Came back strong this week. Very disciplined with my calorie goal. However, I've been feeling under the weather the last few days, so hoping to shake this illness and be able to get back in the gym for full workouts (I've just been walking since I am sick the past 3 days).2 -

11/16 - 206 (a day early but I will be away from my scale tomorrow)
11/24 - 207.5 (a bit disappointed - shouldn't be, considering T-Day dinner and a road trip last weekend - onward and downward!)
12/1 - 205 (even after a plate of Tex-Mex last night. YAY!)
12/8 - 206 (It is what it is. Have seen 203.5 on the scale earlier in the week- but not today. Lower next week.)
12/15 - 203 YAY!
12/22 - 206.5 - I have been on calorie restriction since March. Have been plateaued at 205 +/- 2 pounds for a month. Decided to take a diet break and eat at maintenance calories for a couple of weeks to a month - started that on 12/20. Then back to a restriction to lose the last 20-30 pounds. I'm going to keep logging in here anyway, to help me stay focused.
12/29 - 214 Huge scale spike from this diet break. Restart the calorie restriction on Jan. 4th. Hoping the woosh is just as impressive.
1/5/18 - 209.5 - good drop from that spike. Reworking my calorie targets.
1/12/18 - 209 - Not the worst news. Ok, body - I'm patient - but seriously, let's shed some pounds.
1/19/18 - 215 today - Arrggghhhh! So frustrating. I think I need to lower my calorie targets.0 -

Hey I need to find my edge again after putting a lot of weight over the past year.
SW 183 pounds
GW 156 pounds
Emotjibalveatingvand not sticking to what works for me which is consistent exercise and a lower cal lower carb and low sugar diet ( basically keto but not hard core).
That's 27 pounds.
It's important I lose more in the first 6 weeks as I'm about yo embark on the biggest two years of my life.
Divorced single parent, almost 43, work for self and occasionally others for extra cash, and about to commence full time masters degree.
Ex husband goes away a lot so I have most of the care ( bots age 10 and 15).
I basically feel the odds against me at the moment. Fell off the fitness wagon after a lot of injuries and operations ( knee recon plus torn rotator cuff) and then other health issues then beginning study again last year to prepare for my masters.
First 3 months goals
Feb21: 174lbs/78 kg
March 21: 168lbs/ 76.2
April 21: 163lbs/ 74kg
May: 160lbs/ 72.5
June: 157lbs/ 71.2 kg
I think this is a very easy goal to achieve and realistic0 -

Gave up coffee/caffeine to reduce fat storage and cortisol after very high 7 am blood test reading. Dr. said I had Parkinsonian "symptoms" and was basically "high" on caffeine with eye twitching elevated pulse-rate and high BP.

Gain of 1.2lbs this week. Happy, have hit the high of 175, but seem to be levelling out below this. Hopefully 175 will be my end weight in 11 days' time. For those curious it has taken me 12 weeks to gain the 7lbs. I have been on a bulk since the end of October 2017.0 -
This challenge is simple: get to goal weight in June 2018. Anyone want to join me? I'll be posting frequently with my weight, intake and exercise. It would be great to have some others with me, all reaching goal around the same time.
I just found this, but I'd love to join you. I've been a part of MFP for years, popping on and off as I've been well enough, but I'm excited that I finally have useful meds, functional weather, and am doing alright on the food and school departments (I teach and am in grad school).
My big "event" is in May, not June, but this is a journey and not a destination, right?

So far, I'm at a pretty even 2lb loss, but I know better than to expect it to stay that way. I've worked in a couple of "no loss" weeks into my planning, so that's going to help me not feel discouraged. I also have little non-food rewards set up for every 5lb loss (things I buy and would like anyway, like a new lap desk, or a paperweight, or earrings) that I can earn as I drop the weight. It's nice to get rewards.3 -
