8 pounds in 8 weeks challenge

Hi, I am planning to try to lose 8 pounds in 8 weeks. If anyone would like to join me, please feel free! I am planning to post my weight here each Monday but if you prefer a different weigh in day that is fine too! The challenge will go from April 23-June 18.

April 23rd 198lbs so aiming for 190.
I'll be trying to walk 30 mins or 10 000 steps a day plus 3 other exercise sessions per week. I'll also be trying to stick to my MFP calorie allowance and eat 5 portions of fruit and veg per day (I don't often manage this!) I'd be interested to hear what others will be trying to do......

I am trying to eat as little as 1200 calories each day but I know some days I may be a little over but ideally in the 1200-1900 range, the lower the better. And I am aiming for 5 good workouts each week!1 -

I am a day late but count me in. Goal is to reach 190 or less by 6/18. I will be logging food into MyFitnessPal with a daily calorie goal of 1400 calories per day. Will walk 30 minutes 4 to 5 times per week.

I am late to the party but would love to join you! but count me in. My Goal is to reach 154.2 or less by 6/18. I am trying to attend at least 3-4 classes a week with a mix of zumba and yoga. Nice to meet you all!

I check my weight everyweek, but it only counts on the first of each month. That's when I update my ticker. I've been doing crossfit for going on 3 weeks now, my lowest weight this month was 291, then I went up overnight. I'm asumming its a combination of water weight and muscle building, because my weight is dropping again this week, hopefully it sticks and doesn't go back up again.2 -
I'm in too! My goal is to get under 192 by June 18. I'm restarting Turbo Jam since it's been a while since I've exercised.
