Skipped the gym last night in favor of overeating at an Indian restaurant...tried to only overeat the healthier items :) Spin class done 5:30 a.m. and at work at a rainy, dreary day in NJ. Happy Friday.

What is everyone's plans for the weekend?
Yard work for this guy - to include some minor landscaping, maybe rebuild the steps to my shop.

Going to the gym first thing in the morning. I have a little yard work I need to get done - just a few weeds to pull. Nothing really planned. Enjoy your yard work and step building, if you get to it.

    Mowing the lawn.
    Trimming the hedge.
Another attempt at a failed plumbing job.
    Two hours at the beach.
Hosting a big Sunday lunch at home.

Then Tuesday is a holiday, but unfortunately Monday is a regular work day.

Hi, I'm new to the forums, but not to MFP. I'm a 48-year-old children's librarian, musician, and mom to one teen and one all grown up and on his own (!) in Indiana. My weight has been creeping up gradually. In the past I have run and done workout videos (like 30-Day Shred), but always gave up after a couple of weeks because it was such a chore and I would make excuses not to do it. I finally got a gym membership about 3 weeks ago, and I LOVE it! I actually look forward to my workout now, and I am starting to see results.

Weekend plans? Saturday, gym for spinning and bodypump...then work to go through a terminated employee's office and computer. That's always fun...not. Sunday, gym. Food shop. Hopefully bingewatch Mad Men at some point.
