January Loss: So far 7 lbs Weight loss has slowed probably because I started going to the gym and hitting it pretty hard. I gain muscle pretty fast so unless I eat way under I will probably need to readjust my original weight loss goals. Good thing about going back to the gym is it makes me stronger, gives me a tighter body and I feel great. Bad thing, major increase in appetite. Will reassess goals after the January 29 weigh in. My trainer also did a muscle/fat assessment last week and will do another one next week so I actually will be able to see if I am in fact gaining muscle, but losing fat, even if the weight doesn't change much. Fingers crossed!3 -

Weight lost this week: +1.2 lbs. Had a pretty bad kidney infection this past week and the antibiotics just started to help. Thinking most of this is just water weight as I feel pretty bloated, but still happy with weight loss for January. Going to keep my February goal the same and just work harder during next month!
