Starting Weight: 160 January 1(I actually started my journey in September. I was 175 and lost 19 pounds...I got to 156. Yes, I gained four pounds over the holidays. I am once again completely focused on my goal. I have 30 pounds to go...

    Goal Weight: 130

My goals are clean eating...no sugar or processed foods. I don't eat fast food so that is easy. I am a carb junkie so that is my greatest challenge.

You are tackling two very hard battles at once. Get lots of celery, carrots, radish all that stuff that's next to free foods. You can do it.

    Jimb376
Wow you sure came a long way almost at goal. Goes to say Never to late to get healthy.

As for me still with it. Doing more staying off the puter somewhat more. Need to get out of my comfort zone more. All that see this repeat after me. I believe, I can I will.

    See you all lighter.

This week's successes: Didn't binge even though I had the house to myself all week! Stayed under my calorie goals and logged everything. I also hit my weight loss goal for January (6 lbs) but I'll only really consider it a success if I keep it off by the end of the month.

This week's challenges: This past week was extremely stressful and upsetting. This next week's challenges will be continuing to deal with the stress and emotional strain of a particular situation going on without eating my emotions.

I did not join this challenge, but going to follow this group. Everytime I join a group I fail. So I'm going to try my way. Looks like everyone is doing a great job.

Well I’m sure everyone will still cheer you on regardless and sometimes it’s that we put to much pressure on ourselves to live up to an imagined standard

    Greetings:

I lost 14 lbs on a BLC last year and have gained it back. I'm here because I wanted to try a different approach to self motivation. A little about me: 58 years old; was athletic and fit most of my life, but have packed on the pounds in the last 10 years. My job can be a bit stressful sometimes and I work about 50 hours a week. I have a nice life with my husband and 2 German Shepherds (no kids), but would like to feel fit and strong again.

    Starting weight: 238
    Goal weight: 160
    Current weight: 237
    Total weight lost: 1 lb
This week's successes: eating more protein and kale
This week's challenges: a strained Achilles tendon --getting better, but putting a pause on my cardio

I've joined a couple more formal challenges this year - Hogwarts challenge, Fat2Fit challenge, etc - but figured it would be nice to have a year-long, easy-going challenge where I can just drop in once a week and post my progress, without having to keep track of heaps of threads and groups and all.

Looking forward to seeing the progress over the long term! <3

    Starting weight: 223.5 lbs
    Goal weight: 150 lbs
    Current weight: 221 lbs
    Total weight lost: 2.5 lbs
This week's successes: Been doing amazing with my step goals, 10k+ every day so far!
This week's challenges: Once I start eating, I keep wanting more, more, more. But I'm also perfectly able to not eat for several hours at all, so it's a bit weird and I'm not sure how to handle it yet.

I did not join this challenge, but going to follow this group. Everytime I join a group I fail. So I'm going to try my way. Looks like everyone is doing a great job.

I've always been the same way. But then I think- well, I can't succeed if I give up! Following the group might be a great start though! There are a few challenges and groups I checked out several times before I decided to join. Some I decided just weren't for me, others I've given a shot. In any case, I'm sure everyone here will be supportive :) Best of luck to you in your goals!
