Whew! Thought I might have a setback this week. Some of my eating habits went sideways on Thursday/Friday and I did not sleep well this week which usually means less exercise and more bad eating. On track to meet the 5 pound loss goal for the month, reaching my altered January goal could be a bit tougher.

Jan 1st - 211lbs … I think I may have over did it over Christmas and new year that’s a 13lb gain :’( hopefully a lot of that is water weight seeing as I’ve been living on alcohol, fizzy drinks and junk food with not being at home. I made some good decisions while on vacation, and managed to avoid wine and dessert during a business dinner..and I didn't have the feeling I was 'doing without' because I just kept thinking about how good I would feel the next day.. I am not sure why this is all working right now, but I 'll take it!

I'm going backwards. Not really sure why. Delayed holiday gain?
It's only fractions of a pound in the average but I am 2 lbs heavier today than last Sunday, and I was in the 207s all week in between.
Not going to lie, I am fighting some discouragement. Takes forever to lose a pound and a minute to gain back.
I am not quitting, I am just irritated at this long plateau.
Highest weight ever: 254 in October 1999.
Lowest since 1999: 195.
Original starting weight: 243 in 2015.
MFP Starting weight December 25th, 2016: 233
Goal: 180 in however long it takes.
