@Pkov123 -- the woo was intended to be the bad/disagree on MFP, BUT it is being misused for "Woo Hoo". Here's a snippet from Alex in the MFP news and announcement forum responding to someone stating it's being misused and lowering their points:

"The woo reaction will get an updated emoji to help make it more clear what it means. It will remove your woo points but we haven't ever used the reaction points for anything. In 2018 we will be doing more with that system, including adding badges so for now don't pay reaction points much attention."

Personally I miss "Awesome" lol. Thanks for bringing the clarity, @str82nichelle

I have some insight into the woo button. If you put your cursor over the woo and look at the web link for the woo button, you'll see that it has WTF in it. lol Seriously. Inspiring is agree, like is like, hug is awesome, insightful is insightful.

So I think woo is a bad thing.

Welcome to LOTS of newbies this round!!

@Pkov123 I use woo as a positive comment when someone posts progress (Whoo hoo) or as Whoa if I interpret something as negative. MFP doesn’t have a negative emoticon which, I feel, is unrealistic.

@str82nichelle Well, who knew and what the heck are reaction points? I stand corrected!

@cyranda63 I agree. There is no question about the meaning of WTF. Woo is definitely a misnomer!
