Sounds great, even to fusspot like me. Sadly, I don't own a crockpot, but I've just posted on my local freecycle in the hope I can acquire one soon!0

Instead of using can pineapple, I prefer fresh, so I looked up online and found this one:
http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=912
Ingredients
4 chicken breast, no skin
3 tbsp soy sauce
4 slices fresh pineapple,
1/2 cup pineapple juice
6 fl. oz. light beer (--> I probably will skip this one)
1 tbsp black pepper
1 large onion
Directions
Slice onion and place in the bottom of the slow cooker. Place chicken breasts on top of onion and sprinkle with pepper.
Place pineapple slices on top of chicken.
Pour soy sauce, pineapple juice and beer over all, adding more if necessary so that chicken is covered.
Cook until juices run clear. (Times may vary, depending on the slow cooker).

80 cal per chicken breast? Are they like 1.5oz chicken breasts or what?0

bump sounds delic!0

Just put this into my recipe maker with a few alterations. Low sodium soy sauce, fresh cut pineapple and add a little curry powder oh and boneless skinless chicken thighs instead of breasts, came out to 201 calories per serving. Sounds delicious, can't wait to try it!0
