    What does "bump" mean?

    I had this question for weeks and was too afraid to ask. I think that by "bumping" a thread, you're participating in the thread so that it will then show up in your "my topics" section so people can check back on it without having to search the whole message board for it.

    I'm not sure why it's "bump" and not another word, maybe someone knows?

    Made this yesterday. We added a bag of frozen stir-fry veggies, bamboo shoots, and water chestnuts. It was good but I don't think it is *my thing*. But, all in all it was pretty good.

    Going to have to try this one! I am attempting to make my own versions of Lean Cuisine dinners -on the weekends make up meals in plastic containers and freeze them. I like the Lean Cuisine but I think I can do better with my own recipes
