CICO. Eat what you normally eat but start weighing it all. Gradually bring your portion sizes down. Then start changing what you eat if you find that you need to. Again, gradually. By working gradually things become a new normal, rather than a shock to the system.

Tried Keto for 10 days had great ‘water’ loss then broke down as it was too strict! Yes mfp but I struggle to keep within the calorie limit. I struggle a lot as I’m unhappy being overweight but then unhappy healthy eating. I know mindset is a big thing which I can have have for weeks then bang it goes out of the window and I can’t stop it, I literally can’t stop myself eating rubbish ( I have one side of me saying DONT eat it and the other saying do it. Angel and devil.) then feel guilty for eating crap. But something in me can’t stop me from doing it0

Yes you can stop yourself eating rubbish. It's called discipline. But if you're not used to exercising discipline when it comes to your diet then you will have to teach yourself. I had to teach myself discipline. I could easily sit down and eat an entire packet of biscuits in one sitting. A year on and although I do have bad days, I soon revert back to my new way of eating.
But all you have done on this thread is shut down why you can't do any of the suggestions. You are making excuses. With that attitude you will get nowhere. I should know, I was that person.
For me it was like a switch that got flicked. Suddenly I thought: I am getting older, this will only get harder, and I want to feel comfortable in my own body. Realised I had to work hard. It's not mindset, it's sheer hard work. You mentioned the magic early on and that tells me you want a quick fix, that you are not willing to work hard.
I've had to. I have had to log meticulously and exercise, and educate myself on nutrition. But I did it, gradually. I didn't start down at 1200 calories. No, I reduced my calories by about 200-300 a day. That's 3-4 boiled eggs, so not a lot. But *kitten* me, it worked. My highest weight was last April at 13st 1lb. I am down to 11st 10lb. And at no point have I starved myself or denied myself nice things and days off.
But then I was willing to work hard and commit. Because that is what it takes.1 -
But that’s what you don’t understand, I can’t stop myself. Period. I can argue with myself all day.. and not eat it all day but by the end of that day whatever I needed to eat will have passed my lips and there is nothing I can physically do about it. I have spoken to an auntie of mine who suffers the same thing and out of every person I know she is the only person who understands.. IDK it’s hard when I am willing to commit but there’s something there to stop me.2

Sounds like you also struggle with your relationship with food, you don't have to eat "healthy" straight away, make gradual changes over time. There are no "Bad" foods, there are no "Good" foods there is just food that makes up a balanced diet.
Start by just getting into the habit of logging, don't even worry about the calories, just log everything you eat.
Once you've done that for a week or so, look at what you've logged and look at ways you can get from what you've logged to your calorie allowance. It's a lot easier than you think, things like making a slightly smaller portion of something, using a spray oil instead of frying in a lot of oil, switching out sugary drinks for diet versions, water, tea or normal coffee, substituting lower calorie dressings/condiments for higher calories sauces, etc and bulking meals out with lower calorie items so you feel fuller longer.
Then once you get used to your calorie allowance you can start making changes towards a healthier more nutritious diet.
But like @rianneonamission says you need to change this "can't" attitude if you think you can't you won't. You can do it but you have to want to do it. Noone is perfect every day, I know I am not but in the grand scheme I do better more often than I do bad.

This past week I have had spinach, bananas, tuna, whole wheat bread, AND pasta, cake, candy and ice cream. I am easily tracking, logging and losing. Find out how many calories you need to consume to lose weight at an appropriate rate and then eat that number of calories. Nutrition is important but so is living your life! It's all about moderation, balance and common sense.0 -

I do understand. That person was me until last Easter. I couldn't stop myself. Every day I said I would, but I never could. Until a switch flicked in my mind.
I used to think that life was too short to be slim and diet. I now think that life is too short to be unhealthy and careless with my body.3 -
That’s me I wake up every morning with a new day then end up eating crap. Do you know what made the switch flick?? I’m desperately wanting to do it, I can get to the point that I look in the mirror and hate myself but the urge for food is too strong to stop myself from eating it0

