Goal for this round: I expect things to slow down this time since I can't ride my bike every day now that vacation is over, so I'm going with 171 as my goal.

1/9= 173.4 Tried a 30-min Express Circuit training at Planet Fitness yesterday for the first time. Also did 40 min of cardio on treadmill and arc trainer. 10k+ steps.
1/10= 173.6 Hoping for a loss tomorrow. Things have slowed down since I’m not riding my bike everyday. Ready for spring!
1/11= 172.0 Hoping to ride my bike today after work. High of around 65 here! Yay!
1/12= 171.8
1/13= no scales available today. Hubby is in the hospital, so probably won’t have one available tomorrow either. Will have to work on making healthy choices in the hospital cafeteria. You’d think they would be easy to find in a hospital, but they absolutely are not! No wonder half the staff here is way overweight.
1/14=172, but that was AFTER I had had coffee, eaten breakfast at the hospital and went home to shower. Hair was wet because I didn’t think about it until after I got out.
1/15= no scales today, but we are home tonight, so I’ll be weighing in tomorrow morning!

Im in. I didn't finish the last round because I guess I'm a bum, lol! Just couldn't stay motivated. Hopefully I'm turning a corner. I was actually sick for two weeks, first flu then a bad sinus cold. I just wasn't mentally into doing what I was supposed to do.

Well, I'm lower than the weight I started with but still 4 pounds off my lowest weight. What this month has taught me is that I don't stress eat anymore, I stress drink I swapped one vice for the other and neither is healthy. Haven't drank in a few days and eating is on point, so I think I've found my happy place... I'll meet y'all there next round!16 -

1/15…..165….so discouraged. Kept 10 pounds off for nearly 1 year and I have now gained ½ of it back. I didn’t think I had changed my eating habits recently but obviously I must have. I hope that at least some of this is water weight, but time will tell. I also saw that my last post that was a couple days ago was for today. I wish I was at 162 today.

1/8 216.3 It's my birthday!! Hoping to not over indulge too much, but I know there will be some! My mother wants to take me to lunch and my husband and son want to go out to dinner, so will need to make good choices today. Or not, and not beat myself up about it tomorrow!
1/9 217.8 Yep, I knew it! So much sodium! And other not so good things, like cupcakes. Time to drink lots of water and Exercise!
1/10 217.8 Ok, time to get my act together! Water was good yesterday, but food choices were still bad! New day, back to making good food choices! I've got this!
1/11 217.8 Still working on it, did ok with my water and got some exercise in yesterday. Just need to continue with making good choices and exercising.
1/12 216.9 Ok, so I have to be honest, I weighed myself 3 different times and got three different numbers. I went with the middle number for recording proposes.
1/13 216.9 This was the one and only number that came up this morning. I'm still up from the start of this challenge, but only by 0.6, so not upset by that, especially since my eating has not been the best. And there are still four days to go!
1/14 216.9 Ate better, did a bit of exercise, but need to drink more water. Today is a new day.
1/15 216.9 Family get-together yesterday, could have eaten better, for sure. Also did not get my water in! I will do better today.
1/16 216.9 This cold weather is killing me! All I want to do is curl up and read! Not to mention my sleep has been really bad the last two nights. Needless to say my motivation is low. I'm trying to be kind with myself and remind myself that you can come back from a 0.6 gain.
1/17 216.9 Well, a small gain this round, and I can't say I don't know why. I need to get my motivation back, but it's hard when I have so much fatigue and it's so cold out.8 -

01/08: 161.6 I lost 2 oz in 4 days even with biking. That's okay though. A loss is a loss, and I'll take it. My weight loss is starting to slow down now. On the bright side, I went from a size 18 to a size 12 in pants.
01/09: 162.2 So, it was my first day back to work since Christmas break, and I am off for the rest of the week. This lady has the flu.
01/10: 161.6 Happy Birthday to everyone that I saw is having one this week. I'm hanging in, but feel blah.
01/11: 160.4 So, I don't know if I mentioned this, but my oldest son started middle school last year. He has been bullied non-stop for a year and a half. By bullied, I mean punched, kicked, lunch stolen and dumped out, slammed into lockers so his braces broke, sax stomped on 6 different times by the same kid and broke, and people telling him that they hoped his Grandma with cancer died, which you all know she did pass before Thanksgiving. The HUGE decision I made last week was whether or not to transfer him. Well, my husband and I decided to, and the last 3 days I haven't seen a single tear. He has been happy. I am grateful and hope it stays the course. On another note, I still hurt everywhere and feel not so hot, but my number dropped. That was with me hitting my calories right on the nose, and drinking 52 oz of liquid despite being sick.
1/12: 158.6 I have continued to push fluids and eat despite not wanting to do either. We also had a lot of freezing rain, so my kiddos schools are closed and mine is too. On side note, I haven't seen a number this low since I was pregnant with my first child back in 2003 and gained it to get to that number. Lol
1/13: 159.4 I managed to keep food down yesterday. I'm hoping the near is in sight now. I'm also hoping that the 50's hold. I've longed to see this number, and these last few pounds have been wanting to stay with me for awhile.
1/14 158.8 Started on some Zpack yesterday. Got sick while already sick. Ugh. The medicine doesn't agree with my stomach either. One day at a time though. I'll get there.
1/15: 158 I think I may survive. No work for me today. School is closed due to snow. This is the 3rd closing since Christmas break.
1/16: 159 Still fighting this cough, body aches, and congestion. However, I managed to go to work and teach my students PLUS stay after to tutor today. I'm so relieved I made it through the day.
1/17 161 Well, I more than met my goal weight, but I gained it back with what I believe is just water retention and sodium. I haven't drank much the last few days, and my youngest son had a McDonald's night for his grade last night as a fundraiser. I had cheeseburgers and fries, something I haven't eaten in months but felt was well deserved. I also threw in some mini 3 musketeers, which I also don't usually eat. All in all, I was 4 oz off my final loss. Not too bad.

