Rough day yesterday. My sprained ankle was feeling like it wasn’t healing right, so I went to the doctor. It turns out I’ve been walking around with a fracture for a month, and because of the location it’s going to take at least 2 months to heal. Good news though is that it will be less likely to roll from now on, as my muscles are having to overcompensate for the weakness and now they will be stronger (according to doc). Also, woke up this morning and I’m pretty sure I have the flu.

Going to try to push through this slump and not get discouraged. It’s going to take all of my effort to not cheat over these next few days and not go into a “what’s the point” binge eating spiral. It’s ok. Just need to remind myself to keep making the right choices for my body and fueling it right.

01/28 138.4lb - unsurprisingly slightly up - yesterday (although not over calories allowance) I spent my whole day at the computer, drinking coffee and too little water and didn't hardly move at all. I'm an accountant and its tax return deadline on Wednesday 31st so really busy. More of the same today too ....... must have more water today if nothing else........
01/29 139.1lb - not unusually I weigh more on a Monday - the usual full Sunday roast and dessert (all in calories just a lot of food concentrated in the evening!). And on top of that the whole weekend spent in front of a computer. So am happy with this especially as still under the 140lbs! No reason this won't be a good week
01/30 139.4lb - not surprised! Caught my kids cough and cold and was up half the night drinking water trying to stop myself coughing so drank loads plus had lemsips and hot drinks! However my calories and macros yesterday were spot on (as was my fluid intake!!) so know this is the scales lying to me
01/31 138.20 - my usual fall on the scales on a Wednesday post weekend. Still not back to my all time low of last week but only by 0.30lb which I'll allow myself as still full of cold so still dosing up on lemsips and cough medicines! Went to the gym last night but not a 100% effort as feel rough - but I went so pleased with that. Will keep drinking plenty, eating sensibly and watch those scales continue to go down! A new month tomorrow and closer to Spring
02/01 139.10lb - up and down this round. Was within my calories again yesterday so can only assume its due to lack of activity (stuck behind computer due to tax return time of year) and feeling rough so been having lemsips and cough pastilles. And to top it off TOM is imminent so feeling bloated. Tax all done now though and hoping cough and cold is on its way out so can only gt better. BUT - I have throughout it all still remained under 140 .......
02/02 138.40lbs - up, down, up, down this round. Maybe my body is adjusting to its new weight? Body fat measurement at the gym last night and gone down 1.80% in January - yay!!!!
Seem to be over the worst of my cold but TOM imminent and I'm away overnight. But all still good as staying under 140lb so all good Got healthy snacks for the 5 hour car journey this evening, will enjoy my hotel breakfast tomorrow with the aim of staying sensible and try to not indulge in take-away rubbish tomorrow. Back to weigh in on Sunday morning again.

02/02 = 213.2. Everything went wrong yesterday except nutrition. I was looking forward to a very specific dinner, but they didn't have what I wanted. Drove 30 minutes to play basketball only to find that the gym was decorated for a dinner/dance. Sliced my finger feeding my kittens. And my damn weight didn't budge. In a side note, I have a serious question. Has anyone else noticed a significant decrease in frequency and volume of a certain bodily function when eating less than they used to? I'm getting plenty of water and fiber, and the "quality" seems good when it happens. I'm not trying to turn this into #2 talk, but I want to make sure I'm not dying.

1/30 - 132.2 - I logged yesterday, drank water, and slept last night. Rising again even though I fell (Thanks holisticpradise for reminding me)
1/31 - 132.0 - just under calories yesterday, 30 min rowing workout but didn't get steps. Poor sleep last night. Today, THE DENTIST (twice!)
2/1 - 132.0 - a squinch over calories yesterday, rocking 3 mile run. Lots of emo lately.
2/2 - 130.6 - finally lost the bloat from last weekend's indiscretions, in time for ... THIS WEEKEND! Solid workout last night (run to gym, 10 min stairs, 25 min elliptical going hard) and under calories.
It's going to be slower loss from here on out, and harder to tell if I am succeeding. This daily tracking and ACCOUNTABILITY really helps.

Aaack! But in fairness, I'm retaining everything. Not sure why (but lower carb means a lot lower fiber than usual and we went out for lunch yesterday so the combo is probably it). Anyway, I'm up today but expect a drop soon. I'm happy if I stay under 150 for the next few weeks.

OK, right direction, but I still feel bloated and puffy. Not sure why - I'm drinking lots of water. I have gone over my calorie goal the past two days, but still.... Anyway, back on track today, cutting carbs (thanks for the nudge, @quiltingjaine, and I'f off for a walk in a few minutes. Still aiming simply to maintain, but that's in the 146's, not higher!

Oops, but not unexpected. Dinner out, including bacon, so more salt than usual. Still within goals.

So easy to gain, so hard to lose. All good, though. I've reminded myself that 4 months ago I hovered in the 150s. If I continue to lose at this rate, I'll be hovering in the 130s by the end of the year. Slow is sustainable - it helps to remember that.

01/28 / 285.2 I am not drinking enough water! Currently it is 1 degree outside. Dehydration is Real!
01/29 / 284.6 I went to lunch with a friend yesterday and was afraid to eat! Turns out if I’d eaten everything I ordered, I still would have been under my goal. Not everything had a calorie count provided, and I had to wait to log it in until I had my laptop. Thanks to the fantastic MFP database, all items had counts!
01/30 / 285.0 I was under my calories, but I struggled to get my water in yesterday. I am also having TMI issues. Hopefully this passes. (ha!)
01/31 / 285.0 Hmmm. I did go out with friends last night for dinner. Had halibut about 6 ounces, Brussels sprouts. I thought I was doing well, and I was so under calories for the day that I fixed a big snack. Not again.

I met my goal weight a few months ago. My new goal now is to stay around 115 average. I seem to be ranging lower around 112-114 lately. I love this group & enjoy the daily check ins. I enjoy following everyone else's progress & thanks to my OCD tendencies, I enjoy tracking my calories & daily weight.
