Jan 1st - 211lbs … I think I may have over did it over Christmas and new year that’s a 13lb gain :’( hopefully a lot of that is water weight seeing as I’ve been living on alcohol, fizzy drinks and junk food with not being at home. Time to get back on it TODAY!! No excuses! My weigh in days are Friday, so I’ll weigh back in then.

I made some good decisions while on vacation, and managed to avoid wine and dessert during a business dinner..and I didn't have the feeling I was 'doing without' because I just kept thinking about how good I would feel the next day.. I am not sure why this is all working right now, but I 'll take it!

I'm going backwards. Not really sure why. Delayed holiday gain?
It's only fractions of a pound in the average but I am 2 lbs heavier today than last Sunday, and I was in the 207s all week in between.
Not going to lie, I am fighting some discouragement. Takes forever to lose a pound and a minute to gain back.
I am not quitting, I am just irritated at this long plateau.
Highest weight ever: 254 in October 1999.
Lowest since 1999: 195.
Original starting weight: 243 in 2015.
MFP Starting weight December 25th, 2016: 233
Goal: 180 in however long it takes.

* I’m putting a disclaimer here as I feel next week will be an increase as this weigh in happened after getting sick this morning (but I forgot to weigh in yesterday).
** on some posits notes, I didn’t gain as I predicted, and I hit 50 pounds today!!!! However, I had to take my 2 1/2 year old to ER Friday night with high temp (ear infection we found out), but now I feel as though I’m coming down with FLU4 -

My scale broke today and it’ll be at least a week before my replacement arrives so using yesterday’s weight, going to really focus on exercise and tighten diet since my loss has really slowed down since the new year started, was averaging a pound a week in the beginning.3 -

I've decided that weighing in on Sunday is not for me. For some reason, Monday is when my hard work shows up, so Monday morning it is! I am also taking my measurements every two weeks, so next week, I will do both my weight loss and measurements for the complete picture. I am satisfied with my weight loss so far and feel like I am on track to make my 171 goal for this month. More importantly, I am finding ways to build physical activity into every day! Go me!6 -

I know this isnt real weight gain, its bloating caused by 1-my not best choices of food this weekend, 2-some gastrointestinal issues I have that flared up, and 3-monthly female issue, so next week I should be down 2lbs, im hoping.2
