    That’s the worst!!! That was my shift on graves and by 3am, loopy as f and by 4, whiplash from nodding off.

    Coffee is my friend. It's not that bad if I get a field call around that time, keeps me awake. The worst is if I get a call to Blythe that is 1.5 hours away. Driving by rumble strip all the way.

    Yes that is when praying for a call just to stay awake. Don’t drink coffee soda or energy drinks so I was on my own for staying awake or make the guys come in and hang.

    Driving to Blythe so late then by time call is over and driving back you will have wished you never got call in first place lol

    Thats my schedule for next week so that I can attend training. Rough adjustment on the fly. Then back to the night owl shift.

    Been busy here tonight. I always love when people come in and tell me, "He couldn't have gotten into anything." Then they tell me they don't know what his feces looks like because, "We have 20 acres and we let him out back to defecate so we don't watch him." If you have 20 acres and you don't watch him, then how can you say he didn't get into anything?
