That is the HUGE problem with it.

Some people think it means "woo" as in "Woohoo! That's great!"
Some people think it means "woo" as in "woo woo" - which is a negative comment suggesting the poster is a liar, passing bunk, or complete pseudoscience.

The board MODERATORS have stated more than once that it is intended to mean "you doubt the sincerity of the post"

Since there are so many different opinions, and everyone will always do what is right in their own eyes, clicking woo is a bad thing. Someone may click it meaning a positive mark, but the person getting the click will take it as a negative one. It should be removed and forgotten for all time.

But, not my house, not my rules.

I think I would be happy with the same range of reaction buttons that Facebook has. I know the ironic use isn't the official one but I think it's got a pretty substantial following - possibly greater than the 'woohoo' interpretation.

It does but I'll use it ironically sometimes. Like an eyeroll on a really bad pun.

someone woo'ed my mileage post

That's sad. I wonder if that gets inadvertently selected when scrolling on mobile. I've seen others that make no sense to "woo".

The woo doesn't belong in our thread. Unless we're swooning over shoes, others mileage, a frozen beard, that one guys legs...

    right?!

Oh you remember Adrian? He's still in our Strava group, if you need to jog your memory. He posted pics prob a year ago. He had done some weight training and had (has) amazing legs. Swoon worthy.

ETA @AdrianChr92 in case he wants to stop in, maybe with another race pic...

    I'm not creepy haha!

Todays run was surprisingly easier that i expected but im still dead tired from Saturdays crazy run. Signed up for 4 races but the one im most excited for is the 420 games. They do an a yoga session before and after the race which is awesome before you head into the village for even more awesomeness. lol Im not much of a drinker but i think i might hit up the beer tasting...i mean who can pass up medicated beer. lol

"420" games? Now that could be interesting!

After having such a good run on Saturday I couldn't wait to get out for a run today. Ate too little to early before I could actually get out and then was hit with dizziness and no energy. I finished the 5 I wanted to get in but it was definitely slow and a struggle. I have to do better at this.

One question for the group. I am having a lot of shoe issues. With the newish Kinvaras I felt like my heels are slipping so I laced with the heel lock but then my toes on just my right foot were falling asleep, to the point it was painful by the end of the run. With my Skoras, no issue with the heels slipping but my entire forefoot (both feet) seem to be falling asleep at times. I also got a blister on my left heel for the first time ever in my last HM with those shoes and now it seems to just keep getting irritated. They are not new and I am wearing the same socks I have always worn. Not sure what is up but it is getting frustrating.

So @abutcher2122 - what are the 420 games?
On 'Woo' - I am one who just doesn't use it. I wish there was a woohoo button or the ones from FB would be great. At least there is no question what they mean and they cover most of what we would want.

Yes Great Report and pictures. That one picture with your shoes off, you know it's seriously muddy when you can't tell if he has socks on or it just a few pieces of KT tape still hanging on. Great Job good man. Were there any truly epic Shoe Removing Knee Deep Mud Holes??

OMG, @7lenny7 - great race pictures and recap. That sounds horrific to me, but glad you had fun through all of that mud-covered slogging. A shower must have felt like heaven when you finally got to one. Congratulations and kudos to you. Love the little spinning tornado on the medal.

@7lenny7 Awesome race report! Ugh, you brought some not so fun flashbacks from October for me with that mud. Awesome running and, again, awesome RR!

I'm doing that race weekend too! I'm flying down Saturday night and doing the Rock n' Roll HM Sunday morning

    Awesome!
Planning to spend my post-race Saturday down there with my family. We rarely go to Nola without doing one or more of the Audubons (which my 4-year-old loves), but we'll probably focus more on the Quarter this time.

I may have a sickness. New race signup for St Patrick's Day.

I find running always (never) cures that right up.

Oops. I'm a faulty "woo"er, I'm afraid. I thought it was like, "woo, that's bad" or "sheesh" or "yikes." More like a "woah."
