01/01: 162.5 Expected: New Year's Eve splurged with hubby on special treats all evening long and did not log food or beverages. I'm sure net calories were horrendously red. Totally worth it!

And now it's out of my system.

01/02: 163.0 Very sedentary day: car round trip 3 1/2 hours & niece's bday party, plus my lower back hurting. Net calories red & 10c water.
01/03: 162.0 No treadmill since lower back still hurting. Net calories red 18, sodium & sugar both green, 14c water. Fitbit 7,577 steps, 250+ steps 12/14 hours & 30 floors.
01/04: 161.5 Tried an easy walk on treadmill 2 miles / 37:42, then my back stiffened up again. Reminder to self: don't overdo. Net calories, sodium & sugar (fresh orange juice & Activia yogurt) red but not horrible. 14c water. Fitbit 12,659 steps, 250+ steps 14/14 (boom!) hours & 35 floors.
01/05: 159.5 Little surprised, it was food day at work for coworker with Christmas bday, but I was very picky about what I ate & had very small portions, ate healthy rest of day. Guestimated & logged best I could. 13c water (not sure, kinda lost count). Not doing treadmill until my back doesn't twinge when I wake up, almost there! Fitbit 8,453 steps, 250+ steps 13/14 hours & 29 floors.
01/06: 159.0 Another surprise since I binged a little on mixed nuts in evening, but maybe 16c water helped. No treadmill, but lots stairs breaks at work. Fitbit 7,851 steps, 250+ steps 12/14 hours, 26 floors. Massage in evening did wonders for my lower back.
01/07: 159.0 Finally walked on treadmill again, didn't push & felt great. 3 miles / 54:13. Fitbit 10,574 steps, 250+ steps 9/14 hours (lazy Sat.) & 29 floors. Net calories & sodium green, sugar red (fresh oj & chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream) & 14c water. Not bad round, considering. Happy to end 1-5-anything.

01/08: 159.5 Net calories, sodium & sugar all red...ack! 14c water. Fitbit 8,010 steps, 250+ steps 11/14 hours & 16 floors.
01/09: 159.5 Net calories & sodium green, sugar red (some leftover Christmas goodies) & 15c water. Walked treadmill 3 miles before work / 51:06. Fitbit 15,090 steps, 250+ steps 14/14 (boom!) hours & 41 floors.

01/11: 158.5 Happy hour after work and, surprise! Salad appealed...think my body is sick of rich, high cal foods since Christmas. Didn't even change my mind when friends ordered perch plate with french fries, which I love. Enjoyed 1 pint beer. Not sure of log accuracy / net calories red 22 & 15c water. Treadmill 3 miles before work / 50:13. Fitbit 13,015 steps, 250+ steps 14/14 hours (boom! 3 days in a row!) & 34 floors.
01/12: 158.5 Net calories, sodium & sugar all red...ack! At least fiber was good & 15 c water. Active evening packing up Christmas decorations and nativities collection, still not done by half. Fitbit 11,451 steps, 250+ steps 13/14 hours & 38 floors.
01/13: 157.0 Yesterday evening, walked in Frenzy on the Fox 5K (paved trail, plowed & salted) in 47:26 pace 15:19 per mile. Very happy with my time, wore layers of clothes in 10 degrees & NNW 12 mph wind, fun event. Nice change from treadmill. Fitbit 15,158 steps, 250+ steps 13/14 hours & 40 floors. Net calories, sodium & sugar red, but not by much, and 17c water.
01/14: 157.5 Hubby and I sampled our way through Sam's Club / fast food for supper, first time in several months. Net calories, sodium & sugar red & 10c water. Non-treadmill day / Fitbit 10,001 steps, 250+ steps 9/14 hours & 12 floors. A little Wii bowling for first time in months.
01/15: 157.5 Sedentary day: in car 3 hrs, church/baptism, family visit/lunch. Food guestimated: net calories red, sodium & sugar green & 12c water. Fitbit 3,689 steps, 250+ steps 6/14 hours & 6 floors.

My mom bought me a new accurate scale I will update later when she brings it home. I'm back from blood sugar testing for diabetes. I took Ativan for anxiety last night and I still feel weak.

But it's gonna be ok cuz I'm feeling a little better and I weigh less than I thought at doctors scale.

I just stumbled across this board and I’m buzzing to throw myself into the next round! I am very inspired by everyone’s progress and I look forward to keeping you all updated on my progress.

I rejoined MFP for like the 200th time on the 1st of Jan and here is my progress so far (I’ll summarise the last 16 days:

All time heaviest: 133.35kg/294lbs

01/01: Weighed in at 130.2kg/287.04lbs

I spent the last 16 days mealprepping, drinking 2/3litres of water, working at a calorie deficit and trying my best to work out. I have been very strict with myself and I’m starting to get somewhere but I am extremely determined to smash this weight loss this time around.

16/01: Weighed in at 123.6kg/272.5lbs – Happy with the 6.6kg/14.54lbs loss overall and buzzing to keep pushing myself.

1/10 - 173.6 Hit 10,000 steps by day's end. Didn't get all my water in but there's always tomorrow

1/12 – 172.6 Up .8. Not surprising. Had a Chicken quesadilla with salsa and sour cream for lunch. Meant
to only eat half. Next thing I knew the whole thing was "in my belly". Date night tonight
with hubby. Need to really watch what I eat (and drink).

