Today pants were falling off of me. I luckily had a bag of things I wanted to donate including pants that were too small for me to fit. I tried them on and they fit. No side buldges!!!! I'm officially down 1 pants size32

This evening a group of us were at a friend's house. She put out soft chocolate chip cookies (from the bakery no less) for us to enjoy. I leaned over to take one (I had room in my calories for the day) and someone said "If I was as skinny as you I'd have one too". What???? No one has ever said that to me in my life!!! And no, I'm not skinny. I've lost 90 pounds but I've been battling the same 8 pounds since October. It felt good to hear though

Going from wearing tight clothes and looking in the mirror trying to convince myself I looked OK but knowing I looked ridiculous. Then slimming down feeling comfortable and looking good in those same clothes. Then slimming down further and acknowledging those same clothes are so big I'm looking ridiculous again. Time to shop27

I'm starting to reach the point where I've realized that if I workout sick, or on sore or others compromised joints or muscles, I'm looking for trouble...
I've always known this but victory lies in knowing that it's only going to be to my benefit if I rest an extra day... Or even two
It's not a sign I'm slowing down, just coasting on the momentum I've built, so I can come back stronger31 -
Bought a new belt a few months ago and I could barely wear it using the first notch. This morning I cinched up my pants and am proud to say that I on the last notch of that belt. Time to start looking for a new one or punch some holes in the current one!19

This one is a little bittersweet, but after a visit to my family I realized how active I have become and how inactive the rest of my family is. We ate and sat around 99% of the time I was there and it made me stir crazy but also opened my eyes to the habits I had growing up and how, as an adult, I'm glad I've been able to break some of those through exercise and creating my own habits.38

I find that if anyone gets up to do something active, at least a few others will join in, sometimes everyone.7 -
I did deadlifts BY MYSELF today!
And I finished the first 4 weeks of Strong Curves. I was not specifically in it for the booty building, but I definitely have a butt now. Weird.19 -
Usually if I'm going out to eat and know where I'm going I look at the menu beforehand just to make sure there's something I can eat there (I'm pescatarian). Sometimes I'll look at calories and decide on something healthy beforehand, but don't always stick to it. This week I'll be going out for food TWICE and both times I've made myself plan my day around those allotted calories and not felt the bit deprived!
Additionally, I usually log my food the morning of, or occasionally if I'll have leftovers I'll log a meal the day before. I wanted to go ahead and log this Saturday's out-to-eat meal to know how many calories leftover I'll have to play around with, and ended up just logging everything from tomorrow up through part of Sunday!14 -

Makes you think about the "nature vs. nurture" argument, doesn't it?

I've been struggling since the end of October. Back on track this week and already needing a belt (and tempted to try the next lower waist size). Keto on my friends21

Since retiring in January of this year, love being able to meet girlfriends for lunch. Previously when I would do that, we would each order an item. The last few times, we've decided to order one item and split it. Works much better for both my daily log and my pocketbook!24

I can wear my wedding rings again without my finger feeling like an overstuffed sausage. My husband is pleased, lol.28
