How is it that Thanos can defeat the Hulk? I thought The Hulk's strength increased as he got more angry? Almost making him infinitely powerful. I would think that Hulk has had equally tough battles....I really am a newb but I love the Avenger movies and am branching out from there.

Why didn't Thanos just use the infinity stones to create more resources instead of killing everybody? He could have made an infinity of extra resources with a thought and nobody would have to be killed.

    Dude has issues.

And Vision had the right idea the whole time...should have killed himself right away. Black Panther should have said oh yeah we are killing this red guy right now.

Not impressed with Dr Strange, either. AND his chubby wizard friend. Dude just leaves for no reason to go do what guard some artifacts?

Dr. Strange was an all star.

How burning would it have been to create more resources? Who would want to watch a movie like that?

Just general, but how does the agent chick not die? Like, for realz, she is just a normal girl with good fighting skills, not even a superhero, and you got guys/girls who are superheros, able to shoot lighting, conjure crap, and wutevs and SOMEHOW she lives against these people. Wut? Same with the arrow shooting putz. Like they would live against Gods, Demigods, or actual powered superheros?

You kind of have to suspend belief. Also it's like the OG avengers now

Her fighting skills aren’t normal though. Plus this is a comic book movie, you have to go in with a high level of suspension of belief.

Heyyy we said the same thing

Nah.....it's art....it's fantasy....it's an escape from the grind. It's really fun. I wish I had gotten into it sooner.

Did anyone else cry in the cinema like a baby at Peter Parker dying or was it just me?

I would also love to know how the stones picked and chooses who stays and who goes. Me and my friend were talking about how it could be equivalent exchange or picking at people's weaknesses - like how Rocket feels like he's nothing without his team but now he's the only member of his team left

Hey man. Yeah, I got that as well. This is the way that Dr Strange found that they win.

However...that just does even more to kill any suspense for an upcoming movie.

In Empire Strikes Back...things are dark, but it's also compelling.

Now...in this, Thanos already settled everything. Nothing has to be done. Everybody is dead, and Thanos is off enjoying his imaginary sunset or however he spends his demi-God time.

In a future movie, there doesn't need to be any character development...and we know exactly how it will go (imo).

Some mish-mash of action where they finally get the glove off of Thanos...somebody will put it on, and then there's your deus-ex-machina ending where everything goes back to being normal.

It would actually be a whole lot cooler if they just said whatever...let's just let everybody stay dead.

    Thanos fixed all the problems.

Just kind of a depressing way to fix them.

I did love seeing the battle in Wakanda and see the various superheros function like some kind of military unit I guess. There were definitely good parts. Still disappointed, though.

:D I'm sure I'll still go see the next one...I see them all lol.

My wife was a mess from Loki til the end

That part killed me as well, and I visibly gasped when Tony was stabbed, like, I couldn't deal with it even though I know that Infinity War isn't a fun time for anyone

Me too. I was in the fetal position holding my face the whole time whispering 'no' except when thanos activated the time stone. Then I yelled no

I thought that I would but I didn't cry at any of it. I went in thinking "Loki is gonna die in this one" and then when the ending happened I just knew that it would get reversed so I wasn't upset about it.

But I did feel something when Bucky's last word was "Steve?"

    NO. STOP.

It was sad to see Loki break when thor was about to die. And choking. You watched the life leave him and his corpse exploded. He might not come back

I think I just shielded myself from heartbreak so I went in there with zero emotions beyond anxiety :p

I think Loki is dead dead but I think that most, if not all, of the people who died at the end will come back - at least at first.

Yes i believe that. My buddy was like ' such and such have movies coming out' and i went through all of them and explained how they could do them without those characters

If Sam didn't also poof I might be a bit worried about Bucky because then I might be thinking, "well I guess he'll be the next Captain America" but because they both died I'm doing okay
