My boss just pulled me in her office to talk about my toots.

Haahaa oh dear. I was just complaining to a coworker that my new shoes keep making farty noises when I work, but that's next level.
Try charcoal tablets. My farty brother swears by them.2 -
Laughing my *kitten* off. I clicked on the post to see what toots was code for, thinking you were talking boobs or feet but no - you mean what you say. :laugh:11

Hygiene and cleanliness clause lol!?0

Boss: "Umm.. how do I broach the subject, are you familiar with the children's song: beans beans, the magical fruit, the more you eat the more yyou... you know..."13

Yep! Most embarrassing trip to the boss's office yet.Alatariel75 wrote: »Haahaa oh dear. I was just complaining to a coworker that my new shoes keep making farty noises when I work, but that's next level.

I'll definitely have to give those a try. My coworkers are nurses and such, I guess they can wipe a patient's *kitten* but my toots are just too too much.
...they are pretty bad.

Oh my...that is embarrassing. I get to hear every day about my husband's co-worker who is constantly loudly tooting all day. When he does it, my husband says, "What did you say?"16

Since you are all nurses, what did she say? I mean, she above all should know it's a normal biological function. Was she worried about your health? Or did she just tell you to take it outside?4

I worked for a boss once. On a Saturday some other people who worked for the boss re-routed the vent pipe from the bathroom. Just sayin'.8

Oh goodness! How did he even approach you with this topic? That must've been so uncomfortable.1

This all stemmed from me asking a coworker to wait 20 minutes until I left to spray down the main office with lavender for the second time that night. I didn't realize she was doing so to cover my toots, I wasn't having a super bad fart night even!
My boss asked me to let folks spray their heart out and that I should sneak off into one of the provider's offices if I have another toot attack.14 -
Sorry maybe see if changing what you eat will help. That must've been a very awkward conversation.2

"Hey deviatednorm, can you come into my office real quick? So...how's everything working with work? Okay okay...good to hear...so...last night, can you tell me a little about what went on?"
"Uh...idk what you're referring to, last night was slow and uneventful."
"There was a nurse who sprayed something tho? So... uh... hrm...do you have a problem with gas maybe?"
turned out I was the bad guy for asking the nurse not to spray the room lol8 -

I really like my diet! It's nutritious and keeps me happy at 1200 calories a day. I will definitely try picking up some simethicone or charcoal or something tho. I didn't realize it was such an issue, my work is pretty stinky even without my toots.1 -
Charcoal tablets, I tell ya! Available anywhere you get vitamins.3

OMG I am so sorry but I literally LOL'd. That bad?? Protein toots are the worst though. Also maybe your coworker is ultra sensitive. I know I was when I was pregnant, smells were so intense... too much cologne or a bad fart would have me trying my hardest not to puke.
Haven't tried these but could be helpful?

I worked with a person who loudly farted all the time and was not even aware of it. Or if she was aware of it she pretended like she wasn't.1

Adding some extra plants might reduce the smell, apparently it's the high protein that causes the stink, so more salad with your protein :-)3

Beano? I take it for certain veggies which have a "gotta toot" affect on me.5
