I still don’t have a good exercise routine down. I’m pleasantly surprised by this ending weight, but will have to press on to maintain and make additional progress. So inspired by everyone who posts here! See you in the next round!8 -

Round 33 (Round 3 for Me)
Goal: Lose 2 lbs., 10,000 + Steps, Strength Tr., Eat within Calories, Watch Sodium, and Lots of Water!
Day/Weight/Comment:
2/27: 240.6
-0.4 lbs. 10,235 Steps, Ate within goals.
2/28: 240.6
No Change. Ate great, walked around 5,000 steps, and did a 30 min. lower body workout.
Since starting these challenges (this is my 3rd round) the jeans that were once tight on me I can slip on and off without unzipping. And I can see the difference already.
3/1: 240
-0.6 lbs. 10,664 Steps, played in the snow with my kiddo, and ate within goals.
3/2: 238.8
-1.2 lbs. Around 5,000 Steps, and 1 Hour Arm and Abs Workout, within all MFP goals
3/3: 239
+0.2 Weighed on new scale today. With the old scale I had to weigh my self a few times and pick the weight that seemed correct. On the new scale it says the same weight every time. 8,622 Steps, within all MFP goals
3/4: 240.4
+1.4 lbs. I'm not surprised I had a gain. I was 100 calories over (and that was after eating my exer. calories), and was the highest I've been is sodium (made pho and stir fry yesterday). Also, did a 1 hour lower body strength training workout.
3/5: 238.6
-1.8 lbs. 10,922 Steps, 150 calories over. Guess I was able to get rid of that water weight gain from yesterday. Lots of water and watched my sodium.
3/6: 239.6
+1 lb. 6,144 Steps, 160 calories over, 1 hour arms and abs workout. For the last 26 days I keep fluctuating between 238 - 241 lbs. I really want to break through to 237 and keep going.
3/7: 239.6
No Change. 1 Hour Cardio Workout, 10,100 Steps.
3/8: 239.8
+0.2 lbs. 1 Hour Lower Body Workout, 7,368 Steps, 200 calories over (stress eating)
I'm really going to try harder next round. I haven't done so well Round 32 and 33. Yesterday I had a rough day, I was so down about not seeing the weight loss these last 2 rounds, I feel like I've been trying so hard but I know I still have room for improvement.
(-1.2 lbs. for Round 33)

@KayHBE Welcome to Vegas!! Have a great time. There is so much more to this area than gambling, eating, and drinking!
@brightresolve I agree with you. In the beginning I didn’t see why people posted their averages. When I figured out mine, I noticed a drop ALMOST EVERY ROUND, even though they sometimes are small.2 -

This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE CHANGE.
2/27 141.0 Revised after multiple trips to the bathroom due to antibiotic side effect. Casino buffet for dinner.
2/28 141.0 (EFD1)Think I’m holding some water as my rings became uncomfortably tight last night.

3/3 139.5 Well I think my scale may be on its death bed. It said 139.5 and shut off when I turned it back on it said 132 about 8 times. Then all it would say is Lo. I just put new batteries in last week! I took a 3 hour nap after I wrote this and before I posted! I knew I was tired. Damn the phone for ringing and waking me up!
3/4 141 Salty eating! “Guts” of a Subway spicy Italian for lunch, naked McDouble at 11:30PM!
3/5 141 I think that 139.5 was a glitch with my scale. I have been under calories and macros for several days.
3/6 140.5
3/7 141.0 I was hungry yesterday. I was over on macros and calories but not that much. (+102 cal)
3/8 140.0 I’m so glad I started tracking my averages. I feel I’m stuck in a rut but I can see I am slowly, very slowly going down! See you all in the next round!

Goal: Release 2 lbs per round to reach onederland by Memorial Day weekend.
Ultimate Goal: 175 lbs, reevaluate at that point
February
27: 215.8... I'm glad for sustaining this, even if it's only been for 2 days in a row. I've now lost 15 pounds since Christmas, and half of that since starting this challenge. Food, exercise, and water were good yesterday. Today I drove past 4 gas stations that have espresso/latte machines. I love the drinks, and they aren't high in calories or carbs as long as I skip the extra flavoring. Coffee at home is cheaper and healthier though. Each station that I passed, I told myself to just hold off and if I really wanted a latte I could wait until the next station. I made the 40 mile drive without stopping and made my bulletproof coffee as soon as I got home.
28: 215.7... I'll take it! Walked for over an hour yesterday. It was 54°F, which is crazy for February in Wisconsin! I'm glad I got to get out and enjoy it. Water, food, and sodium all good.
March
1: 215.3... Slow & steady. All good yesterday, and prelogged for today. I have an old college friend visiting, so I'm not sure I'll get much exercise in.
2: 215.6... Normal fluctuation. I was a little low on my 100oz water goal, but I did find time to get a solid walk in while my daughter was in gymnastics.
3: I forgot to check in this day! Weight was 216.4. Not sure about the increase, but not concerned after the March 4th weigh in.
4: 214.5... Yesterday was a rest day. I unintentionally ate 1300+ calories instead of 1680 plus had an extra deficit according to my Fitbit activity adjustment.
5: 214.8... Normal fluctuation, I think. I switched my MFP weekly weight loss goal from 1 pound to 1.5, and my calories dropped from 1680 to 1400. Today is my second day with this. I'll try it for a week or so, and change it back if it feels off.
6: 213.5...Whoosh! There it is!
7: 213... No formal exercise yesterday other than morning shoveling of heavy snow, but far below step goal. Food was perfect though!
8: 213... Got my walk in. After back some exercise calories, but I was still within my old, higher calorie allowance. Could've drank a bit more water.