01/10 - 158.2 ... Hooray a 5. Went on 2 walks, ate about 1500 calories and had a good sleep.

At my cardiology appointment on 1/17/17, the cardiologist said I HAD NOT had a heart attack (my PCP had scared the crap out of me 4 months earlier by suggesting that, and it took 4 months to get in, get tests, and get results. During that time I did eat with reckless abandon and gained 15#) At any rate, I was 174.5 on 1/17/17.

1/8 - 135.2 - bounce richly deserved, bad food/fitness day yesterday. However, did treat myself to a Fitbit Charge 2 and make high protein granola (lentils, the secret weapon)
1/9 - 134.0 - 35 min crosstrainer hard, testing the HRM on my new Charge2 which did well. WAY under calories as I am deeply suspicious of the burn reported!
1/10 - 134.0 - Yesterday, walk at lunch hour and did reps in the stairwell a few times, under calories.
Enjoying the floors and steps and move every hour tracking on the new device.
Slept badly though, accepting that I am still in a down/negative place about issues with daughter...
1/11 - 133.2 - Yesterday exhausted and sore throat. Drank tea and rested after work. A little over calories. Taking a couple hours this morning to get my wheels back under me before going to work.
1/12 - 133.4 - Yesterday laid low, got 12 hours of sleep. Over calories on carbs though, comfort food. Gonna try work in a bit.
1/13 - 133.8 - Yesterday didn't stay at work long, harder to stop overeating when I am at home and feeling crappy. Today gonna try a walk at least.
1/14 - 133.6 - Yesterday walked up into a local park on the hill (47 floors, says fitbit, they don't call my town Deep Valley for nothing) and even ran the mile back home. Felt so good to get out and I am bouncing back.
1/15 - 132.4 - NEW LOW! Yesterday 3.25 mile run with a handful of "sprint" bursts, glutes a little sore from that and all that climbing Saturday. Super happy to see this number. Today I'm off, so long run.

Holding steady! I’ve been getting back to the gym for a couple of weeks now, and I’m hoping to start a new workout program tomorrow. I’m excited, but also nervous because I haven’t been feeling too great (baaaad PMS). Staying positive though!

Back in after an extended holiday hiatus. Had a great time with friends, family, and fooood! Less than 3 pound holiday gain, so not too shabby. Well worth the slight setback.

1/10: 147.6 Relieved that most of the holiday gain seems to be water weight and not actual damage.
1/11: 147.6 Relieved that yesterday's number was real.

1/12: 146.8 Woo-hoo! Holiday gain is gone and then some.

1/13: 148.2 Boing! Dinner and wine with friends. Water retention to be sure.
1/14: 148.2 Boo! It'll be gone in a couple days so no worries.
1/15: 148.2 7- and 10-day averages are the lowest yet. No complaints!

Of course I'm in for this next round. I'll be going back to work on Monday after two weeks off for the holiday.

Start Weight: 202 lbs
Finished Round 27 at 161.8 lbs.
Round 28: 161.6 lbs.
GW: 160.6 lbs.
UGW: 125 lbs.

01/08: 161.6 I lost 2 oz in 4 days even with biking. That's okay though. A loss is a loss, and I'll take it. My weight loss is starting to slow down now. On the bright side, I went from a size 18 to a size 12 in pants.

01/09: 162.2 So, it was my first day back to work since Christmas break, and I am off for the rest of the week. This lady has the flu.

01/10: 161.6 Happy Birthday to everyone that I saw is having one this week.

I'm hanging in, but feel blah.
01/11: 160.4 So, I don't know if I mentioned this, but my oldest son started middle school last year. He has been bullied non-stop for a year and a half. By bullied, I mean punched, kicked, lunch stolen and dumped out, slammed into lockers so his braces broke, sax stomped on 6 different times by the same kid and broke, and people telling him that they hoped his Grandma with cancer died, which you all know she did pass before Thanksgiving. The HUGE decision I made last week was whether or not to transfer him. Well, my husband and I decided to, and the last 3 days I haven't seen a single tear. He has been happy. I am grateful and hope it stays the course. On another note, I still hurt everywhere and feel not so hot, but my number dropped. That was with me hitting my calories right on the nose, and drinking 52 oz of liquid despite being sick.
1/12: 158.6 I have continued to push fluids and eat despite not wanting to do either. We also had a lot of freezing rain, so my kiddos schools are closed and mine is too. On side note, I haven't seen a number this low since I was pregnant with my first child back in 2003 and gained it to get to that number. Lol
1/13: 159.4 I managed to keep food down yesterday. I'm hoping the near is in sight now. I'm also hoping that the 50's hold. I've longed to see this number, and these last few pounds have been wanting to stay with me for awhile.
1/14 158.8 Started on some Zpack yesterday. Got sick while already sick. Ugh. The medicine doesn't agree with my stomach either. One day at a time though. I'll get there.

1/15: 158 I think I may survive.

No work for me today. School is closed due to snow. This is the 3rd closing since Christmas break.
1/16: 159 Still fighting this cough, body aches, and congestion. However, I managed to go to work and teach my students PLUS stay after to tutor today. I'm so relieved I made it through the day.
