2/17 ~ 149.9 ~ Crazy!! So this was a goal because I recall being 20 something and hitting 150 and thinking I was huge. I know it’ll go up, maybe even tomorrow. I’ve friends in town and planning some kind of mini vacation in March. But I will make this solid!! 16,650 steps 1683 calories
2/18 ~ 149.4 ~ Went for a walk with a friend, very nice. 25,070 steps 1547 calories. Off for breakfast with the fam.
2/19 ~ 149.6 Breakfast calories were guessed at 950, not including the coffee!! I was filling at least so tried for a lower cal lunch and dinner. Got a good walk in and grocery shopped/meal prepped. 21,600 steps and 1631 calories. Interested to see how hungry I am this afternoon. Happy to see these 4's. Next goal hang around here maybe aim for 145 and to still be around 149.9 after vacation.
2/20 ~ 149.5 ... Dinner out and a drink, can't believe this number. 15,445 steps 1842+ calories!
2/21 ~ 150.4 ... 18,200 steps and 1574 calories. Evening out, will see how I do.
2/22 ~ 149.5 ... 14,460 steps and 1310 calories. Visited a friend but not for dinner so did ok. Didn't have my after work walk so steps are down and skipped part of my snacks. Tried 5 minutes of planks and high steps, needed a few breaks!

@nikki062181 is here. Lol I can honestly say I have no clue how many rounds I've done with this group. It's been an amazing support system. 70% of people who start a fitness plan, QUIT.
Not YOU. Not THIS time.

2/17: 158 lbs: I took a HIIT Burn Carb Cycling quiz to boost my metabolism. I may try it out if my weight continues to maintain no matter what I do instead of losing any.
2/18: 158.2 lbs: Stayed within my calories but spent the day vegging and shopping. I loathe shopping, but my pants were HUGE and my underwear is falling off. Lol
2/19: 157.2 lbs: 2 oz. away from a 45 lb. loss. I so badly want to get there.
2/20 156.8 Woo Hoo!!!! I am now at a 45.2 lb loss. I am so thrilled. I did decide to try the HIIT Burn Carb Cycling, so let's see if it works.
2/21: 157.2 Yesterday was my high carb day, and since I worked late, I decided to go out to dinner with my family, and I had 3 taco supremes from Taco Bell. IT WAS YUMMY! Now back to 3 days of low(er) carb.
2/22: 157.8 It was another late night because of Freshman Orientation for my oldest son. I was bad. I didn't do a low carb or low sodium dinner. However, I was still within my carbs because of what I ate all day. My sodium....not so much.

@lilysillycat ... I've lost over 70lbs eating non clean, maybe you're eating too much of the clean food? But it's just been a few days and could be anything. Just keep it going!!2

I’ve lost 10.8 lbs so far in 3 full challenges plus 3 days (started late on the first). I’m getting into better habits. I’m learning to “stop the bleeding” when I have a moment of “weakness” (I need to come up with another name for this… moments are normal). I’m loving this group, and I'm loving all of you just for being here. Without saying a word, you are a HUGE source of support for me.