02/28 - 164.5 - a good day yesterday..
03/01 - 164.9 - feeling sick today, ugh..
03/02 - 164.9 - feeling better, I had an ok day yesterday, no exercise the last few days..
03/03 - 164.5 - back again..!
03/04 - 164.5 - hanging in there..!
03/05 - 164.5 - stuck here.. better than gaining..!
03/06 - 164.2 - improvement! 2 more days, will I be able to finish at 163.X ?
03/07 - 164 - so close..!
03/08 - 164.5 / 74.6kg - I had my “whoosh” at the start of this round, my average is still going down, so I m happy! Although I m over calories today, it will go up tomorrow.. see you all at next round!9 -
Here we go again! I had a rough round last time...who am I kidding?!?!...I had a rough February, my least favourite month....between the blahs and the crazy hormone swings I truly believe that coming in to check in here every day is what kept me from going completely off the rails. March is just around the corner which gives me hope that I'll be able to get out running on the trails again soon once the snow and ice are gone and I won't be stuck working out in the basement.
SW - 182.4 - March 2017
Original GW - 145 - hit this in October 2017 and maintained around 143 up to Januaryish
New GW - 140 or below...I know I can do it!!
2/26 - 147.6 - this is the highest I've been in ages and I know it stems from poor food choices and some whacky peri-menopausal hormone water retention
Day/Weight/Comment
2/27 - 145.6 - literally flushed away 2lbs of water weight yesterday LOL...I logged every bit of food I put in my mouth and got in a good walk with the dog and a kettlebell workout...was a great day and really motivating to feel in control of things.
2/28 - 143.0 - continued "flushing" yesterday...GOODBYE FEBRUARY!!! I'm moving onwards and downwards!!!
3/1 - 143.2 - no more flushing...now we get down to business. NSV yesterday...on a whim I tried on a pair of size 6 jeans because they didn't have and 8...and they FIT!!! Had to buy them, at least they were from the clearance rack so double score
3/2 - 143.0 - feeling great about this week so far...in control and motivated.
3/3 - 142.6 - worked a cocktail and some wine into my calorie deficit last night...smaller deficit but still on track...I don't need these last few pounds off quickly so I think enjoying some reasonable treats on the weekend is a great reward for sticking to the plan through the week.
3/4 - 143.4 - TOM arrived....more horormones
3/5 - 146.2 - weighed in the morning...totally didn't get online to check in here
3/6 - 145.4 - TOM bounce heading back down...I'll also own that I haven't been doing great with the sweet and salty cravings, moving on...
3/7 - 146.4 - back up here...
3/8 - 145.4 - and back down here. Spent the day today at Scandinave with my hubby...I'm a puddle...we'll see what hot baths, steam rooms and a massage does to me tomorrow...I drank tonnes of water and I could feel the junk leaving through my pores in the steam room LOL...
Ending the round on an OK note...got my rolling 7 day average back down under 145...so that's a plus, but I'm a bit disapointed in how I handled my TOM cravings...7 -

One more day in this round! I've really got to get back to drinking my water. Always seems like my days are spent traveling, and that always means I drink less water. Tomorrow, I go to the Weight Loss Clinic; I was told I needed to lose 4 lbs. by this visit. I might make it if I don't eat anything else tonight, and drink extra water!
03/08: 208.6
Had my weigh in today; loss 5.2 lbs. . Need to lose 9 lbs. by April 5th.8 -
I'm excited for another Round. This group has been amazing for me regardless of whether we speak or not. You can't cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the waters.

