Cocoa powder. Only 20cal per tablespoon. And it has 15% of daily iron goal. And 1 gram of protein.
Everything should taste like chocolate!20 -

Chick-Fil-A nuggets! Not just the grilled ones (although they are lower). 12 regular nuggets at CFA = 390 calories. This is good for me as I don't ever cook and eat out for every single meal. I've learned to adapt and what I can and can't eat out and what portions I can have. Down 60 lbs. eating out every meal, every day of the week.23

Roasted broccoli. I guess calories depend on how stingy you are with the oil, but regardless, I can eat a HUGE amount of roasted broccoli.
Roasted seaweed. It's about 50 calories or less for a crunchy, salty snack.
Individually wrapped Ghirardelli chocolates. The squares are about 50-70 calories each, depending on which ones you buy; the minis are 35-40 calories each.
Also, Hershey syrup. I put it on my Halo Top. I also have a nice cherry balsamic vinegar that I sometimes put on chocolate Halo Top. Half a tablespoon of either of those options and half a cup of Halo Top will get you a little sundae for about 100 calories or less.8 -

I know a lot of us don't like frozen meals but Healthy Choice cafe steamers. Some are under 200 calories!? Also Applebees Thai Shrimp salad, 300ish calories for veggies, edamame, shrimp, wonton bits, Thai peanut sauce, chili lime dressing. Best date night EVER!4

Chicken sausage - if you stick with the savory ones, they're pretty low-cal.
Egg whites
Low-fat mozzarella
Popcorn
Goat cheese
One of my new go-to quick meals for when I don't want to cook is an omlette made with one whole egg and a couple of eggs worth of egg whites, some chopped up chicken sausage, whatever veggies I have on hand (onions, peppers, etc.) and a little low-fat mozzarella. Add a small side of strawberries and half of a whole wheat english muffin? Nice little meal right there.3 -

1/4 tbsp of butter - 25
1 slice of Kraft American cheese - 60
1 oz of Italian bread - 80
Granted it's half the size of what I use to eat but it's truly my go to snack right now since it's cold out.9 -
Turkey breast slices! You can have multiple slices and they add up to like less than 100 calories and they're very filling!6

Since logging what is the one food that blew your mind for having so few calories but still taste great?
What has surprised you the most.
Things like Sour Cream, Mushrooms and Eggs surprised me for how few calories they have... and vegetables remain amazing...
Even lower cal than sour cream and (I think) just as good, plain non-fat Greek yogurt! And it's got digestive enzymes, too!6 -

Better yet, open-faced sandwiches! Load up a slice with lean deli meat and spinach and tomatoes and put a single slice of that good cheese on top and broil it in the oven to melt the cheese. So good! Especially with soup!6 -
Laughing Cow Cheese wedges are basically air! Eat them with a couple of pretzels for a super low cal snack.7

One great thing to do if you're a volume eater is to make dip with it for veggies. Cut up a few veggies, mix some herbs and spices in a cup of plain Greek yogurt, and pig out. So much volume. So much protein. So few calories.5 -