Have you logged any days at all? When you're eating "crap" are you actually going crazy overboard bingeing or do you have this all-or-nothing mindset that a lot of folk have where you think you can't eat a bag of crisps, eat a pizza and still lose weight.
Hating yourself is not a solution either, that's a really unhealthy way to look at it, you should be looking in the mirror and thinking you love yourself enough to improve your quality of life for yourself.1 -

I’m typically within my calories some times over but not drastically... I’m staying the same weight atm but not losing however I’m still always under 2000 calories.. my allowance is 12000

What made the switch flick? Nothing in particular. I was 31, exercising like mad for 2 months and didn't drop a single pound. In fact, I gained one. Down in the dumps, but remembered I'd taken a body shot before I started exercising, so decided to take another body shot. Despite being a pound heavier I looked better because my muscles were starting to get some definition. That paired with a family history of cardiovascular problems and knowing my blood pressure was elevated I decided that my health was more important than my mind's attempts at sabotaging my health.
My mind now values my health.
Don't get me wrong, December just didn't happen. Skipped a lot of days, practically no exercise. But I managed to only gain about 3-4lbs. And that's starting to come off again. You see, although I was bad, having spent April-November tracking has made me gain a level of control I never had before.
But most importantly: Take a bad day or bad month for what it is: A blip. It's nothing you can't recover from. And I think you are one of those people who puts themselves down for going off the wagon. So what? That's life. We all do it. Be kind to yourself, and continue again a few days later. Stop making a big deal out of a bad day. Birthday? Enjoy it. Christmas? All the trimmings, ta! Special occasion? Again, enjoy it. Life's too short not to.1 -

*kitten* hell. First of all, stop restricting yourself to 1200 calories. No wonder you're bingeing.
Your TDEE stats
Your BMR is around 1556 calories a day. That is what your body needs to keep itself alive whilst you lie in bed doing nothing. You are a fair bit more active than that.
If you horse ride a few times a week, and can guarantee you don't pick at your little one's leftovers, keep logging but up your calories to 1600-1700 a week. You will lose weight more slowly, but you'll feel less hungry which reduces the likelihood of bingeing.7 -

TBH I set my goal at 2lb about 3 years ago when I started this so mfp gave me 1200 calories and never even thought to change it so maybe I’ve self sabotaging all this time....1

For me it was developing an obesity-related complication that can't be reversed. Controlled (through weight loss and compression stockings), yes. Cured, no. I didn't want my life to be a leg swollen to 3x its normal size with a weeping wound that needed multiple courses of antibiotics—I now worry that too many flare-ups will inevitably lead to my building up immunities to them—and daily visits from home-care nurses to change the dressing.
Thankfully, it's been under control for months, now and I hope I don't have a flare-up anytime soon. But that's what made MY switch flick. Please, try to flick yours sooner!1 -

So set your account up correctly, as mentioned above there is no need for you to be on 1200 calories.
Set yourself to Lightly Active and 1lb per week loss that should give you around 1650-1700 calories per day to play with stick at it, if you have a bad day, log it move on, realise that if you do have a bad day you will see a gain on the scale, most of it is water weight, which will come off within a matter of days and just carry on.
Your bingeing at the moment is likely down to being bloody hungry.

I think the real thing is finding something you yourself can stick to. I am just like you and have tried it all. Well in December i was in ER because i was gaining weight and was in stomach and back pain to find out i had ulcers, and Gerd and Celiac. So all these different issues were causing weight gain.
So I switched to the alkaline diet with the 80/20 plan along with thrive products(that give me my nutrition gaps filled with vitamins)and i use this app to monitor my calorie intake . I do eat pizza and burger every now an then. I feel better that i did for a long time. I now am down 16 pounds and 13 inches. So find what works for you and being connected with others on the same journey is good resource.5 -

Google macros, TDEE, weight training for fat loss, how you can’t spot target certain body parts, and when you get to grips with all of this more basic stuff head over to investigate micronutrients.