Day/Weight/Comment
02/17 = 208.6 (-0.6). Let the good times roll. Even when I have a “bad” day, I’m always at maintenance or under (215 over calorie goal last night). And the bad days are becoming few and far between. Being accountable every day seems to be the ingredient that has been missing for all these years. I’ve logged for long periods of time in the past, but this opportunity to “journal” has been lifechanging. Had a glass of wine and a small dessert last night, but felt in-control the whole time. Going to the gym today to lift weights and do some HIIT. Light lunch, and then dinner and a movie with my wife and a couple of friends. Going to try to make healthy choices (or at least portion control) tonight at dinner. I'll see where I'm at with calories and decide beforehand if I want a drink.
02/18 = 209.2 (+0.6). Lifted weights yesterday, but HIIT didn’t happen (Got a little lazy. I miss basketball!). Ate light for breakfast, but had a surprise poke bowl from my wife for lunch. Had plans for dinner and a movie with my wife and two of her friends, but apparently there was some miscommunication regarding the movie, so it ended up just being dinner. I ate pretty light, but the food was decadent, and I had a drink. I’m having dinner tonight at my parents, which will likely include at least a drink or two. I’ll be happy to escape this weekend at my starting weight. This really is a constant challenge, but it’s getting so much easier to make good choices (and stop my bad choices from going too far and completely derailing me). This feels like it’s working, even if my weight does not go down every single day.
02/19 = 207.4 (-1.8). I think this number is a little exaggerated because I slept in 2.5 hours longer than ususal, but I’m mostly just really happy. Ate super light for breakfast and lunch. Had a standing rib roast with twice-baked potatoes and two margaritas for dinner at my parents' place. Plus it was my brother’s (my mom’s dog) birthday, so also a cupcake and a scoop of ice cream. I’m pretty sure I overestimated everything calorie-wise, because I really try to err that way if I’m not sure what I’m taking in. If I weren’t calorie-counting I would have eaten 2-3 times as much as I did. Of course, I didn’t, and I was completely satisfied.
02/20 = 208.6 (+1.2). I didn't really believe my weigh-in yesterday, so I'm okay with this number (I am also -0.6 for the long weekend, which is fantastic!). I have a new nephew, but I managed to stay in control when we went out to eat with my in-laws. Went over with salt on the day (I think), but drank plenty of water. I'm going to the gym tonight with my wife to lift weights, and I WILL get my HIIT workout in. Two more days until basketball starts up again. I can't wait!!!
02/21 = 208.4 (-0.2). Yesterday was fine eating-wise, but I felt like I was getting sick last night (didn't go to the gym). I'm in bed now, sick. I know I'm supposed to drink lots of fluids, but I don't want anything. Basketball is tomorrow night. I really want to feel better. I HATE missing basketball.
02/22 = 209.4 (+1.0). I didn't want to post this number. This week is a reminder that things can go sideways for a million different reasons. I think yesterday's sickness was a little bit of a false alarm; it definitely was NOT the flu. I'm back at work today (mostly because I couldn't justify playing basketball if I didn't go to work). I really do feel better, though, even if I have some congestion. The "sideways" - wife brought me a sandwich last night, and I ate mindlessly (I also fear it was a salt bomb). I would have been fine with half a sandwich, but I ate all of it, plus half of my wife's. This is a pattern that has plagued me through our 14.5 year relationship. She didn't offer it to me this time (which is good), but I asked her for it, and she let me have it. Rather than beat myself up about it, however, I'm going to treat it as the reminder it is. This week is so far is a wash (very little exercise, but staying at or below maintenance calorie-wise so far), but I have 4 days left in this challenge, including 2 days of basketball (which always includes a full body weight workout at the gym). I'm going to finish this off strong, no matter what my weight says at the end.

Female, 5'4"
Starting Weight: 135 lbs
Goal Weight: 115 lbs - Met in late 2017
I met my goal weight in late 2017. My new goal now is to stay around 115 average. Lately I've been ranging around 110-112 lbs. Since switching to a whole food plant based diet, I can't seem to stop losing weight, despite reintroducing alcohol into my diet. It's about the seemingly unimportant decisions. But consistently making them everyday is what leads to success.
Goal This Round: Maintain 115 lbs Average
02/17 • 110 • Ran 3.5 miles. 1550 cal. 3 servings of alcohol
02/18 • 110 • Played 3 sets of tennis. 1850 cal. 3 servings of alcohol
02/19 • 110 • Played 3 sets of tennis & went salsa dancing. 1850 cal. 4 servings of alcohol
02/20 • 109 • Played 3 sets of tennis. 1600 cal. 4 servings of alcohol
02/21 • 111 • 1400 cal
02/22 • 111 • Ran 3.5 miles & lifted weights. 1750 cal.

