I fell on the ice (well actually I was petting a dog and it knocked me over ) but anyway the dog-owner/my coworker gave me his hand to pull me up and I actually LET HIM. Idk about y'all but when I was 300+ pounds I would just laugh when people would try to help me up.32

And you are so light that the dog knocked you over with ease! High 5!
Hope you did not get hurt by the way.10 -
I stopped drinking beer (and all booze) two weeks ago. I quit to make weight loss easier, but it's also just made my life better overall. My brain works better, I'm less depressed, and I'm more motivated to get up and start my day every morning. Now I'm the weirdo with the glass of water at the pub with my friends, but it's totally worth it. Don't think I'll pick it back up again, even when I reach my goal weight.31

Good for you! I like to get a club soda with lime when I’m out. It feels slightly more festive, and if anyone notices and is of the type to question it, they think I’m drinking a mixed drink.

10.5(ish) km last night and I maintained a steady pace the entire time. I think I've finally figured out what an easy pace is for me! (The splits that are slower are the ones where I was stuck waiting for traffic).

Tonic water with lemon or lime for me. Not only do others assume it is a mixed drink, my taste buds seem to as well and don’t feel deprived or start craving other drinks.9 -
I typically suffer via, Seasonal Affective Disorder {SAD}; every winter but thus far, this season; I've been normal/depression free!32

That is a great idea, I need to do that2 -
I got my first compliment about losing weight from outside my family today!22

Went to the cinema today, usually I would grab a soda, chocolate and some popcorn. All my friends had stuff. I had some cashews in my bag.... I ate a handful of those instead. Was very impressed with myself. Additionally yesterday I went out to eat with the boyfriend and some of his friends, I didn’t drink any alcohol (I am normally the first one to crack open the wine!) and stuck with water! Go me!!!!29

My brother in law tagged me to help him move the heavy scaffolding cuz he knew I could keep up w/him22

Exactly. My only issue with tonic water is that it actually has calories. Which I didn’t realize at first. :-/

First Half Marathon - finished with a 9:06/mile pace. I've been running a little over a year and have completed two Ragnars and several 5ks with decent times while placing for my age group in a couple (neighborhood runs that the experienced runners skipped on lol). Excited because this race marks the half way point our Ultimate goal in 2.5 months - Skidway Marathon.19

@GOT_Obsessed I use Strava to track my runs.2 -
Going to a favourite restaurant and ordering a healthy option and not feeling deprived! I'm slowing training myself to like healthy food.15

Oh ok, thanks!0 -
I made pasta and sauce for supper. I served myself a small portion and just as I was about to pull out the garlic bread I grabbed the yellow beans instead!10

My prescription sunglasses, which I wear all the time outside have been loose & a few days ago they wouldn't stay on. I had to get them tightened.18

Oh man, this one felt good! Waiting to deadlift behind two young guys who are newish. They were doing the typical young guy thing of competing with each other to lift as heavy as they could instead of focusing on lifting correctly. I almost said something to one of them about not pulling with his back, but someone else said something before I could. They left all their weights on the bar and wandered off to the dumbbell racks, and I noticed, hey, happy accident, the weight they have left on the bar is exactly my warm up set weight! So I step in and start doing my warm up set, and in the mirror I can see the one guy do a double-take and say something to his friend.
As it happens, my husband was doing wrist exercises right next to them and reports that what was said was, "Wow, look at that!" And the friend replied, "Yeah, I've seen her in here before."
So then I got to load more weight on and that was even more fun to watch the reaction! Not a good lifting day for me, my knee is out of alignment so I stopped 25 lbs short of what I was doing last time, but I managed to impress someone anyway!
Also: incline bench press more than 100 lbs for the first time! 105 lbs for 5 reps.40 -
Just for today - looked back to check on one of my New Year's resolutions (to stay under my calorie goal for the first 100 days of 2018)
Am not doing too badly so far - only blew one day.
Yay, me.
85 days to go!25 -
I had to cancel my gym membership when I left my job in July. I have since re-trained and start a new job in a few weeks so have today got a free 3 day pass to check out a new gym. I have been walking a lot to keep up my cardio but am really looking forward to getting back to resistance work. I may even hit the free weights in the testosterone zone!13

Better food choices and started running again. I have a long way to go but I'm proud I've made a good start this time.11

Hit the lowest low, celebrated with fried chicken. It fit my calories but I'm up two pounds today.
My NSV is knowing that it's most likely just sodium retention and not freaking out about the scale.33 -
My mom suggested my dad (who's nearly 90 pounds lighter than me and generally in good health) start joining me on my runs after he retires. My dad looked at her and said without hesitation "No way! You realize he's a runner, right?"
I was taken aback for a second or two, but appreciated the comment for the compliment it was intended to be. I may not be the fastest runner, but I definitely consider myself one!39 -
