So I am wondering what you guys on here do. Do you eat the skin or just the inside? If you don't, do you on a regular potato?
I've done this with regular potatoes, but NEVER with sweet potatoes.1 -
Yes.
When I had problems with IBS, I stopped eating the skin for a while bc it bothered my stomach, but I'm fine with it now.0 -
I eat all potato skins, and I’m another shrimp tail eater as well.2

I didn't until recently, but now I do. I started a similar thread a month or so ago. It's delicious!3

Only when diced and roasted0

I love the skin on sweet potatoes (and regular potatoes). But, I also eat the whole (skin and flesh) portion of lime or lemon in a drink, as well as shrimp tails. I learned something today - I had no idea that anyone else ate the shrimp tails.2

I eat it, unless it's dry and icky. Maybe tbe way your friend cooks them makes the skin unappetizing.0
-
I eat it most of the time0

NO!0

No...it's too chewy. I eat the skin of red and golden potatoes though.0

Your friend's the weirdo. Lol. I eat all of any type of potato.1

Nope, don't like it, so don't eat it.0

I've never imagined wanting to eat the skin of a baked sweet potato. I'm still not enticed to.0

I LOVE sweet potato skin, but HATE regular potato skin.0

-
Always, for all potatoes.0

Yep for all potatoes. The only time I would not eat the skin is if I was making mash. I’ll remove the skin if making homemade chips or roast potatoes, but not wedges or boiled (not that I boil sweet potato)...think it’s just an aesthetic thing on chips for me. On any sort of baked potato I especially love the skin being mega crispy.
Oh, I have also eating the skin on Butternut Squash, but that is a lazy thing as they are such a pain to peel. Perfectly edible tho.1