02/27: 155 lbs I had a high carb day yesterday. I ate rice which I haven't had in about a year, numerous tortilla chips. Is the HIIT carb cycling really working, or is it a coincidence? I wonder if this number will be up tomorrow. My guess is yes.
2/28: 156.6 I was totally right! My number is definitely up. This carb cycling thing better work, or I'll cry.
03/01: 156: Going back down again. It's March 1st already! This year is flying by so quickly. Yesterday was incredibly stressful. ISTEP is hard on all involved.
03/02: 156.4 Going to head out to TN at some point today. It's our first ever getaway and my oldest is 14! I am nervous and yet so excited. Also, TOM has arrived. I believe that's the spike in my weight right now.
03/03: No Scale. I'm in Pigeon Forge, and even though I'm watching, I'm also not watching my calories and macros. My husband and I have never been away for any time in our marriage. So, I'm going to enjoy it.
03/04: No Scale. Put in about 15,000 steps yesterday. Will not put many in today since we have a 6 hour drive back to Indiana. The weekend flew by way TOO fast.
03/05: 156.6 Okay. I am good with this number. Now, it is back to the grind and to continue ISTEP.
03/06: 156.4 Well, I am down 2 oz atm. Last day to administer ISTEP for this round. Exhausted.

27/02 * no scales * oops! Great start haha away from home for a few days so trying to make the healthier options. A few too many coffees for a lunch date too. Over cals approx. 500 800ml water (eek!)
28/02 * no scales* guestimations say I have gone over cals by +200. It was pretty much tea! Overall low carbs and high protein so hopefully shouldn’t be too bad on the bod! 1.7ltrs water
01/03 * 77.9 * water water water! 1.7ltrs water
02/03 * 78.0 * TOM (strangles herself!) Aim of exercise never happened. 1.7ltrs water

Day/Weight/Comment
02/27: 227.4 @ 5:15am - This day now registers as the best day I've had among the rounds! All intake goals were on point, last meal was 3-4 hours before bedtime, bodily processes executed normally, and I took advantage of the milder Midwest weather to get outside and max out at 10/10 floors and 8400 steps (a personal best for this particular work season)! Been waking up about 15 minutes earlier, and will increase that by 10-15 minutes a week until I'm up an hour earlier to try and clamp down on the elusive chi gung!
02/28: 225.6 @ 5:20am - Was a mixed bag in a lot of ways...intake goals met, number went down, steps and activity went even further up! I felt absolutely exhausted and terrible when I got home, though - I think I'm coming down with something. Keep on trucking!
03/01: 225.6 @ 5:20am - Today was much like yesterday - high activity, low energy, and I got to sleep a bit later than intended. Water intake was lower than aimed for, so I have to be mindful of eating my meals on time to keep this from being offset too much (I don't tend to drink liquids with meals).
03/02: 225.6 @ 4:40am - Supervising standardized tests had me in the green for every Fitbit diagnostic, including a process step high of 12,500+ steps in 1 day! Still battling fatigue and what looks like a throat infection, so if I take a slight break diet-wise it will be to load up on tea and fresh, immunity-boosting produce. Fell asleep before getting the last 32oz of water in for the day, so I might see a sodium-based increase tomorrow...
03/03: 227.4 @ 5:30am Called it! Ate on my normal Saturday schedule (controlled breakfast, snack, and a mindful, healthy, but unmeasured Shabbat meal plate) so I'll expect a drop or maintained weight. Got over 5000 steps, which I am happy about since it can be hard to be overtly active on Shabbat.
03/04: 227.4 @ 7:00am - Chi gung!! Felt good to have an extended session and get back to this, though my body's getting worn out by this throat infection. Switched to 1400 cal/day, so I'm navigating the slight shift. This was harder to do since I ran around a lot and had my eating schedule completely thrown off. Watching the Oscars didn't help, but hopefully eating with a modified Saturday schedule and the increased running around will put me in a good place.
03/05: 228.2 @ 6:10am - Not sure where the scale climb is coming from, but I'm maintaining. Day was thrown off - two in a row now - by an abnormal meeting and event schedule along with getting home late. Water and calories were off a bit, and I clocked in at around 5400 steps. The major positive for the day was increased sleep, which I plan to keep up as well! Tomorrow is another day...
03/06: 228.2 @ 6:10am Today found me in a good place with intake goals after the shift to 1400 calories. Digestive system also seems to have kicked back into gear after being odd for a few days, so perhaps some scale changes are coming!
03/07: 226.0 @ 5:45am Glad for the scale downshift! Work and feeling bleh from the infection has my step count down, so I'm hoping I can address my throat and get out of the fatigue funk. Still staying on my prep and calorie discipline, so nothing is being thrown off too much by feeling funky.
03/08: 226.0 @ 5:30am Lots of focused office work has me beneath steps this week, so I'll have to manage my expectations accordingly since there won't end up being a lot of burn from that end of things. Throat felt slightly better! Intake goals were good, and sleep was great for this day. I'm getting it in before DST throws things off completely!1 -
