning more about myself every single day. I like me as it turns out.36

W3D2 of c25k. My goal was to sit around 9Km/h for my jogging intervals. Dropped to 8.8 a couple times but managed to kick it back up to over 9. Even got up to 9.9 at one stage. There was a lot of breath catching going on, but I did it.
@tammierlewis well done!!! Week 4 scares the bejeezus out of me! I was actually meant to do it the week of Christmas but one thing led to another and well I didn't get out at all that week. So this week I started week 3 again to wean ack inti it.8 -

Finding and loving a hobby that has been worth sticking around for and it isn’t centered around food.
Edit: it is my NSV because, in a way, it has helped fill in the void of ‘mindless eating.”28 -
My Frye boots fit comfortably over my calves and my size 16 gap jeans fit (down from a 24). And the best one is that my lululemon winter coat fits again!!! Bye bye North Face.22

Well done, Cheryl! You are an inspiration!

Joined a gym last Thursday and have gone every single day since! A year ago I wouldn’t have believed you if you told me I’d actually enjoy getting up at 5:00 am to go the gym. This morning I woke up at like 4:15 ready to go and then realized I could sleep another 45 minutes so made myself go back to sleep, lol!31