Goal: Release 2 lbs per round to reach onederland by Memorial Day weekend.
Ultimate Goal: 175 lbs, reevaluate at that point
February
17: 219.6 Not concerned about the increase. Way to much sodium yesterday. Corned beef is SOOO good though. I'm heading out for a 60 minute walk now and will focus on reaching my 100oz water goal today.
18: 219.7 Water, calories, macros, sodium, exercise were all on point yesterday. Count down to TOM includes little gains daily. Then, as long as I stay motivated and on track through a few days of cravings and actual increased hunger, there'll be a nice drop, releasing the little gains plus some.
19: 218.8... That's a pleasant surprise. No TOM yet. Managed a 15 calorie deficit, even having pizza for supper. 108oz of water. No exercise. I don't have high BP, but it does get checked everyday. I'm noticing that it's lowering as I consistently meet my 100oz water goal.
20: 218.9... Yesterday was a REALLY good day! 100+oz of water. 2 hour walk. 180 calories deficit before considering exercise. With exercise, I had well over 1,000 calorie deficit. Macros were on point. Sodium was slightly over, but not by much. I'm thinking my water intake counteracts that, at least somewhat. Got on my yoga mat too, which felt great, and I felt strong the rest of the day. However, in the afternoon I ended up tweaking my knee. I may have to skip my walk today. We're going skiing on Thursday with my kids' school, so I'm hoping it'll be recovered by then. Knees can be slow though, so I'm not banking on being able to participate. We'll see.
21: 217.9... No exercise yesterday. Food and water were good. We were out of town late yesterday afternonn for an appointment and needed to dine out. The kids wanted fast food, but I let them know that Subway would be the only option because I want to eat healthy. I walked in having already logged what I planned to order. I was soooo close to changing my mind when I saw their pulled pork special, but I reminded myself how good I've been doing. Ended with about an 80 calorie deficit.
22: 217.4... Moderate exercise yesterday. First day of TOM. I did make it out to ski today, and my knee is feeling ok so far. Less than a pound to reach my round goal!

SW - 182.4 - March 2017
Original GW 145 - Achieved October 2017
New GW - 140
I maintained nicely around 143 from October to Dec...then is started creeping back up to 145. Working on getting it down to 140...slowly but surely...
02/16 - 143 coming in from round 31 with a 7 day rolling average of 144.1
Day/Weight/Comment
02/17 - 144.6 - pizza rebound...spent lots of last round here
02/18 - 145.6
02/19 - 145.4 - NOT a great weekend...puffy fingers and heavy belly this morning...water and activity over the next couple of days should hopefully flush out this bloat.
02/20 - 147 - the bloat continues...didn't do a good job of controlling the sodium and carbs with the noodle stir fry we had for dinner last night...
02/21 - 146.4 - hopefully it continues to come off...I need to get back into the routine of working out in the evenings if I have to go into the showroom early in the mornings...I'm not getting enough activity...
02/22 - 145.8 - feeling a bit less bloaty today...just keep hydrating...

@puttyputty I thought "woo" meant someone had done super good! I hope that's what it means because that's what I mean when I "woo" someone!
THis is how most MFPers view "WOO" as there is a LOT of weight loss WOO out there...
"Woo, also called woo-woo, is a term for pseudoscientific explanations that share certain common characteristics, often being too good to be true (aside from being unscientific). The term is common among skeptical writers. Woo is understood specifically as dressing itself in the trappings of science (but not the substance) while involving unscientific concepts, such as anecdotal evidence and sciencey-sounding words."

Day/Weight/Comment
2/17 :: 176.1 - What a wonderful number to see this morning!!
2/18 :: 176.1 - Nice to see this number again, but I know I didn’t eat the best yesterday.. too much sodium, not enough water.. I expect a little bounce in the next couple days, unfortunately
2/19 :: 177.5 - Yep! Okay, back to the schedule and more water!!
2/20 :: 178.1 - Did not sleep well at all last night and in the past this caused my body to hold onto weight… here’s hoping I get better sleep tonight and this number improves tomorrow
2/21 :: 178.8 - Oh we are going the wrong way!!!! I can’t blame anyone else but myself though… super tired yesterday led to horrible food choices last night… will try to be better.
2/22 :: 178.0 - Okay, that’s a little better. Still almost 2 pounds higher than the weekend which is weird, but at least we’re headed back down.
