@mnwalkingqueen I'm so happy to see that I'm not the only one! I hope to get to the point of having less bad days. I think I'm not eating AS badly when I do though so I guess that's a step in the right direction.

@Lakota1961 I used to totally be caught up in perfectionism. I never wanted to face my bad days. Since I started logging it all, funnily enough, I haven't quit trying to lose and I'm sticking with it. I finally turned a corner with this & I really believe that this time I'll reach my goal weight, no matter how long it takes me.

I have used fitness pal off and on for a few years but have never looked at any of the message boards just interested to see what they are and if maybe it will help to motivate seeing others plans/ideas also.

Hey guys, I’m dragging this week. Super sick. No exercise. Just trying not to eat too much. Of course, I’m one of the few that actually wants to eat more when I’m sick. It’s a comfort thing, I think : (

First PT session at 6.15am (shoulders/arms/core)....our puppy, Stanley who is 5 1/2 months old almost peed on my head whilst I was planking.....I can see the funny side!
Off to join the local fitness club tonight so I can start some classes, I used to love Kettlebells, Pilates, Bokwa & boxercise.....but let it all go over the last 4 years so need to get back to being fit, healthy and happy in my own skin :-)

At least you have a reason @Nikion901. I couldn't have been more perfect this week yet I gained 0.25. I don't get it. It gets frustrating. I don't think I'll make my goal challenge either and mine was set very conservatively. I was pretty bummed when I saw the scale this morning. :(

    Have a great weekend everyone!

@kbeyer23 Big Hugs to you! Maintaining during times of stress is probably best. You've got enough going on without the added stress of trying to lose weight.

@Nikion901 My March was like that. OMG, I didn't do well at all with way too many high days. It's finding a balance between high enough calories to feel comfortable and low enough to lose steadily. I think I found it now ... a few days of 1200 - 1300 ish and a few at 1600. I know it sounds a bit nutty but I bought myself stickers and I put one on the calendar for each day of the week that I'm at or under 1600 calories. I like the visual and the small incentive to stay on track. I trust that you'll reign things in and come out of April with a weight you're happy with.

I do something like that too @Birder165 , with a sticker on the days I am at or below a certain number ... that's how I can easily count em up to see where I stand at any point in time ... sadly, it doesn't stop me from overeating. For me, I got my insulin level out of whack, and it takes time to get control of the hunger this drives up back on track. I'll get it under control, but in the meantime everything is like back at ground zero to balance my blood sugars and feeds.

    Goal Weight (Apr 27, 2018): 257.4

    Weigh-ins, week of
Mar 09: 271.0 I will be out of town for the next two weeks, but I will eat to plan. I won’t have access to a scale at a predictable time or date, but I am still working my plan and in on this challenge.
Mar 16: 267.0 I am using a borrowed scale and I don’t completely trust it.
Mar 23: 268.0 Still out of town, and spending a lot of time in a hospital. Food and water have been issues, as well as the borrowed scale which reads a different number every time I step on it.
Mar 30: 268.0 My mother is dying. I can’t preplan and prepackage meals now. I’m hoping to just maintain for now.
Apr 06: 265.2 I am writing this on Sunday the 8th. My mother passed yesterday. I did still weigh every day.
Apr 13: 264.0 I am doing my best to log but don’t have internet access where I’m staying. I log in from my dad’s or my brother’s house as I can do so. Hate that my daily login streak broke, but what can I do. Service is tomorrow, and I’ll be here another week after that.

The My Fittness Pal app is acting weirdly on my computer again ... I had to get rid of all my browser history, and website data in order to open it up when it started acting up again yesterday. I'm going to get rid of it ... and will perhaps try it again at a later date. In the meantime ... I will not be attempting to access the site ... so, unfortunately, I am dropping out of our Spring Challenge because I probably won't be back on here until I have some professional diagnostics done on my system.

So ... By everyone. I hope your all do well for the rest of the month and come in at where you want to be.

@skinnyjeanzbound, It was great to see your note. I've missed you! I haven't seen anyone else except Niki on here that I know, so I'm trying to learn all the new peeps. Still not doing that great but I'm in the process of taming the out of control eating by eating plenty of healthy foods and not resorting to all the things that trigger my poor eating habits. Today for the first time in ages I will log all my food, good or bad and keep just taking one step at the time until I am again moving toward a slimmer, healthier me!
Thanks for all those hugs from everyone, it made me feel cared for!
