All of you are inspirational!3

Starting weight was 278. Current weight is 135. I transitioned slowly from omnivore to vegetarian and then vegan & began slowly with exercise & pushed my endurance. I learned that consistency is key and it’s a lifestyle change, not a “diet”. I slowly removed the bad food from my life and replaced them with good so that my mind AND body could adjust. It’s been an incredible journey. It’s almost coming up on a year of me maintaining my weight and health! Excited!! If I can do it, so can you!! Keep calm & carry on, rockstars!
Wow! You look like a different person and I'm sure feel like one too! Well done!6 -

I'm gobsmacked! You are less than 50% of what you were. I love to see the swans emerge in these success threads, thank you for sharing your accomplishment and joy!6 -

I started at 311 and this is the photo that really hit hard and is the reason I started my journey. There is a 128 lb difference here and I am 5'4.

I really needed this thread. Thank you so much. I am 281 (5 pounds down). I have tried losing weight for the past 10 years unsuccessfully. Each of your success stories help because they tell me I can do this. For those who have lost, do you have tons of excess skin? I'm very concerned about this and it hinders my weight loss I think.7

@nypa96
Yes, I have loose skin on my arms, breasts, abdomen, and thighs. I have lost 168 lbs; my highest weight was 316 lbs. I’m roughly 5’4”. Although the appearance of it bothers me, it’s only noticeable when I’m naked, when I have a swimsuit or if I wear sleeveless tops. Even then, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. It beats being fat for sure!6 -

Started at 301 pounds on January 19th, 2017. I am now in the 190s. I don't know my exact weight, haven't stepped on the scale in a while. So about 11 months? I workout (walking, dancing) and just count my calories
What was your calorie allowance when you first started...Great job!!!
Wow you look terrific!!! Congratulations!!1 -
What inspiring pictures, great job1

Wow! You ladies are inspiring and amazing. Every day is a challenge to make the right choice or not beating yourself up for making the wrong choice. My highest weight was 303 in January 2016. I quickly lost 30 lbs and then just stopped. I got on the scale two weeks ago and saw 298....I was like no way am I getting over 300 again. And so the journey has begun again...for the millionth time. I’m looking for inspirational friends or ones that want to join me in being motivating and holding each other accountable.8
