This part of the forum is my favorite to browse through. So much motivation here and so much awesome results from dedicated hard working people. Thanks to everyone who shares their pictures and their progress/success pictures.
I'm not done my fat loss journey yet but I hit a proud milestone for myself today reaching 60 lbs lost so far. I was 274 Lbs on Feb 2nd 2018 and today May 18 2018 I am 214 Lbs. I don't have a specific weight goal but more of a body fat % goal. I still have a ways to go to get as lean as I would like to be. I've finally started seeing some muscle definition with a lot of the fat that was covering it up disappearing rapidly. Still have a long way to go but at least some of it is showing now lol. I love lifting weights and cycling so that's what I've also been doing while losing weight. I haven't felt this good in a very long time. I was pre diabetic prior to this fat loss and had high blood pressure and beginning of a fatty liver. All my health markers have improved across the board so I'm very very happy about all that.
Keep up the great work everybody!

Good luck on your continued journey.0 -
The first one was around 10 years ago, second one after I lost around 70 lbs and my wife had lost around 30 lbs (100 combined) and the last was the most recent -- went to Cabo for Halloween (what a hoot!) and needed last minute costumes. At my thinnest, I was 170, but now I'm up to around 187 but mostly stayed the same body fat percentage (I've been at lifting steady and rowing steady for around four years).
In the first picture, we are around 42 (me) and 46 (my wife). In the last picture, we were 51 and 55. I tell my wife she looks like she's reverse aging...

I'm 53 years old, and 5'2. My weight has fluctuated my entire life -- I was always the chubby kid growing up. I topped out in college at around 175 lbs. I gradually lost the weight after college once I got into a more structured routine. I've done all sorts of diets - weight watchers, the zone, restriction, just watching what I ate. For several years after college my weight fluctuated between 120-140 lbs. I started back tracking on MFP just over 2 years ago (I recently reached a 2 year streak for logging in ).
I couldn't find pictures at my heaviest (non-pregnant!) weight...
Anyway, I've been maintaining my weight now for about a year and half. It feels good!

Starting weight 277 lb goal weight 135 lbs. No surgeries, hard core diets or gimmicks just hard work, dedication, staying positive and lots of praying. It works if you do! Feel free to add me as a friend.