01/09 - 235.8 lbs. Had dinner last night at Brown Socials House and had 2 tacos and fries. So happy about this.
01/10 - 234.2 lbs. Nice little drop! walked 12 k steps and joining the gym today so will make it easier to get the steps in now that its -20C outside!
01/11 - 234.6 lbs. little jump up but not unexpected. Ate within cal and did some weight training.
01/12 - 234.2 lbs. Dropped that bit from yesterday. Now to get past it.
01/13 - 234.0 lbs. Hit my 10 k steps yesterday. Scale is slowly creeping downward.
01/14 - 236.0 lbs. Self sabotaged. oops. Binged and had too much salt.
01/15 - 234.2 lbs. Oh this old number again. Good thing the sabotage from yesterday wasn't too bad.
01/16 - 233.0 lbs Oof FINALLY past 234. That took longer than expected.
01/17 - 233.2 lbs. Went for a run yesterday, but no weight training and I am still up? Arg.10 -

01/11 -139--I ate dinner later than usual and then about 830-9pm had an Atkins bar. I was under calories, but not going to eat after 6 anymore...new habit to be formed. I was disappointed in gaining 2 lbs...oh well, I am sure it will come back off within a few days.

01/15 -138-Had Atkin's bars 1 1/2 after 8pm.
01/16 -138 Well, this is discouraging. I was way under calories and I exercised quite a bit. .That is it...NO MORE FOOD after 6 PM....This is the only thing that I can see. I had an Atkin's shake after 830pm...only 100 calories. That is it...NO MORE FOOD after 6 PM....Guess I will have to work on that now. LOL!!
01/17-138 OKay...guess I have to do another round of 10 days....I didn't eat after 6pm last night and I woke up and did early morning workouts...This is my new routine...exercise, eat breakfast and practice my guitar...and no eating after 6pm....Also, I am on day 15 without alcohol...NEW LIFE and so happy!!!12 -

1/9 - 177.9 – under cals, 10 glasses of water, 20mins yoga.. definitely wrong direction, but since I count everything I guess I just have to be patient.. I bought a new scale so let’s see what ll happen tomorrow!
1/10 - 177.7 - so my new scale was gentle with me.. cals on point, water on point, yoga on point.. keep going..
1/11 - 177 - Happy about that! Although I really want to see 175 again..
1/12 - 175.7 - Yay!! I keep thinking how frustrated I would be if I didn’t weigh in daily.. I d see a 0.2 drop in 5 days.. but now I m over the moon!
1/13 - 175 - I’ll have 1-2 drinks tonight, I’ll try to fit it to my calorie goal, but I don’t know what to expect tomorrow!
1/14 - 174.4 - I love this number! Did well yesterday, just a glass of white wine, but didn’t get enough sleep and I feel dehydrated ..

Weight loss of 0.7 pounds. That seems like so little after eating 1200 calories plus exercise calories. It might be because I have been doing Body Pump class for the first time this month, using muscles I've never used before. I've heard that it is common to gain weight when starting a new workout routine. Is this true? Also,I am doing more elliptical minutes than I have in the past. My size is definitely a little bit smaller as I can tell by how my clothing is fitting.7 -

Round 28 I don't mind admitting that the holidays knocked me sideways and I am still a little sideways. This round, work with my new fitness tracker and get my mojo back.
1/8 - 135.2 - bounce richly deserved, bad food/fitness day yesterday. However, did treat myself to a Fitbit Charge 2 and make high protein granola (lentils, the secret weapon)
1/9 - 134.0 - 35 min crosstrainer hard, testing the HRM on my new Charge2 which did well. WAY under calories as I am deeply suspicious of the burn reported!
1/10 - 134.0 - Yesterday, walk at lunch hour and did reps in the stairwell a few times, under calories.
Enjoying the floors and steps and move every hour tracking on the new device.
Slept badly though, accepting that I am still in a down/negative place about issues with daughter...
1/11 - 133.2 - Yesterday exhausted and sore throat. Drank tea and rested after work. A little over calories. Taking a couple hours this morning to get my wheels back under me before going to work.
1/12 - 133.4 - Yesterday laid low, got 12 hours of sleep. Over calories on carbs though, comfort food. Gonna try work in a bit.
1/13 - 133.8 - Yesterday didn't stay at work long, harder to stop overeating when I am at home and feeling crappy. Today gonna try a walk at least.
1/14 - 133.6 - Yesterday walked up into a local park on the hill (47 floors, says fitbit, they don't call my town Deep Valley for nothing) and even ran the mile back home. Felt so good to get out and I am bouncing back.
1/15 - 132.4 - NEW LOW! Yesterday 3.25 mile run with a handful of "sprint" bursts, glutes a little sore from that and all that climbing Saturday. Super happy to see this number. Today I'm off, so long run.
1/16 - 132.2 - Yesterday just kinda blah, need to motivate better on weekend/holidays when hubs is not feeling well. Was relying on him to motivate my run, it turned out eating was way off center too. TODAY IS A NEW DAY!
