DAYS WITHOUT SWEET SNACKS: 4/9
I love all things sweet....that is my downfall!
So to be able to walk past the 'table of fair game' at work and ignore the gooey chocolate cake and chocolate sweets was a biggie. Usually I cave in at about 3.30pm but today I held strong and ate an apple3 -

It would definitely be chocolate for me too, my dear father in law just bought a Cadbury selection box round, as if there aren't enough choccies and biccies left over from Christmas! Bless him, have thoroughly cleaned and flossed teeth so they will not be going in me!!!2

I'm in. every day I eat well. every night I ruin it. Do we motivate each other during the evening, like 8-11pm?3

Hy-Vee has a store brand Cheddar and Sour Cream potato chip. Not only is it the best, it is the cheapest! They have them on sale for 3/$5 frequently, and sometimes only 99 cents a bag. I ate them with cheddar cheese every night. I bought I jar of polish dills to cure the salt cravings when it gets really rough.1 -

Anything that is easily accessible and has carbohydrates, fats, and/or sugar. I don't believe I've ever eaten an apple or a carrot for a LNS.

Days without a sugary treat: 10
Had a good no added sugar treat for dessert before my LNS cutoff. Greek yogurt with dates, cacao nibs, and unsweetened cocoa powder. Chocolatey and just sweet enough. I know dates are high in natural sugar content but they have nutrition, too, and I never have more than two in a day.3 -

Although I did eat at 1am, it was planned because I didn’t get home from work until 12:30. Stayed under calorie goal too4 -

Worse still snack turned into a binge. Time to log it and move onto tomorrow.3
