    While I would have liked to have reached my goal weight by the end of the year, I am so very happy with the changes over the past 50 weeks. When I think back to my state of mind this time last year - fed up with my weight gain and general appearance - I am so happy to be where I am now. A few more pounds to go but I know I will get there.

    Congratulations! I see you and I are on track to make our GW IN 2018!

    I have used this Challenge for past two years to get me to GW. My first THREE years (2013-2015) were all losses but I needed to refocus my effort on a weekly basis. This Challenge helped me to do just that.

    A pound a week at age 69 has been a challenge that I could strive for every week.

    Still hovering between those 4 pounds, up and down like q yo-yo so just haven't bothered logging in. Will up the exercise to see if that helps. Will this continue or is there a new thread for 2018? Can someone advise and if relevant point me in the right direction please?

    I Ate a lotttttt in past 2days. 31st night & today was crazy ! Stuffed my face with sweets like there's no tomorrow.. :angry:

    This years successes:
    31.7 pounds lost this year. I haven't been able to figure out the BBC code to make the text larger, but if I could this would be posted in huge letters! I slowed way down in August. Basically stopped since October, but I kept it mostly off! What a great year!

    Thanks to everyone in this thread who has stuck together thru the year. I'm looking forward to 2018!

    We both got to Onederland this year! We will make GW in 2018!

    I have NOT LOST 52# But I did lose 37# and 43# in the past two years. This Challenge has kept me FOCUSED!

    @Jimb376mfp, 52 lbs were lost last year, I hope that it does not take me 52 weeks to lose the last 15-20 lbs before my final goal.
    I'm on board!
    Starting weight 194.4lbs
    Goal weight 175lbs
    Goal date June 30th.

    My plan:-
    Continue daily logging. Day streak is now 1963
    Go to the gym 3-5 days a week
    Cut down on snacking
    Eat 3-5 fruits/vege daily.
    Drink 6-8 glasses of water daily. No sodas, juices or alcohol.

    With 12 inches of snow yesterday, we could not get the sno thro to start so back to the good ole snow shovels. We cleared ours in 3 segments over 2.5 hours. My muscles are achy today. Will not be going to the gym this week because my car is blocked in with the snow. A little rain will be welcome. In the meantime, I am going to use my treadmill and do some exercises on YouTube while listening to Pandora.

    FYI The 2017 Challenge ended 12/31/17!
    I reposted same Challenge with 2018 Date and it’s getting good participation.

    My regular WW WI Day was Thursday but VA got hit by Blizzard and cold. I plan to WI and post on Saturday.

    My exercise routine has been turned upside down. Pool closure for repairs and weather has me on a funk.
